Hey, I'm interested in this RP. My friend @BlueAjah introduced me, so I'll start working on a character soon.

Carmen Latham
~The Party~

When Carmen saw the cabin, she was amazed. It was beautiful. The antisocial girl grew excited as she began planning what kinds of plants she would grow next to the cabin. It was a nice size, with plenty of windows to let the sunlight in. She could even grow plants inside during the winter! Vines already crawled up the sides of the wooden cabin, making the building seem majestic.

Hearing that she had the place to herself was comforting. With no one living in the same cabin as her, Carmen could have some time alone and adjust to camp more at her own pace. Plus she wouldn't be inconveniencing anyone. However the fact that she had to be a counselor worried her. Hopefully, she didn't have too many responsiblities.

"Thanks for helping me out, Tobias. I'll just start unpacking my things. Hopefully I'll see you around later," She waved him goodbye before stepping into her new home. Carmen truly hoped she had someone to call a friend already. Maybe things wouldn't be so bad after all. The inside was practically barren. All the bedrooms were barren. The red haired girl chose a room at the back of the cabin. It made her feel cozy, and was different from the rest of them. It had more space, and more full length windows. Perfect for an indoor garden and place to read.

The flower girl then began to unpack her many personal items. It would take awhile, but Carmen was feeling motivated, so she didn't mind. First, she organized the essentials of day to day life: Clothes, and her bathroom things. Though, soon her energy wore out. There was still a suitcase and a half to get to, plus her backpack. Sighing, the daughter of Demeter went back to the front of the cabin to poke her head outside. Carmen wasn't sure what the party was all about, but then again, she didn't want to go and find out. Hesitantly, she stepped out onto the front, if only to see the party more clearly. By this time the party had expanded to be close to the new girl's front door. She could continue cleaning out her baggage, but curiosity got the best of her.

Carmen listened intently to what he had to say. She quickly committed the bit of information to memory so as to not make the mistake of being under informed again. She also made a mental note to keep her things safe. The fact that there were campers here who were basically thieves scared her a bit. What other kinds of bad people were here? Would she have to live here constantly watching her back? How did the kids get along here? The shy girl thought back to her previous experience with kids her age. It made her regret leaving her home.

However, the male's demeanor softened a bit as he offered to help her. Carmen gave a tense, but grateful smile. "If it isn't too much trouble." Perhaps this guy wasn't too bad. Maybe he was a nice guy once you got to know him. The pale female sure hoped so. It would be nice to make a friend right off the bat.

The flowery girl picked up her remaining things, struggling a bit at first to keep her grip on it before finally adjusting. For a moment, she didn't know what to say, or how to say it. Finally she spit it out. "My mother is Demeter." She was surprised he got it right. Was it that obvious?

Carmen followed this stranger in awkward silence for a bit before realizing she hasn't even introduced herself yet! Was it too late? She bit her lip nervously, unsure if she should just throw it out there. After all he hasn't introduced himself either. Deciding that since the lack of action was mutual, there was no harm in bringing it up now.

"Um, my name's Carmen Latham by the way," She smiled sheepishly hoping he'd introduce himself as well to avoid any confusion and general uncomfortableness.

Kiran Khanna

The Party

Arianna was already clearly inebriated. Well, then again that was no surprise coming from the daughter of the wine god. Glancing over at the mass of campers drinking as much alcohol as they can physically stomach, Kiran decided that tomorrow, many people were going to be visiting the infirmary for some ibuprofen or Tylenol.

Dreams were very vivid and many time prophetic for demigods. The fact that Kiran was in Arianna's dream was a bit surprising, but it could mean a lot or it could mean absolutely nothing. The sunny girl grinned at her stumbling friend. "That must have been some dream," She joked.

When the DJ started laying on the compliments was when Kiran knew she wanted something. She was a bit suspicious at first, but after being told to simply grab some more alcohol, she relaxed. "Sure no problem," The half Indian girl replied, giggling. She took the empty bottle, nearly dropping it when Arianna dropped it so suddenly.

Kiran stood dumbly as a ridiculous hat was plopped onto her head. She reached up with her free hand to touch it before bursting into giggles. "Thanks Arianna," The amused girl laughed. "I knew something was missing,"

Kiran worked her was around her fellow relatives to reach the nearest alcohol dispenser. The daughter of Apollo didn't drink as often as many of the other campers, and for a valid reason too. She usually only drank during social situations like these, but after social situations like these, there had to be the one to distribute pain relievers. It was kinda funny to the girl who could control light, that it was her handing out drugs to kids who were in pain from the sunlight.

Nonetheless, a little bit of beer never hurt anybody. So after filling her drunken friend's bottle, she grabbed a red solo cup and filled it about halfway full.

As the bubbly girl took a sip of the burning liquid, she spotted Erin along with Jericho and a new kid Kiran hadn't met yet. And while the friendly girl hated not knowing someone, she had a mission to accomplish. Besides it looked like there was a bit of competition over there, and she didn't want to walk in on that.

Carefully, Kiran weaved her way through the crowd occasionally stopping to wave at someone or say "Hi,". When she finally returned to her party loving friend, a little bit of beer had spilt onto her clothes. Sighing, Kiran ignored it. There was nothing she could do at the moment, but when she got the chance, she'd have to change. The alcohol smelling girl nudged her friend to grab her attention. Then she held out the beer filled bottle to be taken.

Just as Carmen was leaving, a voice called out to her. She jumped, startled. The voice sounded annoyed. Did she already piss someone off?

The lost girl slowly turned around to reveal a taller male who looked as if he could knock a few of her teeth out. Now that she thought of it, many campers looked as if they were involved in a year long sport of some kind. Was there mandatory exercise? Carmen prayed there wasn't.

