So I am going to assume you are still working on your character.
Just a few notes, typical age for characters at beacon would start around 17 and then I'm not sure where exactly it caps out. My Guess is 21.
For the things you do not understand while I will take the time tomorrow to type out my own written explanation, I can't right now because I need to go to sleep and I'm on my phone. You can Google 'RWBY Semblance' and it will explain that part for you and 'RWBY Faunus' to explain the species part.

Eleanor stands gracefully at a petite 5'4", despite being on the shorter side she was blessed with what she has been told is the body of a perfect woman. Eleanor is on the smaller side but still has some curve to her, which disgustingly gets pointed out when some lords get drunk and decide to bother her. The princess also has long dark brown hair that is always done up some intricate way, whether it is curled, has a braid, or has some fancy hair piece in it. To match her hair she has chocolate brown eyes that shine with her smile, a smile that she always tries to keep on her fair skinned face to help show that she is friendlier compared to the rest of her family. She can always be found in some sort of nice dress as her father forbid her from wearing any form of trousers even when it comes to riding her horse.

Motivation
Eleanor has always been someone who has made time to get to know everyone who works in the castle along with her personal maids and her 'ladies-in-waiting' that were there to help her and in a way be her forced friends. Despite this she got to know all of them well and has befriended most of her 'ladies-in-waiting' along with the people in the castle. Through Eleanor's friendships with people in the castle she learned of a few of the darker things that happened outside of the castle walls, the things she was blinded from. She learned of horrid things her father or brother did and would be disgusted by. As more and more of these things piled up along with things she learned from Fenros she began to want to change the way her kingdom was run. Then when she found out about a secret her father had been keeping for years... well it just pushed her to the edge and she knew right then and there she would have to take charge of her own destiny and work towards changing the kingdom for the better.

What is the most important thing to know about your character?
Eleanor holds a strong love for her kingdom and its people. Unlike most she does not view herself above the commoners, she only views herself as being lucky enough to have been born into the family she was. Which makes her believe that she should only use her power that she holds over others when it is necessary and correct time to use it. When she does decided to use said power, Eleanor has a certain way with words that she naturally came by. Her father has had her use it to motivate warriors before they set off for war or a fight and the feedback is always positive with people saying her words spoke to a different part of them and just enhanced their drive and motivation to win.

What is your character's greatest flaw?
Eleanor is much too caring and naive to the way the outer world works. She has a view that there is good in everyone even if it is hard to see at first, so she will stop to help anyone she can even if it puts her in danger. Sometimes without knowing she is even in any danger.

Why should your character be in a position to influence an entire country?
Eleanor was raised within the world of diplomacy and was made to sit with her father through court since a young age. Even if she was not going to be the one to inherit the throne her father wanted her to know the inner and outer workings of what it is like to run a kingdom as she would be the one to step in if her father needed to leave the castle to attend to something for a few days while her brother finished his training. The same would be done by her for if her brother had to leave the castle for some time once he took throne. Eleanor was basically trained to be the backup ruler in times of need.

"Watch out!" The brunette called out with a laugh as she watched a ball of snow hit her friend and one of her 'ladies-in-waiting', Selene, in the side of the head. Selene stood in shock for a moment before looking a short ways across the snowy field to where two more of the 'ladies-in-waiting' were standing giggling with snowballs in their hands.

"Did you just!?" Selene stared, half in shock and half smiling at the two before looking back to the princess, the two making eye contact and instantly knowing what the other was thinking. The two girls took off running, stopping when they reached a nice mound of snow they could kneel behind to take cover all the while giggling. They then began to make as many snow balls as they could creating a pile of them.

When the two girls were ready, Eleanor peaked her head over the mound of snow only to have to quickly duck back down as a snow ball flew over her head. The two girls then picked up as many of the snow balls as they could and stood up. The four girls ran at each other throwing the cold balls of powdery snow at each other. They continued just throwing the snow, playing around as their laughter rang out in the field.

Eventually the four of them could be found lying down in the snow, Selene having stumbled and taken Fiona down with her. Then when Eleanor and Lily went to help them up, the two girls in the snow just pulled the other two down to join them. The four were giggling with each other, all of them trying to stop to catch their breath. They would have stayed there for a while if it wasn't for the sound of approaching people.

