As Chief of Engineering I thought I would make a mock up of Main Engineering since I have the free time and it would serve as a good reference for me and Dizzy as we'll be spending a lot of time there. I'll put it up here once I'm done with it. I could do some simple plans for other places like the bridge too if you'd like Knight. Sorry that I haven't done my character sheet, homework and being sick were in my way. But now I'm back.

It's quite alright. I'm dealing with some education difficulties as well. Though I am now finished and free for the weekend.

It's pretty much anything that ends you up in the hangar at this point. Maybe your character is cleaning his favorite gun or something when the announcement comes on and he gears up. This would possibly give us some information on what sort of soldier he is, etc.

Everyone is inside the ship when commands are issued so you would be able to hear them. If you are outside the ship's hull you would have some form of long range communication attached to your space suit.

The Vigilance uses a simple loudspeaker system to issue commands on deck. It's simple, effective and with new technology they can easily broadcast messages to every inch of the ship.

One thing to note, since this was brought up before (by Latino, I believe.) Is that while on the ship, the Admiral is addressed to and referred to as Captain. However if you are going to say her name, it would be Admiral Chevalier not Captain Chevalier. She would be referred to as Admiral at all times when she is not on the ship, which will be almost never.

I'll add the new characters up to the list. Unfortunately I'm swamped with essays today and will not be able to continue the plot until I get back. For those of you who have not posted yet, you should do so now.

Looks golden. As for rank I would probably see Jinayah as an E-4 Petty Officer Third Class. She comes from a rather troubled background and because she enlisted she did not attend an officer training program or officer academy. However her skill in mechanics requires her to be paid more than some of the other non-combat personnel (such as cooks). She would not have a very high rank in the NCO department due to her lack of military deployment. You will probably need to work frequently under LCDR Delilah D. Delores as she is the head mechanic of the ship.

The lowest naval officer rank that will allow you to fly in the US Navy is [O-1] Ensign, as you are required to have a degree and an officer's commission through an officer's school. The Federation has the same qualifications to fly, especially for pilots that are flying the new HI-10 Whirlwinds.

Looks good other than two small details.

1. Senior Airman is not the correct rank. An E-4 in the Navy would be a Petty Officer Third Class. (We're going by US Navy ranks here, not Airforce.)

2. You need to be an officer to fly.

The IC is now up. For those of you who do not know what is going on or what to do, please allow me to explain briefly.

The Vigilance has been docked at the Space Fortress "Auroria" as it makes final preparations for its first journey. If you don't know what to do, you are somewhere on this Space Fortress, doing something when you are called to board the ship. Your post should end with your character in the hanger bay with the rest of the crew.
