@Antarctic Termite Nop, I'm happy with that map xP
Despairing at this, the High Sheep Council convened for an emergency meeting one December dawn and after hours of debating, the High Sheep Council came out with a short declaration to sheepkind. There was only one way to defeat Bob and Bill, it read, and that was an act of mass ritual suicide by explosion; so all the sheep killed themselves. Bob and Bill were declared heroes of mankind for defeating the world-conquering sheep from hell.
@Antarctic Termite Arcon used a random generator too. Whenever new planets come into play in this iteration, I intend to follow Dawn's precedent. I have a hider full o' randomly generated maps in my secret PM >.>
So I support randomly generated maps from the off for Lite.

SORRY! YOU ARE VERY HARD TO HEAR FROM ALL THE WAY UP THERE ON THAT PILE OF SEVERAL MILLION WORDS THAT WAS YOUR LAST FEW POSTS! WHAT WAS THAT!? TOWERS!?! I WOULD DARE TO DESCRIBE SUCH A PILE OF WORDS YOU SPEAK FROM AS TOWER-LIKE, HENCE WHY YOU NEED TO SPEAK UP, LAD! MAKE YOURSELF CLEARER!!

See, what we must understand is that casual is an attitude, not a number of words. It is a whole worldview, entire, complete, self-contained, free-standing, self-sufficient.
Mid/High Free

'This is a HIGH free RP. HIGH free.'
'Course, we're only running in the casual section here because this RP only semi-intentionally blew out into Advanced section levels of writing, but whatever.

Mk.II isn't an advanced section RP :C it's casual. Casual.

It's casual. We're casual. Call it casual. We're casual rpers. We're not like 'em stuck up folk in their high advanced towers. We're fun. Casual. Casual.
@Antarctic Termite@Muttonhawk
While I know the rules are complex and our Character Sheets are rather big, I vote to keep it to the FREE SECTION.

I can see that the free section has posts that are three paragraphs, sometimes slightly longer, so it allows for some detail for those of us who are verbose bastards. Cough.
I don't want Divinus Lite to end up taking up our efforts & attention and effectively supplanting Mk.II. If we wanna write big stuff, Mk.II is here. If we want to write something short'n'quick, Lite is for that.

Kho votes keep it FREE. And so should you. Vote Free today.

The former sounds vague and inflexible

It's pretty, much what happened in this RP Gods did their whole making the Codex and laws and whatnot, but it was really Fate and Amul who did the creating itself.

But yeah, maybe that way of doing things is a bit vague and inflexible ^^' long-winded and confusing as well, as Capy pointed out

It could go either way. It depends on what we'd do with the 'demigod levels' if we started out on a blank world at level one. The only real difference between Mk. II rules level one start and Lite rules level three start is that more Might is flowing around from the get go, so turn one lasts longer.

Lite rules level one start will sort of be an inversion of what we had in Mk. II, where everyone did their huge planet-warping displays of power in the start and then mellowed out later. With Lite rules you'll be making flora and fauna first, cultivating a small number of sentient beings and then later on changing the landscape or using major powers to boost them once they're established. The first few turns will probably last quite a bit longer, because you're not just using all your Might to muscle past the low levels each turn.

Whether that's better or not is up to you all. Any thoughts?

We could always excuse the extraordinary power used by Level 1 lite-gods at the start by saying that much of it had to do with Fate and Mater lending them the power necessary to create an entire universe to their liking. So the basic laws etc. of the universe will be created by the gods as with Mk.II
It might mean that Turns 1 and 2 will be a bit slow as the gods will be limited with regards to the sentient life they can create. Unless Mater creates a basic intelligent species with which the newborn gods can go about playing and developing into different species.
I just finished reading a book and want something new, any media similar to Divinus? Creating a god made me want to get into something mythological.

I once read a really cool book on Norse mythology. It kind of went through the important Norse legends in something of a chronological order, so everything built up towards the end: Ragnarok. It was really quite cool. Can't remember the name of the book though.