The girls quickly got up and the three 'ladies-in-waiting' helped the princess fix her attire and hair before bothering with their own. When they finished, they turned and faced who was approaching. Around the bend and towards the castle, which they were out infant of, her father along with his guards and some lords could be seen approaching on horseback.

Eleanor internally cursed herself for forgetting her father was returning today. When the group stopped their horses near the girls and looked to them, the four bowed to the king. "Father," she began as she bowed her head, "I see that you had a good trip." She hoped that it had been a good trip, that way he would be in a good mood.

"The trip was excellent, accept for a few commoners whom we had to remind of their place. We sure did make an example out of them for the others to see didn't we boys." The king let out a hearty chuckle, the rest of his men joining in with the king. "Don't waste too much time out here when you could be doing something more productive." Her father began as the group of men began moving, his cheeriness gone, "Also, remember that you are expected at court later this evening Eleanor." He called over his shoulder.

Eleanor watched her father leave, her stomach churning at the thoughts of what he possibly did to the poor commoners. She closed her eyes and drew a breath in, her smile returning to her face as she turned to the other girls. "Why don't we head inside and get warmed up by the fire with some tea?" The princess suggested, the others agreeing as they headed inside. Eleanor would have to ask Fenros later if he knew what her father did to those commoners, she wanted to figure out a way to fix her father's wrongs. She didn't know how yet, but she would figure something out.

Predominantly an Ectomorph but with Mesmomorph qualities of being able to gain more muscle and retain it.
In other words, Jazz has a bit of a more lean build but with the muscles required for her weapon. Her body mainly being built for swifter movements, gymnastics, aerobatics, and such. She does have muscles though, having lived and worked on a farm her whole life, along with being trained in using a bow and swords (both of which require a certain amount of muscles and strength to be used).

Personality
Jazz is an outgoing person who could careless on the outside what others think about her, although on the inside she has the insecurity like most people do. She also is a very strong-willed, stubborn girl who isn't really willing to back down if you challenge her which can cause her to be reckless at times. On top of that she is what some would call a fireball or feisty, she is not someone you want to really mess with nor do you want to mess with her teammates because she is protective of those she cares for. Jazz enjoys having fun and hates seeing her teammates and friends down so she will typically do something weird or crazy to get them out of their funk, hell she'd even make a fool out of herself if necessary. Jazz is full of confidence so embarrassing herself is something she sees as just another part of the day. Despite coming off as a mainly loud, fun, feisty, confident person she knows when she needs to be serious or when someone may need her sincere, shoulder to cry on side. It may be a slightly awkward side of herself but she can be either of those if necessary.

Backstory
Jazz was born into a small farm community in basically the middle of nowhere. The community was quiet for the most part, except for small things every now and then. You see, the community just kept repeating the same cycle year after year, Jazz being pulled into it with her older brothers and sister when she came to age for it. The only complaint Jazz had was having to do the chores that were deemed to be the chores for the females of the community, so while her brothers got to roughhouse and go chop down trees and hunt, Jazz was stuck washing clothes, washing dishes, feeding the animals, and such. To Jazz, this was unfair and she wasn't going to have any of it. So as she grew older she began acting out and sneaking off during chores to help her older brothers who didn't mind having their sister with them. With them she would roughhouse, get dirty, go hunting, and do all the things her parents and the rest of her small community didn't want her doing.

By the age of 10 though, Jazz's parents gave up on reprimanding her and just let her do as she pleased much to the rest of the communities dismay. Although soon the community could care less about what the girl was doing as they had a new problem... Grimm. Around when Jazz turned 11 Grimm began to frequently attack the farming community, killing the animals, destroying farms, and killing the families of the farms. It caused a dark cloud to settle over the town. Jazz saw the sadness these creatures brought and that only made her more curious about the creatures but her parents wouldn't tell her anything more than she needed to never go outside alone and that it wasn't something Jazz should worry about. But of course, Jazz cared for her family and community so she was instantly worried by her parents' words.

