Gregory looked up at the behemoth with two parts of surprise: One was because anyone chose to join the half orc at the table. The second was that the one who sat with him was actually taller than him by nearly a foot sitting with those horns on his head; and three times as wide in the shoulders. The tusked once smiled broadly and gestured to the already taken seat as he now had company befoe nodding to the small furred one who offered a round. "Fortune favors us all, one buying rounds and a titan with a kings thirst. Come, small one, join us!"

" 'Ere now, mind the wood ya big galoot!" Came the warning wail of a well worn woman as she slapped a rag at him futilely. She was clearly the waitress and most likely the cooks wife, although she looked like the cooks grandmother but tried to dress like the cooks daughter. All in all not a pleasing image unless you have very specific tastes or very low standards. The chair screeched in protest to the callous treatment which became a crackling groan of effort to support the mass. Even black walnut has its limits.
Name:
Gegory Greyrose
Title/Nickname:
Lord
Age:
24
Gender:
Male
Race:
half-Orc
Profession:
Wealthy lord looking for experience rather than riches
Trope/Archetype:
Often mistaken for a necromancer, he is actually the charmer.
Appearance:
6'6" and 150 lbs, he is a willowy thing compared to most.

Equipment:
After being cut-off, the only thing he was allowed to take with him is a scepter fitted with dragons teeth which he uses to focus his magic for greater power. Otherwise he has his fine quality clothing and the horse he rode in on sidesaddle.
Background:
Being a half-orc in a human land is difficult to say the least, being the bastard son of a noble is even harder. His mother was Lady Greyrose, former knight of the silver wheel order. His father was an orc warrior who fought alongside her order to stem back a giant invasion. One night of far too much vidali (onion wine) to drink she had a moment of weakness and nine months later her son was born.
He was an ugly baby and lady greyrose was reluctant to nurse him with those tusks of his already in his mouth when he was born, not unlike a wild boar. As much as she might blame his orc father, in truth, the real darkness comes from the greyrose family line.
Lord Archibald Grey, Grgory's great grandfather, was given his title for his services to the crown in the great war of his time against a vampire coven from the black forest. He had suffered a bite to his leg in that time and was doing all he could to keep the change at bay. He drank only holy water and prayed in the church for three months before he changed. During that time, he fell into passion with a nun in the church and married her properly before he became a monster. Their wedding night, lady grey's father, Gregorio was conceived and Lord Grey turned to ash with the morning light.
That undead bloodline would manifest itself many years later as the boy was surrounded by strange happenings, things falling from shelves and an unnatural amount of dead animals on the property. Lady greyrose sent for specialists of arcane and divine to see if they were besieged by ghosts or the like; what they came back with is that Gregory was a sorcerer, a type of mage that did not study dusty old tomes but drew on his own natural arcane talents. Not being something he could be taught, it made the random happenings even more stressful as he came into his own over the years.
In order to keep his mother happy, he tried to focus on making her happy, magically. His powers focused on manifesting charms and enchantments. As well intended as it was, when Lady grey discovered his magical focus could lead to the speculation that he could manipulate her into doing his bidding, she chose to exile him for one year so that he could adventure to gain real experience far away from her.
Pros:
Placating: he is silver tongue into telling people what they want to hear even without magic,
Magic: Focused on enchantment and charm spells (friendship, sleep, flaming weapon)
Undead heritage: Being the great grandson of a vampire, his magic can effect undead as well (usually undead are either too mindless or caught up in their own ordeals to be a valid target)
Cons:
Sycophant: He is a bit submissive to help others, lacking self-confidence even with his powerful will to manifest magic. The easeist way to break him is to make him question himself and others.
Squishy: Most mages are glass cannons, fragile yet devastating, but he is more like a fireworks display with his most harmful spells causing an enemy to fall fast asleep in the middle of combat for someone else to finish off.
Has this been explored somewhere? I like it.

Old school D&D stuff. Most of the vampire lore we have like the 'horde of rats' was made up by Bram Stroker on the fly for creep factor.
I was using the drinking of holy water and prayer in church like an ICU for magical disease. Basically each day spent fasting in church in prayer and fasting allows for a new chance to resist the transformation.

Name:
Richard(Rick) Augustus Richardson

Alias:
Brick

Position: (if you are a teacher, please state what you teach. if you are a student, what grade are you in?)

Abilities/powers:
Mineral Absorption: The basis of his powers. He has the ability to touch an inorganic material and absorb it into the first layers of his skin, requiring a MINIMUM of 10 lbs of material. For 'full immersion' of his internal organs and the like; it requires a minimum of 100 lbs of material to absorb. Note, the absorption process draws from the available materials, taking it from the environment can put holes in walls or weaken structures.

Mineral transformation: When absorbed, he can manipulate the surrounding mineral of the same kind. In example: After absorbing asphalt, he can make asphalt spikes shoot up out of the street but The limit is the mass around available to manipulate with the same risk of structural damage.

