The following morning, Jossie found herself awoken by both the feel of someone's hands on her butt and lips on her own. Shifting a bit, she let out a small groan before speaking, "That's my butt you know... and holy hell does my head hurt," she grumbled, burying her face in Adrian's neck and nibbling at it. Having never had alcohol before, she had not expected the rather aggressive headache she was experiencing, which made her regret the fact that she had accepted nearly every shot the guys had gotten for her.
"Never again," she groaned, "There has to be a way to avoid such a thing..."
Adrian looked around the suddenly slightly messier than usual room, and surveyed the damage their drunken shensnigans had done. Although the lights were off, a bright shaft of morning light penetrated the room, the club-owner pulled up the covers and kissed Joslyn's feverish forhead to ease his companion's protests.
"Better?" He asked, vaguely remembering how bright lights bothered Joslyn even when she was sober.
"Mmmm..." She murmured, moving her face from his neck to his chest, "Uh... did we... My clothes are gone... Oh..." Jossie felt her face heat up as she glanced down and noticed that Adrian wasn't exactly decent himself. However, she wasn't exactly inclined to move from where she was because she was comfortable.
"So... uh... we never cleaned the bar," she pointed out, "We should probably do that before the place opens in a few hours right?"
Adrian sighed as Joslyn talked about work, when they weren't working, in a building they were supposed to work together in.
"You're probably hungry." He guessed, while stroking her hair back, "How 'bout I fix up something for us to eat while you go clean up the damage the kids did out there."
Peeking a few glances out from under the covers, he managed to eventually snag most of their clothes with his toe and bring them into their little comfort-haven, although putting their clothes on quickly became an interesting chore.
Joslyn did her best to try to get dressed, only to find herself relatively tangled with Adrian. The fact that they were having such problems made her giggle and she eventually just stopped what she was doing. "This isn't working very well is it?" she asked as she peered up at him from under the covers, "I am pretty sure I got one of your legs in my own pants..."
She leaned up a bit and gave Adrian a light kiss before poking her head out of the covers for a moment, only to yelp and dive back under. Now she was stuck with her inability to really see since the sun had decided to wreak havoc on her retinas. "I made a mistake!"
Adrian moved to close the blinds, but was too late. Joslyn had blinded herself. He rushed over to her side, straining to look her inthe eyes in the dark, as though he could tell just by looking whether or not it was pemenant. At least he wanted to think he could, as he tried to calm her back down with a flurry of kisses and long string of re-assurances that she'd be fine in a few more minutes. But probably the most re-assuring thing he'd done was proving to her that he wasn't going to leave until he was sure she would be fine.
Joslyn was shocked by his want to stay with her until she could see again, which thankfully only took a few minutes. "I uh..." she mumbled, "I... thank you... I'm not used to people waiting for me to be able to see, actually, I'm usually alone for that." She leaned forward and pressed her lips against his in a soft kiss to show her appreciation despite the literal day the two knew each other for.
He returned the kiss in-kind, of course. Adrian leaned back as the little assassin leaned forwards, letting her have her fun while he had his. But as they kissed, they could hear noises coming from the bar.
"We should probably get dressed, and check back on the bar." The owner stated, before giving her another, last-second kiss, "We can continue this later."
The waitress glanced off to the side for a moment before she offered up a shy smile, "I would think no one would be here so early," she muttered before she finished pulling on her clothing, "We need to go shopping, you promised... so after we get the bar situated could you bring me to get some clothing or will they be ordered?"
Fixing the shirt, she turned and watched Adrian with a curious look before she simply flopped back on the bed and groaned. "I really don't want to do anything... why are people still here?"
"Sometimes they refuse to leave, thankfully the locks to the back-rooms are sturdy enough." He replied, offering his hand to get the young waitress back to her feet. "As for clothes, I may have some stored upstairs, but we'd probably also need to shop for clothes anyways... but in the meantime..." He gave a slight grin as he looked away and towards the door. "I'll prepare food if you'll go check on our guests sleeping-off their drinks on one of our bar-room tables."
She nodded her head before walking out of the back room and into the bars. Spotting Miro, the female walked up to him and started to poke the male repeatedly in the side. "Come on ya butt," she said, continuing to poke him, "Bar is closed, I need to clean up and you should probably go find a certain someone who has the same name as me now shouldn't you?"
@AtomicNut I like this one :D I am really really sorry for forgetting to mention such a thing, that is completely on me and I do appreciate you working around that. If you give me until tomorrow, I will let you know if you are clear to post in the Character tab ^.^
@AtomicNut So... I should have put it in the rules, but Dragons are off the table for this due to the fact they tend to be rather OP. HOWEVER, we are allowing humanoids with Draconic characteristics. I.E wings, tail... horns... I have one I am working on that is like that. Something similar to this.
