Selena looked up as Tokiko arrived to her table. She had a bowl of miso, white rice, and katsu don, along with a mochi ice cream.

"Sure, sit wherever you like."

She pulled her food in a bit closer and turned down her music as her earphones that had been hanging around her neck. Gesturing with her chopsticks over to Tokiko's meal, she smiled a little.

"Those are cute apple bunnies."

She chuckled, brushing her braid out of her face before taking another bite of jer pork. She missed home cooked meals. Getting a little lost in thought, she remembered her question from earlied in class and decided to continue the conversation, adding some idle chat about music and snack choices.

~~ At the Arena~~

Selena adjusted her gloves and squeezed her hands into fists, curious about breaking in the material so it be more flexible. Her hero outfit consisted of everything she originally asked for, though she was a bit self conscious about how short her shorts were, as well as how deep the v neck of her top was. Thankful that the sleeveless trenchcoat had buttons, she buttoned the middle three, adding an extra inch of fabric before tuning in again to what Gang Orca was saying.

She wondered how much damage they were allowed to cause before Yin took off like a bullet.

Running off, she decided to button her trenchcoat up so it would hide her mouth, making it harder to see her lips moving as she softly summoned a very large robotic cat to ride, though it greatly resembled a giant sabertooth.

Holding onto it, the sabertooth jumped onto the nearest robot, it's teeth digging into the head to disable the camera system as she created a carbon shield around her to avoid scattered pieces of metal. The crunching sound of metal hid her whispers as she molded her body to the top of the cat, the sensors recognizing her movements to a degree in her muscles.

She was thankful for her love of movies, as she modeled the robotic cat after her favorite movie involving Godzilla like creatures and mecha that operated using a system reliant on a human controlling it.

"Crap!"

She yelled as another dropped onto her back. Muttering as quickly as she could, she changed the mech to a humanoid form, using the twisting of the rearranging metal to try and throw it off of her without squashing a classmate.

"I freaking HATE SPIDERS!!!"
Selena watched as the rest of her classmates introduced themselves and their quirks. Quite a few of them were interesting and others actually caused her to raise her eyebrow. Now she was glad she had come here! She actually felt a small twinge when Kazama introduced himself. She understood the struggle he was having. After all, her mother's side of the family were primarily villains. The only reason it wasn't obvious yet was because of the different last names.

Raising an eyebrow at Tokiko's ability, she raised her hand before turning to look at the other girl.

"Chronos-san, with your quirk, do you only see the immediate future or those with the highest likelihood of coming to fruition?"
Sitting up as Gang Orca explained what they would be doing, as well as the expectations the school held for them as students, Selena silently glanced around the room. She listened intently to him as he explained how creative he could be with his punishments.

"Nice."

She whispered to herself as she watched her classmate explain her quirk and demonstrate it. She could see how it could be hard to maintain the shield given that it relied heavily on Alexa holding her breath. That would be difficult in the heat of battle, especially given how the fight or flight reaction could cause the body to burn up oxygen at a higher rate.

Deep in thought about meditation techniques that the other girl could use that might quell that response in order to prolong her quirk usage, Selena took a moment to react to her name being called.

"Yes?"

She called in response before realizing she was expected to go next.

"Crap."

A barely audible sound that was more of a sigh came out as she set her beanie on her desk. Standing up, she walked to the front of the classroom and clasped her hands behind her back.

"My name is Selena Holland. I'm a hero student and my quirk is I can bring whatever I imagine come to life as long as I say it in some way. Volume doesn't effect it. It also allows me to warp the reality of the space around me, but warping causes me to go unconscious for random lengths of time, so I rarely do that. As for what I can create, while I don't receive the same damage inflicted on them, it does chip away at my stamina."

She says as she tries to think of what she can create that won't cause mass destruction. Running a hand through her silvery locks, her blood red eyes went to the floor as her lips moved slightly. The air around her hip shimmered before a Siberian tiger formed beside her, sitting patiently and looking up to her for a command. She smiled and gently gave it a scritch under the chin as she spoke. Selena looked up as Gang Orca cleared his throat, likely waiting for her to tell them her suit request. Brushing one of her braids out of her face, she stood up once again, placing her hand on the tiger's head.