Superhuman Endurance: When he absorbs the materials, it provides him a greatly strengthened physical endurance to withstand blows that would normally hurt, harm, or maim his normal self. If he absorbs enough material, he can be immune to flames, drowning or crushing weight like colossus.

Mineral Phasing: Similar to his transformation, after absorbing the material, he can 'sink' into the material he is part of. Such as to pass through a brick wall or sink down into the concrete floor of a parking garage to evade attacks. The evidence of his passing is clearly visible and easy to track.

He's a very protective of those he call friends, which is a hard hurdle for him to get over at the moment. Whilst the bravery of a firefighter to stand up to danger, he is now pyrophobic and will 'turtle up'. He played baseball for 4 years so he is a good team player that can follow a leaders orders, he himself seems to lack the knack of leadership but perhaps that is something merely needing to be unlocked.

Special Skills:
Fire safety and firefighting techniques, he can drive emergency equipment. Varsity baseball kept him an agile runner as well as a great swinging arm

Place of birth:
Richardson, Tx

Weapon(s) of choice:
Firefighter Ax. Steel bat.

Medical information:
PTSD, Pyrophobic

Brief History:
He was supposed to be the fourth generation of police officers, but he watched how much the others in the family would worry every time the news spoke of a wounded or fallen officer, so he chose to become a fire-fighter instead. He felt it was a less dangerous way to save people's lives. He joined the junior firefighters and did his best to graduate quickly.

He had a girl on his arm, a Letterman jacket from JV and Varsity football, a car he could borrow at a moment notice, and the trust of his family. It wasn't some heroic moment, it wasn't some heinous crime. It just happened...

He was in church already not feeling too good, everything felt heavy and sluggish like he was wading through water. It was a hundred and hell outside so no one saw his fever coming when he ran out side to throw up and collapsed behind the abbey onto the cement floor. That was when his first manifestation occurred, someone came to see if he was alright but suddenly ran for cover as his skin turned grey as a storm cloud. No, clouds, Concrete. He was turning to stone right before their eyes as it crawled up his skin, tearing his clothes as he grew in size. But it didn't stop with just his skin as juts of rock shoved out of his body until he was cocooned inside of a boulder sitting in a crater.

A moment later the rock shattered and he emerged back to normal. But the damage had been done, someone had seen him change. Thankfully, it was of his brothers from the firehouse who swore to help keep a lid on it while he figured it out back at their home. He spent the next couple of days trying to understand who and what, the best he could figure out is that if he touched rock, he became rock...sometimes.

He tried to use his gift as best he could to try and be a better firefighter He would often touch the ground like a good luck charm before going into the building, turning into stone under all of his firefighting gear. Unfortunately this did increase his mass significantly enough that he fell through a weakened floor into the basement of a house, which made it it collapse as the structure was compromised, pinning him and the only other person who knew his secret.

Rick had to lay there, immune to the fire and the crushing weight of wood as his friend screamed and cried for his mother for minutes on end until he died in the fire. As far as anyone knew, both died that day.

Rick awoke later that day in the back of a truck, on his way to a place where he can learn to hone his powers.

Third generation army brat, his grandfather was in world war two, his dad was in veitnam and he was in desert storm. While over there his transport hit an IED and flipped, pinning his arm in place and the flames melted away a portion of his face and eye. they had to amputate his arm to save his life. I'm working on a GM post, but I'll refrain from posting it for the Bridgerat Infestation Quest to give everyone more time. If no one rescues the boy, then he will be dead on my next GM post, and there will be consequences later.

I'm wokng on it! :p I need to see if the other can use her rope shot to rescue him, if not then the tiefling is going to go through the bilding and hope his infernal heritage leeps the flames off of him enough to rescue the boy, even if he has to set the kid as the subject to his 'guard' ability to take the fire damage for him.
We are Primary Egoes, one psyche controlling the other three. :D
Those three amalgamated souls are inside you, controlled by the Primary Ego.

So we ARE amalgamating all three souls, abilities, ect into one character, not swapping in and out like ben 10?
"I give you a new set of keys every year right after I change the locks. You're just mad you keep loosing them."

He would have rather had the chance to get a shower first, but he learned long ago not to get in the way of women and their food. So, still stinking of the grave, he slipped himself into the backseat of the car with the door still open and tried REALLY HARD not to judge about the nearly empty bottle of alcohol in the backseat with him. ~Damn fool would get herself arrested for sure if I wasn't here. Just what I would need, driving out to prison every week to visit her instead of her coming across town to mooch. I'd have to sell the farm for bail and fines.~

When Vicky slipped into the house to get her shoes, he took the bottle and unscrewed the cap before discreetly pouring it out as she came back out during the unwrapping of her gift. When she lunged for Mo, he flicked his wrist and sent the bottle flying far and away from them or the sheriff before closing his door.

"Very sweet, lets get going and you can gush all about it at the diner while waiting for food to get cooked."
