okay quick question if I play a summon can I still have a backstory? do the summons have pasts?

Hey guys I finally made it back to the guild...I have been gone for so long. I really missed this place and the new look is crazy but I'll get used to it. I don't know who all made it from the crash...But I hope at least a few of my friends are still here, and I am super excited to be roleplaying again.