"As for my hero gear, I asked for it to be a hooded cloak, gloves with retractable claws in cases of having to fight close combat and two small rifles. The rifles don't use bullets, they shoot vials that contain anything from a glue solution that can make it very hard for my enemy to get away, knock out gas, and a dye that is fluorescent and visible in low light situations. I asked for those so in situations where my stamina runs low, I'm not completely defenseless. The buckle of my utility belt also projects a small force field in situations that call for one. I've got boots with a steady grip on the sole for rough terrain, and guards for my forearms and thighs, since those are points of injury for a lot of past heroes."

She kissed the tiger's nose before allowing it to fade away.

"Lastly, I asked for an abdominal guard. I requested my gear to be light weight yet durable."

Selena looked around the room before gesturing to the guy who came in last, sitting by the window in the back corner.

"Your turn pal."

She heads back to her seat, putting her beanie back on and propping her head up on her palms.
Adjusting her beanie, Selena glanced around as she walked up the steps to the school. She could see the excitement was contagious today and she couldn't help but smile as she skipped up the stairs, the music in her headphones switching over to a new soundtrack. Bobbing her head, she looked down at the paper in her hands, double checking the door numbers until she came across her class. With one last deep breath, she sent a silent prayer that this would be a good day before pushing the door open. Red eyes glanced around the room before spotting an empty seat. She snagged it quickly, as she didn't want to draw anymore attention than she already might. Setting her backpack down, she turned the music off and slid her headphones into her pocket so she could pay attention.

She didn't recognize anyone who might have been in her arena. Maybe this would be a pretty fun group? Just as she was going to introduce herself to another girl, Gang Orca's booming voice made her nearly jump out of her skin, muttering a few choice words under her breath. That guy had a serious set of pipes if this was him normally speaking.

"Anyone else feel like they died a little?"

She grumbled, brushing a pale silvery strand of hair out of her eyes. Taking her bunny ear beanie off, she ran a hand nervously through her hair. She hated physical tests. Hell, her teachers had a hard enough time making her do the stupid mile run as a kid. Now they had to do it here?
Name: Selena Holland

Hero Alias: Mindfreak

Age: 14

Superhero status: Student

Quirk name: imagination creation

Quirk ability:: She has the ability to create whatever she can imagine as long as he speaks it into reality. This ability also allows her to warp reality to what she pictures it to be for a short period of time. It was a trick she frequently used to get out of trouble as a child.
The drawbacks to her abilities is that her living creatures take a great deal of concentration to control properly and any damage they sustain chops away at her own stamina. Also, her ability to warp reality has a backlash that renders her unconscious for atleast 15 minutes to 2 hours long.

Bio:Brief Bio: Selena grew up watching heros and villains battle quite frequently from a rather unique seat. Half of her family were labeled as villains, though to her, they were cousins who babysat her and kept her company when she was sick. The other half of her family aspired to be heros and often joined the rescue organizations that aided with fire fighting and police work. This left her straddling the fence for years as both families called for her to join their side. This year she finally had the courage to make a decision and chose to apply for UA. This was a result of a unique encounter she had as a child in the hospital, as she had grown very ill due to her quirk and not knowing how to release it properly. The constant drain on her stamina left her weak and bedridden. One day, she awoke to find stuffed animals in her room yet the staff and her family didn't know who left them. It wasn't until she awake one night to find Teddy leaving a stuffed rabbit on her bedside. She pretended to be asleep but caught him the next time. After much begging on her part, she convinced him to mentor her until her release from the hospital. Even after all of these years, she still leaves a bag of stuffed animals at their old training grounds for him to find, having cut off every tie but that one at his request. Her last gift before leaving the hospital were two panda bears that were dressed like mobsters.

