@Blight Bug

The skip is only to the end of the tourney, so you can still get a few posts in for the day afterwards. I just want to put something in to give this current arc, which I feel dragged on for way too long, a bit of closure. The duel against the Phantom would get the same treatment though, yeah.

You guys all hang tight. I know I said I don't want to rush anybody but I also don't want to hold up the RP for one person. I don't want it to come to this because it's GM fiat which I don't like to pull, but to expedite things; I can decide a winner out of the remaining players, which would be the mall trio and Hattori; move the game along, so everybody can have a bit of character developing time after the battle royale; and we can skip to the next day; meanwhile the mall duel can still continue for consistency's sake, and the winner of that can challenge Menhir's character. This is, of course, only if everybody is okay with it. If anybody has a better solution, please feel free to run it by me.

Your partner seems to be troubled and I'm trying to help him out. My apologies if the next reply takes a little too long.

@GarlandDaHero

They're close enough to talk to one another, but far enough away that another motorcycle could skid between them without hitting either.
@GarlandDaHero

That was an oversight on my part. Edited.
Oh. Alright. Edited so my guy doesn't get the lifepoint gain.
The edit was to pay for the cost of Caesar Ragnarok's effect. I also changed targets for the final attack.

Martin nodded as the girl who seemed previously meek suddenly did something he deemed... a little cringe-y. He looked, eyebrows quirked, but didn't seem to react much to his monsters being destroyed, though a decent chunk had been taken out of his life points. Before Martin could draw a card, Rumi activated Madolche lesson, allowing her to return a single monster from her graveyard to her deck, increasing the attack value of her monsters by 800. Then, a monster was special summoned onto her field, Madolche Puddingcess. Silently, when Martin's turn came, he drew a card. Two thousand life points were painstakingly subtracted by his Dark Contracts.

"I'll set D/D Savant Kepler from my hand onto the pendulum scale." he declared, the mechanical humanoid appeared, a number 10 glowing underneath it. "Next..." Martin said hesitantly... "Pendulum Summon...? From my extra deck, D/D/D Oblivion King Abyss Ragnarok times two. Next, its effect activates, but only once. Be revived, D/D/D Flame King Genghis. Abyss Ragnarok's other effect activates. I'll tribute D/D/D Oblivion King Abyss Ragnarok, then target one monster, banishing it. I'll choose Madolche Puddingcess Chocolat-a-la-Mode. Next, I'll use Dark Contract with the Gate. D/D Vice Typhon is added to my hand. Next, I'll activate Dark Contract with the Swamp King... D/D/D Oblivion King Abyss Ragnarok and D/D Vice Typhon, Fusion Summon! Here. Level 8 D/D/D Dragonbane King Beowulf. Flame King Genghis's effect activates! Be revived, D/D/D Wave Oblivion King Caesar Ragnarok! Next, I'll activate the effect of D/D Vice Typhon in my graveyard, banishing itself and D/D Berfomet. Fusion Summon! D/D/D Oracle King D'arc." One by one, monsters returned to Martin's field.

Martin pointed at Matt's Gambler of Legend, his Flame King Genghis being swift in destroying it. He pointed again. Caesar Ragnarok glowed a deep blue color, at which Martin pointed at Madolche Queen Tiaramisu.

Before he could take hold, however, a trap card was activated: Madolche Nights. Martin grimaced, knowing something like that would happen. Then, its second effect activated, and Martin had to discard a card. That was D.D. Trap Hole. Regardless, it took a swing at Matt. As a cost, Kepler was once again returned to the hand. This was followed by Martin's D'arc with a direct attack against Matt. The final attack was Beowulf against Lua's face-down (you choose).

The officer's duel runner started steaming and the cigarette fell out of his mouth. The duel runner fell on its side onto the road, the officer motionless. Then, as his body hit the ground, mechanical parts appeared underneath his clothing, before the duel runner and the officer both exploded.

"You're strong, I'll give you that. But let's see if you have the makings of a Phantom." Ryunosuke boasted. "My turn. Draw!"

"You won't be able to give too much with the paltry amount of life points you currently have. You certainly wouldn't be a very challenging opponent... From my hand, I'll activate the Speed Spell - Upstart Goblin! I can grant you 1000 life points, and in exchange, I can draw a card. Next I'll activate the Speed Spell - Count Up! I'll discard two cards from my hand and gain 3 speed counters for each, putting me at 8. Now. I'll activate the effect of the Vampire Sorcerer I discarded to my graveyard! By banishing it, I can normal summon a Vampire without tributing. Come to me, my loyal servant, Vampire Duke!" Ryunosuke slammed the card onto the field as virtual bats flew in front of his motorcycle, becoming a spooky vampire, cape waving in the wind. It closed its came, then out of it stepped another vampire, Vampire Lord.

"Beings of the night converge and construct the overlay network! The ultimate vampire champion! Take up arms and vanquish my opponent! Behold, rank 5 Crimson Knight Vampire - Bram!" the two vampires disappeared once again, transforming into vampire bats before changing into purple flashes of light as a spiral shape formed in front of Ryunosuke, the two monsters swirling into it. The thing turned blood red, and out of it emerged a pale humanoid figure with flowing blonde hair. In one hand, it held an overwhelmingly large sword; in the other hand, an equally overwhelming shield. Orbiting around it were glowing spheres of purple light. Bram stretched itself out casually, before turning to glare at the Ghoulish Rider.

"Bram's effect activates," the monster slashed one of the purple spheres orbiting it, "I will detach 1 xyz material, then target 1 monster in your graveyard, special summoning it on my side of the field. Your Summoned Skull is now mine's! Battle! Summoned Skull, attack his face down!"
Recalculating after soul absorption, there was actually one more digit's worth of lifepoints than Martin actually had. His real lifepoint total by the end of Lua's turn is actually 25300.
@GarlandDaHero

Well I mean it is an island so you're not wrong. But that island is the main island of Japan.
@GarlandDaHero

It's not an island though. I wrote that most of the students were bussed in from Tokyo Airport.

I'm trying to make the fight in the mall go as quick as possible but at the same time I don't want to rush posts out. Please bare with me. I want to get decisive results first before declaring a winner of the tourney.

@manapool1@Satoshi Kyou@Eklispe

Please don't feel rushed, but this past arc has dragged on far longer than I expected. I can help you make stronger turns/suggest a course of action that could expedite posting if that would be helpful. If there are other ways in which I can help, please tell me.