It was a few weeks after the first Grimm attack on the night of a community meeting that Jazz's life changed forever. That night led to her being trained by the retired huntswoman who had helped save her town who also helped her make her weapon. Through the training, she unlocked her semblance and was able to get into an academy. Jazz is now a student at Beacon Academy and ready to begin her adventure with her teammates on the road to becoming Huntsmen and Huntswomen.

The Night that Changed her Life

Jazz had been told to stay home with two of her brothers that were still younger than 18, her older sister, and her brother-in-law and to not leave the house. She knew that night they'd be talking about the Grimm and what the plan was to deal with them and she wanted to know all of it. Jazz was sick of being not told anything, she had only learned the name of the creatures through eavesdropping and if that was how she was going to have to learn the rest of the information, then that's how it was going to go.

Determined Jazz grabbed her handmade hunting bow and arrows, made with her eldest brother's help, and hopped onto one of the family's horses before riding towards the community meeting hall. When she was a good 40ft away and near a good place to tie up her horse she hopped down and tied the horse to a post before sneaking to the open door of the meeting hall. She sat outside, able to hear every word being said. Jazz was able to learn that a group of volunteers was going to fight the Grimm if they were to attack any more farms as the community awaited the arrival of a retired huntress from a few towns over that was going to provide help. That was all Jazz was able to hear before her brother-in-law had her thrown over his shoulder and back to her horse and his who stood side by side waiting for them. They rode back in silence, the annoyance of her brother-in-law clear in the air, the silence was cut short by a scream and a roar from ahead of them.

Both of them rode faster until they reached the family farm in time to see a Grimm knock Jazz's sister into the side of her burning family home. Jazz got off the horse and froze in shock as she watched her brother-in-law run to help his wife and her sister. He seemed to forget about the young girl as he picked up the woman and ran off to get somewhere safe. Jazz watched as a Grimm took off after them and then looked as she heard an animal's cry to see a lamb be killed by another Grimm. Something inside of her snapped and she took her flimsy homemade bow and notched an arrow before shooting the Grimm in the side. The only thing it did was piss off the Grimm and get its attention. The Grimm growled at her and began stalking towards her, Jazz took a few steps back slowly before quickly turning and taking off running as fast as she could knowing the Grimm was in pursuit.

Jazz ran as fast as she could but soon she tripped over a rock on the ground and went down hard. She heard the growl basically above her and she turned to look over her shoulder to see the Grimm above her. Jazz screamed and closed her eyes waiting for whatever end would come only to hear the impact of someone landing on the ground followed by the sound of a blade slicing through something. She slowly opened her eyes to see a woman with a large blade in hand and no more Grimm. The woman gave her a soft smile and helped the girl up not saying anything as she walked the girl to where her parents now were with her other brothers, all watching their family home burn. Her mother quickly wrapped her in a hug and the woman who had saved her ran off to kill more Grimm.

Later that night Jazz overheard her parents and brothers talking to her brother-in-law, they had found out that her sister had just passed and that her other two brothers had died early on in the attack trying to fight off the Grimm. It was also then that her family found out Jazz had run off to the meeting and that was why her brother-in-law was not at the house to help defend the others. She heard words of anger towards her, towards the situation, but multiple times she heard them say that if only she hadn't run off the others would still be alive. For the next hour, the words kept spinning in her head and she made a decision that forever changed her life.

Jazz packed a small bag with some extra clothes, a blanket, a knife, and some food. She wrote a note and left it on her pillow then snuck out the window and ran off to the main part of the community where she went to the community hall. In the hall, they kept all the communities wedding albums from way back when to the most recent. She found her sister's album and found the picture of her and her sister and took it along with a picture of her whole family. Then Jazz left and began to walk in the direction of the town she heard them say the huntress who helped them was from. By pure luck, she stumbled upon the huntress' camp and hid a distance away from it. For the next few days, she followed the huntress until one night the huntress snuck up on her and grabbed her bringing her to the camp. That was the day that the two developed an odd bond and Jazz began a new adventure in life.