Now, she tries to keep her abilities under wraps as even her family doesnt know the full extent yet. She comes off as a weird combo of shy yet oddly chatty as she hates awkward silences. She loves books and anime as well. She enjoys taking things apart to see how to put them back together again and she is surprisingly clumsy at times. A little goofy, she loves the arts in every form though her true passion is anything music related.
Koyuki jumped when she saw someone running over to her. Holding the kitten to her chest protectively, the tiger jumped up and snarled as it stood in front of her. "Stop where you are!" She called out from behind the tiger, mistaking Kuro's rustling of excitement as fear as she cooed to him, petting his head gently to try and calm him down. "It's okay little one." She whispered to the kitten as her gaze barely passed over the giant cat's spine. As she took a step back, the kitten's claws dug into her clavicle and she yelped as she let go for a moment, Kuro taking that opportunity to jump out of her blouse and run over to Keiji. Rubbing her collarbone, she was glad to see the kitten was climbing happily up Keiji's leg. "Well, I see he found his owner." The girl smiled before holding onto the tiger. Still mildly cautious after all the craziness of the day, she climbed over some of the bramble and parts from the cyborgs before using a large chunk as a stepping stool to sit on the back of the sabertooth. Brushing a green strand out of her face, she looked over to Keiji for a moment or two in silence before offering her hand to him. "I think I can trust you, since animals have a good sense when it comes to people's natures. Plus two of us might be safer than just one." She said softly as she motioned for him to climb up along side her.
Koyuki gingerly took the kitten and scratched under his chin before looking up at Slippery. "I'll do my very best to protect him." She promised with a smile before holding the kitten close to her bosom. Giggling as he nuzzled under her chin, she carefully cradled him and continued to sit in her spot for a bit longer. Her head was beginning to pound slowly and it was getting to the point that she had to either make the sabertooth smaller or find another creature to create that wouldn't cause a horrific migraine like this was one. The girl winced for a moment before the sabertooth seemed to shrink a little before That Slippery One's eyes. Breathing a sigh of relief, it was now roughly the size of a tiger, which would hopefully given them more protection than what they would have with him gone. "Would you like to take him with you?" Koyuki asks, gesturing to the rather large cat.

The kitten seemed to be intrigued and sniffed at it before the bigger cat turned his head and nuzzled it back. Laughing as the kitten quickkly dove into her shirt to hide, she pet his head and cooed to him softly as she gently pet his head. "It's okay little one. He's just a big baby." She whispers softly, smiling as she kisses the top of the kitten's head. Something this tiny and cute was too hard not to smile at and she only wanted to cuddle him more. Looking about the scene, it seemed remarkably quiet compared to a few minutes ago. "Do you think they've all gone away now?" She asked.
Koyuki looked up when Slippery One ran up to her and smiled. "I should be okay, but I won't turn it down, that's for sure. I didn't expect tbe blowback to reach that far." She blushed a little in embarrassment as the saber next to her rumbled softly before settling down beside her. "Why are there robots attacking the city to begin with?" She asked, holding her arm out. It was bright red from the burn but it seems she wouldn't scar except in one particular spot that looked like a crescent moon shaoed bright red splotch on her forearm.

Her head was beginning to ache from keeping tbe saber under control but she thought it best to keep the cat around. "Are you hurt at all? I can get you some medicial equipment." She offered, trying to hide the shaking in her hands as her heart pounded in her chest. Despite her brave front, the adrenaline rush was still blowing through her and it was clear that this was not a regular state of events.
Koyuki heard the ruckus coming from the banks and ran on impulse to the scene. She didn't even understand why she was running there, it wasn't as if she could be much help, right? Coughing as debris floated around her, she waved the smoke out of her face and looked around as the Slippery One was in action. She couldn't help but laugh a little when she heard her screaming about how awesome all of this was to her. As two other young men joined the fray, she yelped and had to run out of the way to avoid being crushed by one of the robots as it collapsed on itself. Idiot! What am I even doing here, it's not like I'ma hero or something... she thought to herself.

Just as she began to turn away, movement caught her eye and at the last second she envisioned a clear shield appearing around her. Her shield completed just before a cyborg swung at her, flinging the ball into the side of the building as she screamed out. She could only be thankful for her auntie training her to react on instinct otherwise she'd have been crushed. Standing out, the ball changed its side and expanded a little, causing the bricks that had appeared to crush her to fall away before she stepped out. A little shaky for obvious reasons, she looked around to gather her bearings just as the cyborg began another attack. "Look, I've already had a bad week, you aren't helping!" She stomped her foot before holding her arms out. It would seem weird to do so until a bazooka slowly began to manifest as the cyborg drew closer. Looking through the sniper piece, she fired away, a loud "SPLAT" echoing as what looked like a ball of jelly hit the robot on the camera lense, essentially blinding it. As it tried to pull the jelly off, a soft hissing sound filled the air as the head and claws began to slowly melt.