"Um, sorry. I wasn't really thinking about that," She returned to her suitcases, standing on the other side from where the intimidating camper stood. That way, if anything went wrong, there was a barrier.

"Uh, I'm new here, so I if you could help me I would be very grateful. Also, this may sound like a stupid question, but who are "The Hermes kids"?" Carmen gave a sheepish smile to the stranger.

Inside she was screaming. Why did she ask such a stupid question like that? She definitely should have looked up more about Greek mythology. But it's not as if she had the time to. Soon after explaining Carmen's heritage, her relatives had shipped her off to find this "Camp Half Blood".

Originally her father was going to tell Carmen, but things didn't go according to plan. Simply the thought of her father's fate pulled at the girl's heart strings. Carmen's aunt and grandmother only knew who her mother was, and that this camp existed to help demigods like her survive. Now she was standing like a fool in front of someone she didn't know, asking questions that were surely commonly known amongst the campers. Carmen wondered how she was going to survive in this place.

The Infirmary, The Party

A sigh escaped her lips. Archer was gone before she could tell him that bandaging his ribs was probably not a good idea. It would most likely turn out okay in the end though. If he wasn't coughing, then there wasn't any fluid in his lungs. Besides he was going to "the party" which was most likely thrown by Ky'vie. Kiran could keep an eye on him there.

Speaking of parties, Arianna was definitely going to be there. It's probably best if the half Indian female took the medication with her. She checked with her sibling to make sure she had a hold of everything before heading out to the party with the bottle of pills.

As soon as Kiran exited the building, she spotted a huge mass of campers crowding around the Hephaestus cabin. The music was blaring loud enough to blanket the whole camp in it's sound. As spontaneous and wild as the party girl could be, Kiran didn't deny that her taste in music was great for setting the mood.

As the bright girl drew closer to the DJ, she could feel the bass under her feet. The vibrations crawled up her legs until it resonated in her chest. Kiran couldn't help but smile. She finally reached the music girl of the night. The sound was nearly deafening, but Kiran got as close to Arianna's ear as she could.

"I brought your medicine," She practically screamed. In case she didn't hear, the medicine girl pulled out the bottle and pushed it into Arianna's hand.

Carmen Latham
~Half-Blood Hill~

The view around Carmen was fuzzy. Her brain couldn't concentrate on the scenery that passed her by, despite the beautiful greenery that fought for her attention. Every once in awhile her eyelids would close, only to be jerked open by the nervousness that was seeded within her. A new place, new people, and nothing to help her ease in. This was going to be a nightmare. The redhead didn't know if it was acceptable to simply walk into the camp. Probably not. After all, it had to be fairly orginized right? However, on the journey here, she wasn't able to find the "Delphi Strawberry Service" in the phone book. Maybe that was her own fault, though. What if she just didn't look hard enough? Would the head of the camp get mad at her?

It was in the middle of this circuitous thought process that the man she hitched a ride from shook her shoulder to grab her attention. "Hey, girly. This is as close as I get to that Strawberry Service place. I'd recommend you get off here and walk the rest of the way." Startled, Carmen's back shot straight up. It probably wasn't the best idea to hitchhike, but she didn't have much money. "Thank you so much," She said instinctively, as she gathered her 3 suitcases and backpack. It was a lot of things, but it was basically her life. "Um, if you don't mind, which direction should I go to find the Strawberry place?" Carmen asked. Even as the driver responded, she was mentally kicking herself in the head. 'He probably thinks I'm stupid now. "Which direction should I go?" If I had been paying attention, I would have known!' "Delphi Strawberry Service is about a couple miles from here in that general direction." He waved towards a more secluded road. "Thanks, I appreciate your kindness," She squeaked, before rushing away from the conversation.

Her baggage was quite heavy, and Carmen wasn't one for exercising, making her journey slow and difficult. She had to take a couple of breaks before she finally arrived at what looked like an entrance to somewhere. A large pine tree stood next to the entrance as if judging her for approaching. The soft spoken girl bit her lower lip, a bad habit of hers. As Carmen reached the top of the hill, an amazing sight was displayed for her. It was almost as if an entire world had been created in this small area in the woods. She could even see the sea from her vantage point. She was soon startled from her trance when she heard music blaring from some where. Instantly her eyes were drawn the the crowd of people partying around some cabins. Unfortunately, the shy girl needed to ask for help, and she couldn't see any other campers around, so she headed towards the large crowd.

Her hands started to shake as she looked into the mob of people. Carmen stood at the edge of all the action, bags in hand, most likely looking like a fool. She could taste blood in her mouth, she was biting her lip so hard. Now came the hard part, who to ask? She had to choose wisely otherwise something bad could happen. Carmen really didn't want to create drama on her first day. What if they thought she was annoying? Or what if they laughed at her? The shy girl's hands fidgeted as she tried to calm herself down. What would she even ask? 'Hey, I'm new here, what the fuck do I do?' Warm, wet pressure pushed on the back of Carmen's eyes. Was she really going to do this now?

Finally after calming herself down, she left her things and went into the crowd to find someone. Not exactly the best choice she's made in her life.
I'm here
Read
Carmen is more of a family person, and a follower, so yes at first she wil be quite introverted, but I think that BECAUSE she is a follower and because there are many outgoing personalities in this roleplay, that she will quickly adapt to the surrounding atmosphere. She will quickly realize that the people at camp are family. Once she realizes that, she will interact with them like she does with her mortal family.

As for her weapon, her mortal famiy doesn't know much about camp half blood. Only that it exist and is the best place for Carmen to live. Her current weapon is only for getting her to camp. Once there she'll probably have to talk to Ky'vie about making a weapon similar out of Celestial Bronze.

I hope that clears everything up.
