I'm in. ^_^
@Zorogami, you around?

With two of us in the training room and the others variously scattered, I'm assuming you, Cerberus and I are probably waiting on our next round of posting until the others join us?
Axeus sat at his master's behest, kneeling on the matted floor of the training room. He was ever so slightly out of breath, and so allowed himself a couple of deep inhales as he sat. He looked at Irakois intently.

"Now tell me, Axeus...what is it you fight for?"

Axeus paused for a moment. Even though he had lived in the Land of Departure all his life, this was his first day of formal training with Irakois. The two had briefly crossed paths in the past, but since Axeus was not yet a keybearer, there was no reason for extended interaction. Axeus looked up to Irakois as a bastion of strength and learned much about him over the years. He felt a connection to the master. He had completely forgotten that, for Irakois, this was among their first meetings. His master knew nearly nothing about him. Axeus briefly considered lying and telling him that he sought power to protect the weak, that he fought for all of the less fortunate of the worlds, that he wished to one day train others... but he got the feeling that Irakois would see through the deception. He shifted slightly, settling into a position where his body language conveyed confidence and determination.

"I fight for myself. My goal is to become the strongest version of me that I can possibly be. I want power... not to rule others, or to protect others, but for power's sake."

Perhaps he had said too much. If the other students had been in the room, he surely would have given a less honest answer. But, he felt that in this circumstance it was important to be as blunt as possible. His master deserved to know his true intent. He could only hope that the master would approve and it would make his training that much more purposeful.
Hey everyone, sorry for my lack of activity. Been very busy with real life stuff. Making an IC post now!
@Zorogami That makes sense. I hope to be posting more frequently once the RP really gets moving. My latest post is up!
"Well then, young one. Your early arrival shows me you are eager to learn. Why don't you practice a few attacks on that dummy over there?"

Axeus nodded, his heartrate quickening slightly. He was glad that the master didn't waste any time. Axeus was here to train, and he hated having to wait. Axeus flicked his wrist. A simple, darkly-colored keyblade appeared in his grip in a flash of light. He looked across the room at the training dummy and then back to Irakois. He was surprised that none of the other students had bothered to come early. Axeus shrugged, then bowed to Irakois.

"Well then, Master, I will begin." Axeus gripped his keyblade with both hands, bringing it up to eye-level, horizontal to the ground. He paused momentarily. Then, he shot forward, using the speed of his Piercing Slide to propel him across the room in a split second. He let out a shout as he slammed the tip of the keyblade into the dummy, causing it to fly back and hit the wall behind it. Without skipping a beat, Axeus leapt forward, catching the training dummy as it ricocheted off the wall with a series of upside-down aerial strikes. Finishing his arc, Axeus kicked off of the wall the dummy had just hit, shooting forward with a spinning attack, tearing into the dummy's torso and causing stuffing material to fly. Axeus landed in front of the dummy and performed a wide vertical strike, knocking the training implement into the air.

"Gravity!" Axeus said, causing a orb of dark star energy to form above the dummy. The magic slammed the dummy into the ground, causing its limbs to snap, sending wood and other material flying. Axeus caught a large splinter of wood that shot toward his face. Inspecting it for a moment, he threw it aside and unsummoned his keyblade. He looked to Irakois and bowed once more.

"I hope that met your expectations, Master."
Hey @Zorogami, just wanted to check in with you and everyone else. Sorry about the delay on my posting. I'm hoping to get a post up this evening, but if I'm not able, I'll definitely have one up tomorrow.
@SoleAccord I believe you are correct, sorry if I caused any confusion. That's what I was trying to clear up in my OOC post. Axeus doesn't want to do any sort of interaction at the moment, so I've skipped him forward to class. Any interaction any of the other characters might want to do should still totally happen, and just catch up to Axeus's 8 am window whenever you all are ready. I'm sure Zoro will allow for as much or little interaction as you all want before class begins. I just didn't want to have to make multiple posts explaining that Axeus continues to do nothing while others may or may not be interacting.
Alrighty, first post is up. Sorry for my delay as well. May has been just destroying me, I've been sick pretty much the whole month so far. Since the scene was pretty light I just described what his morning routine was and fast forwarded as much as I could to the progression. If other people want to take it slower and talk over breakfast and stuff don't let my haste stop you- Axeus just isn't interested in any pleasantries yet ^_^
Axues stirred as a beam of morning light pierced through the window's simple curtain. The sun had just begun to rise, but for Axeus, that single ray was as good an alarm clock as any. He quickly brought himself to a sitting position. He began his morning like he always did- several deep breaths, followed by immediately getting onto the floor- several sets of push ups, sit ups, and jumping jacks. Just a quick wake up routine, but for Axeus, it signified that no matter what the time of day, no matter where he was, he was always training. Always bettering himself. Always searching for strength.

After the quick work out, he continued with some light stretches before finally leaving his cozy room. Irakois insisted they keep their rooms clean. This was a menial task for Axeus, partly because he was overly tidy anyway, and partly because he didn't own enough to even get his room dirty in the first place. Axeus descended a flight of stone stairs and found the communal male bathroom, where he'd shower and take care of his daily hygiene. He dried himself off and put on his clothes for the day. He was given a simple training outfit by the Master. It consisted of an undecorated, loose t-shirt and shorts. Not at all his style, but good enough as anything for working out. He sighed and resigned himself to the bleak clothes. After all, he hadn't come here to impress anyone with his fashion. He had to keep his eye on the goal.

Once he was nice and clean, Axeus went down to the kitchen and prepared his breakfast. Today he decided on eggs, bacon, toast, and some light fruit. He wanted something well rounded, but also high in protein. He had a feeling he would need it today. He prepared and ate his food very quickly. If there was anyone else in the kitchen area, he didn't notice them: socialization was very low on his list of priorities.

Finally, Axeus headed to the training room. He arrived there around 8 am, half an hour before class started. He entered and gave a short bow.

"Good morning, Master."