As a second cyborg began it's attack, she ran away from the trio, already spotting a group of cyborgs going after them. The least she could do was distract one for them. "Come on, you rust bucket! Show me what you've got!" She yelled, waving her arms to catch it's attention. As she ran, a bubble formed from the first cyborg before popping, some of the jelly flying and a piece landing on her forearm. Yelping, she flung it off quickly and hissed as pain surged up her arm. Stumbling a little, she took a shaky breath before turning her gaze to the robot. Focusing on it's head or rather the spot just above it, in an almost comical fashion, a large anvil dropped onto it, smashing it into place.

Koyuki turned her gaze to the first robot she had fought and tried to maintain a bubble around tbe robot so any particles coming off wouldn't hurt anyone else. Holding her left arm close, she worked on neutralizing the acid as she tried to think of a better way to do that without the explosive reaction next time. Closing her eyes, Koyuki took a deep breath before something else began to form beside her. With each breath, it went from a hazy gorm to something more solidified until a rather large sabertooth stood next to her. Walking to the trio, she held one arm out to show she didn't mean to fight them. "Is everyone else okay?" She asked as the large cat sat down beside her, allowing her to lean against it. She was straining to keep it under a mental lock and key but thought it would be best to have something that could work for offensive and defensive purposes.
Giving a long, exhausted stretch, Koyuki leaned back against the padding of the chair. Her arms raised above her head as she gave a soft yawn and looked around the cafe she was in, a sketchpad on the table before her along with a cup of coffee that was slowly growing cold. She got like this at times, sketching silently while her imagination ran wild on paper, rather than in the streets or in this cozy shop. Even now, her mind still ran mad with the events of the previous night as she looks down at her pencil.

"Why can't you just leave me alone?! You already ruined my chances of going to UA and now this? I am NOT joining the 'Family business' don't you get that?!" She screamed, her hands shaking as she clenched her fists together, her chest huffing as she stared her cousin down. The two girls had often been mistaken for sisters and even twins but at this moment, they were anything but close as they stood on opposite ends of one another. Akari scoffed and crossed her arms as those golden eyes, a trait of their family, were as cold as ice as she glanced at Koyuki and looked to the ceiling in annoyance.

"How long are you going to cry over that? The school is a piece of crap anyways and what good would you do there? What would you do if you had to go against one of us, Yuki? Hm? Would you fight us? Would you fight my mom, my dad, ME?! We're family and you need to start acting like it." Akari said as her gaze moved from the ceiling back to her cousin, glaring as she slowly stalked towards the young girl. Eye to eye, she brushes her hand against her chin and smiles sweetly before whispering into her ear, "Besides, who would feel safe with a hero related to villains on the street? You're a liability. Here, you'd be welcomed with open arms and remember, even among us freaks, you're the real one." She giggled and slammed her shoulder into Koyuki's as she pushed past her, walking out of the girl's apartment door with a harsh slam behind her.

Gripping her cup in her hands, she took a shaky breath before taking a sip, doing her best not to focus on the anger bubbling in her throat. She had to learn as a child how to control her quirk, as her nightmares would become a reality and she had been kicked out of countless daycares and playcenters as a toddler for the creatures her dreams conjured. Her aunt and uncle had been her closest supporters next to her parents as her aunt's power was vaguely similar to hers, thus giving her a mentor to look up to. It wasn't until she grew up that she learned she had been, in fact, been grooming Koyuki in hopes of her joining their side of the family. What angered her cousin more than anything though, was that Koyuki turned her back and instead applied to UA, hoping to become a hero to others and to protect those without a voice or without hope. She wanted to save others, no matter what.

Koyuki finished her coffee and set the mug down before packing her bags. Hoisting her backpack onto her shoulders, she glanced around the shop once more before stepping out onto the street, holding her beret down as the wind blows her pale emerald hair into her eyes for a moment. Blinking past the sun in her eyes, she turns and makes her way down the street, humming softly as she smiles, thinking of the second application she sent to UA for possible late submissions. Apparently the school was allowing students to enter in the course through some sort of test. She could only hope that she would be able to pass, even if it wasn't the main hero course.