Weapon Description
Ebony Shroud is a bow and a pair of twin swords. To transform the weapon the twin swords can be attached together at their hilts. Upon attachment, the blades curve and a bowstring shoots from one tip of a blade to another creating a bow. In a quiver Jazz carries many arrows that she takes the time to put together. The arrows have color coordinated feathers to show which type of dust Jazz has made the arrows with although she only has three of each dust arrow and a lot more normal arrows in her quiver typically. Her quiver also locks her arrows in place so she can easily manuever around without worrying about them falling out until she pulls them out in a specific motion.

Semblance Description
Jazz's semblance completely revolves around her eyes. It seems to be that she has two settings almost to her semblance. The first 'setting', which turns her eyes a bright, glowing yellow, is similar to the microscopic eyes but instead allows her to see things from far away like she is looking through a telescope or a sniper scope. The final 'setting' of her eye semblance is spatial perception. The spatial perception turns her eyes bright, glowing blue and allows her to be able to determine spatial measurements: the dimensions (length, width, and height), distances between objects, shapes and sizes of things, etc. She can also discern how far away something is and the close to the exact measurements of the proportions of an object.

Hello to everyone! This is my revival of the @Qro's roleplay. I still hope he returns but until then I have this so you all are welcome to come join this! Repost your character, rework it, or create a whole new character... whatever you wish to do! Also just so you know I do not have the single rule that Qro did for characters, I don't have whatever plot idea he had in his mind so I don't find it as important for this one.

While they are by no means incorrect, they forget that the most terrible beings, the most wicked creations are the ones that walk among us. We lie and kill in the service of liars and killers, hiding behind whatever moral high-ground we can take. In many ways the Grimm are better than us - they do not kill out of greed, out of hatred, out of vengeance - they simply kill because they can do nothing else.

I have witnessed another heinous act that reinforces this belief, the murder of a mother and her children by an organization known as the "White Fang". While this is not a new group, their actions as of the past few months have taken a drastic turn for the worse. It once again shows that even the most virtuous creations of man, a group simply vying for equality, can be easily corrupted. That is something I am well aware of as I make this decision."

Hello, everyone. In standard RWBY fashion, I'm looking for three other people to fill a team of four. I'm attempting to start up an RP that takes place a few years before the events of Season 1 and will focus on our characters attempting to put an end to the White Fang, criminal organizations such as the ones we see in the show and others before they can truly rise to power. If the RP lasts long enough and our characters are successful enough, we may even put an end to the Fall of Beacon before it can truly begin. It will overall be a slightly dark RP, with violent death and a fair amount of combat. It won't be all doom and gloom, however, there'll still be silly and fun bits and possibly even a bit of roleplay at the Academy itself during the downtime in-between missions if that is of interest to anyone.

Of course those mentioned will know this is a revival in sorts of @Qro's roleplay. I'm still holding out hope for him to possibly show back up but he has been gone for awhile and when he did get online as of recently, there was nothing else noted. I of course hold respect for him as this comes from him originally but I'm hoping together we can move forward and figure out plot arcs and events together as I currently don't have that many ideas.

@Argetlam350 Awesome, I think you could help me as a co-gm! I mean I think in the end everyone chosen will in a way be a co-gm... Just I don't want to be the only one with all the power since we are recreating the rp/reviving the rp. But then again I don't know if it is unfair choosing you as a co-gm over one of the others cause it would guarantee you a spot... I'm a bit torn on that part. I just know I'm going to revive this... I may add a co-gm, maybe not.

Raven eyed the girl for a minute before approaching her and shaking her hand. "Raven Kiroshi." She responded before returning to her bed, sitting down and pulling out one of her swords, unwrapping it and beginning to inspect it for scratches. It took her some time to finally reply to what Diana said.

"I don't mind snack foods as long as you don't mind my swords and lack of socialization and desire to do so." Raven replied as she rewrapped the sword she had inspected and pulled the other one out, doing the same thing for it. After inspecting it she put the swords on her side table before pulling her bed a bit away from the wall. Raven got ready for bed before laying down in the middle of the bed on her stomach, her wings hanging off each side and onto the floor. "Goodnight." She told Diana, before closing her eyes entering the time when spirits she could only hear decided to talk to her in her thoughts, allowing her to talk back without alerting anyone else as it was basically speaking to them through dreams. After her nightly visit from spirits, she entered an empty sleep.