Height: 5’9” Race: Aaenshi Gender: Female Occupation: First Elder Location: North End A Brief History: Born to a small clan, Azura was never happy with her low position in the hierarchy and eventually forced her way to the top. A skilled warrior, she defended her title as ‘Alpha’ with ease, never bowing down to any male or female that dared challenge her, but rather took them head on and destroyed them. Her ruling over her clan lasted until she was 150 years of age before she decided she wanted more than what she had been given.
Mind made up, she traveled to the city of Enigma, a place where she worked just as hard over the next 25 years to gain access to the North End, easily passing any and all tests they threw her way. Despite her rise in status however, she continued to visit a small book shop she had grown to like in the West End run by a Harpy and what appeared to be her Servant, a half elf Drow. When she left the West End, she had told them that she would continue to return to their shop to go through their selection in search of rare titles, a word she kept over the years, even after she had become an Elder.
Other: Aaenshi are different. Very, very different as they nearly always have two sides to them, usually a more neutral side, and a side that only seeks to destroy. Aaenshi are always trying to wrest control of themselves, and have a high sense of logic. Since they live a very long time, Aaenshi often are deeply tortured, always fighting between remaining neutral and acting on the one fatal flaw their creator bestowed upon them… the desire to kill.
Personality: Alicia is typically Sarcastic or completely serious, sometimes it can be hard to tell. If she does not know someone, she keeps her words short and clipped, not wanting to waste any more time with them than she must. The only person she ever shows any semblance of kindness to those that she may call friend, giving advice when asked and distributing punishment when told, though people like that are few and far between. More often than not, she is cruel and enjoys watching as others are tortured or killed in the slowest manner possible either by her, or in front of her.
Appearance:
Details
Body build: Athletic
Hair: Hip Length
Hair color: Red
Skin color: Pale
Eye/Iris color: Honey
Height/Weight: 5’8 - 150lbs
Notable Features: Scar over her left eye
Clothing Description: Other than the clothing in the photo, Alicia enjoys wearing black leather pants and a Leather half-jacket with a fur hood, her chest covered by nothing but bandages. As she rather not sacrifice comfort, she alternates between wearing a pair of black sneakers or a pair of black shit kickers depending on how she is feeling that day.
Alicia can create, shape and manipulate air, the common name given to the layer of atmospheric gases and various compounds (mostly oxygen and nitrogen) surrounding the planet Earth that is retained by Earth's gravity, and wind, movement of air relative to the surface of the planet. It is an important factor in determining and controlling climate and weather, and the generating force of most ocean and freshwater waves. Wind occurs because of horizontal and vertical differences in atmospheric pressure, and include breezes, squalls, gusts, whirlwinds, zephyrs, gales, tempests, and hurricanes.
Since air cannot be seen by conventional methods, neither can the attacks and derivatives formed by/from it, making it an invisible and versatile weapon that is very difficult to block and dodge. HOWEVER, the more power she uses and the more often that she uses it within a day, the more tired she becomes. Her power tends to take a toll on her body and if she pushes herself too far, she could die.
History Having grown up in a Patriarch home, Alicia was used to her brothers always getting what they wanted as she rarely got what she needed. When it came to the home schooling that her race had as a requirement once they became of age, her brothers always got the best teachers, while the women were only allowed to know the basics of Wind magic. More often then not, Women were only taught how to use the healing properties, and she was placed under the same requirement, though she always studied in secret.
She was caught one night with one of her brother's study books at the age of eight by her father and was beaten severly for her clear defiance of the rules he had set down. Though she was clearly afraid to be beaten again, Alicia never stopped studying and never stopped practicing the type of magic she truly wanted to do, no matter what her father said or did. Eventually, seeing that he would never be able to sway her or even physically stop her from learning as she wanted, he allowed her to attend the same 'classes' as her brothers.
At the age of nine, Alicia experienced her first shift, which was a miracle all on its own, as the average Shifter does not experience his/her first shift until their mid-teens. Seeing that she had potential, Alicia's father began to train her himself, which included both fighting and magic. As the years went on, it became apparent that Alicia was a rare form of Shifter, as she was able to create multiple pacts with animal spirits, allowing her to shift into many other animals.
Eventually, Alicia snapped and ended up killing her father for all the abuse that he had put her through and left her home, no longer wanting anything to do with them. No one tried to stop her, her mother cursed her and her brothers were terrified of her, but she just could not bring herself to care.
Imma just... bump this >.> ALSO @TheMinorFall@Melo@Landaus Five-One@Kangaroo@SleepingSilence@shylarah please put your Characters in the Character tab... the CS template (I.E Name, Age... etc.) should match the color of the alliance you have chosen. Also, please add alliance below occupation but above History.. K thanks <3
It was discussed and decided against for the same reason GMs cannot delete posts. The power may be easily abused, and moderators are utilized instead to hide threads.
I can understand that ^.^ I just figured I would ask :D
