So I replied to Takaru and...yeah, I failed at wrapping it up. XD You can finish up and timeskip in your post, Takaru! Accept Saya's girly sleepover, you know you want to... At any rate, I wouldn't suggest anyone else reply to my post since it's dating a day back from the current RP. I just wanted to finish my Priestess SLing.
((OOC: This is a response to this post.)) -Sunday 12 April, 2015- Leiko Hamada and Saya Ueno: Ueno Restaurant "Aww, really? Bummer." Saya released a disappointed sigh as she slumped on the spare seat beside them, her lips drawing into an apologetic grin. "Sorry, Kotori-chan. Guess I got a little over-excited for some dirt. That's what a weekend shift does to a girl, you know. But not for much longer!" She yelled triumphantly, jabbing a finger at the clock. "Another hour and I've paid off my debt! Oh yeah!" Was she still on about those accursed boots? Leiko pondered in slight disbelief as she watched her friend do some kind of victory dance. Perhaps it was just a strange sentiment to Leiko; her high class upbringing left her wanting for nothing, after all. Paying off any sort of debt was an alien concept to her. "As pleasing as it is to hear that, Saya, I wouldn't hold my breath," Leiko said with a small shrug of her shoulders. "This isn't the first, and certainly won't be the last time you're in this predicament." "Oh, please. I am not getting stuck doing this lame-ass job again," Saya denied with a grimace at the very thought. "I mean, I could be spending my Sunday shopping instead, you know?" "And there lies the eternal conundrum...", Leiko murmured under her breath, before realizing that Kotori was still in their presence and looking somewhat uncomfortable. "Oh, I would like to apologize on behalf of my friend Saya by the way, Shirohane-san. I am fairly sure she was born with her fist firmly lodged in her mouth," she remarked dryly. "Just pay her no mind, and order some food before delving further into our discussion, hmm?" "Sooooo mean," Saya whined pouting slightly as her eyes flickered to the side for a moment. "Oh shoot, I think I just saw my mother lurking around. Better not let her catch me." She quickly got to her feet with an agile and fluid motion, which was impressive considering the wheels attached to her feet. "Don't forget you're coming over later, right Hama-chan?" You promised." She looked over again at Kotori with a thoughtful look. "Hmm. Hey, you wanna hang out at mine as well, Kotori-chan? We can have like a big, girly sleepover!" She clapped her hands together in excitement. "I know you're like, really quiet in school and stuff, but you can loosen up at mine! We'll smuggle some of my dad's sake from the cellar and-" No," Leiko quickly interjected before Saya brought her suggestion to its completion. "I would prefer us not to get inebriated when we have school tomorrow-or at all, quite frankly!" She added with slight colour rushing to her cheeks at her implication. "Shirohane will have a terrible first impression of us both if you keep nattering away-and then I will never get an insight into the common student's literary interests!" "...That's what you're talking about?" The disapproval was dripping from every syllable of Saya's words as she rolled her eyes dramatically. "Gee, should have known that you were doing drama stuff. Can't you chill even on your days off, Hama-chan? Seriously." She looked over at Kotori pityingly. "Wow, I feel kinda sorry for you. She cornered you with this stuff, did she? But I am serious if you wanna chill later. I'm always up for having new friends. Hama-chan too, even if she is a grump about it," she grinned, ignoring the scowl being thrown from Leiko's direction.
In regards to our Star Arcana. This was pretty easy, matched the arcana fairly well, and now Leiko has some foil so that she doesn't look too silly if she goes ham on her own. Accepted. Don your shades bruh.
S-should I be scared that she has foil with me XD? and I dunno how bruh.
Nah, all he means is that Leiko finally has someone that can actually handle her dramatic flair and possibly out-drama queen her too. In any case, welcome to the Drama Club, where the men are bountiful and the Shakespeare is strong.
Posted! After like 5 hours of procrastinating And now I sleep.
At Syrus's response to her question, Mei's eyes swept over from Duncan to a young woman that she had neglected to notice upon entering the room. There was a clear look of distaste on her face as she felt the woman's eyes glance over Mei's appearance, before speaking to her in a cool and professionally crisp tone. Kein's wife (or so Syrus had described her) confirmed that she too was leading the operation, whilst assuming that Mei had read over her dossier. Of course, Mei had done no such thing, having concentrated on only the interesting and vital parts of the operation, and despite attempting to disguise this fact with a carefree smile, Mei was clearly failing. "Oh! Trust me, you wouldn't have been the slightest bit interested in my file anyway. It would have bored someone like you to tears," Mei reassured her with a light, and obviously forced laugh. "But umm, I definitely remember reading about you somewhere! Miss...uhh..." "Yoko Ono." The relief washed over Mei's face as her subdued brother finally spoke up, saving the embarrassment of being caught in a lie as he took over. "SeeD and field adjutant to Duncan Lerwick." He gestured over to the male standing beside Yoko before continuing. "As Mei has already stated, we're both part of the Resistance Faction. I cover field work whilst Mei handles negotiation and correspondence. Mei visited your Garden yesterday to speak to Head Instructor Corvo, and he has agreed to join us in our cause." He cleared his throat. "Our cause...to take down Deling." Tyler sharply inclined his head in Mei's direction as a sign that he was done speaking before perching himself against the wall, icy blue eyes watching the group silently. Mei, taking over from her brother, continued. "We've been saving up for enough money to recruit SeeD for the longest time. On our own...we are powerless under the heel of President Deling, but with the strength of SeeD backing us up..." Mei's hopeful words trailed off slightly, before she quickly gave herself a visible shake. "But anyway, I'm getting ahead of myself. As you are all aware, Timber-" A gasp cut Mei short, her eyes blinking in surprise at the two figures standing by the doorway. They were both brandishing what looked like food supplies, and the bald-headed woman that interrupted her gave some kind of sarcastic sneer before sitting herself down on one of the available seats expectantly. Tyler looked as if he was biting back the urge to reply, and it took Mei to give him a quick warning look to silence him before picking up where she left off. "Uhh, right! Guess we're all here now, right Mr Du-Lerwick?" She corrected herself with a sheepish grin before straightening out her shoulders. "Right. Where was I? Ahh, yes. As you're all aware Timber has been under martial law by the Galbadians since the Sorceress War 18 years ago..." * "...and that's where you guys come in." Mei's briefing of the situation in Timber finally reached its end, a satisfied expression on the girl's face as she held their attention. As per her superior's instructions, she had kept the information disclosed on the Faction to a need-to-know basis, and instead focused on the control the Galbadians had over the city, and where they were stationed. There was one particular station however, that Mei would be drawing attention to. "There is an important figure in the Galbadian Army. Someone close to Deling," Mei explained with a hint of a smile, the adrenaline rush of the mission flowing through her veins. "He's currently stationed here in Timber, at their main headquarters just south of the TV station. Tomorrow evening, SeeD will infiltrate the building and contain him for questioning." Hands on her hips, Mei looked over at the group of mercenaries with an endearingly confident grin. "And that's where we start planning your line of attack! Any questions before we move on?"
I've been stalking watching the old thread for a while now and reckon this would be the best chance to strike. Are you still recruiting for the spare Arcanas?
I had a feeling you were going to show up. :P Yep, any of the Vacant spots are available. The last thread looked huge, but plotwise not a lot happened so you shouldn't have difficulty fitting in.
And so we begin the third incarnation of The True Self. And a whole lot of shitposting to get our post count back to scratch. Anyway, I'll reply to Takaru after the first IC post is done.
