According to my broken Japanese while I was wandering about in a light novel bookstore at Akihabara(gawd, climbing 5 floors to reach the one I wanted, while the second series I wanted was on the first floor...), there is a bonus LN in regards to the story. Also yes, it was touched upon at the main story, during the Lumberjack event.

Charlotte is my favorite anime this season! The opening song gives me goosebumps. Gakkou gurashi is behind that because its a little more innocent and all the others are a little meh. Gate is fun and all but it stopped like halfway again.
Finished reading 2 pages of ic in a hour and a half. Gonna sleep now and do the other stuff tommorow. Sooo friking tired >.<
I...might be making a fan/joke dub regarding episode two with the 'teleportation' for the sandwiches :3
