@Trinais You keep calling my character Exie xD

Edit: Trying to keep things brief because I figured you guys are trying to move on to the next stage. Please excuse the small post. : )

No worries! I liked it XD

Sorry about Rikive's little power trip! She's still getting used to the weight of leadership and I figure, best to get this little phase out of the way now. She'll still listen to what the other's have to say so basically that was just her own two cents. If everyone else wants to try the warehouse, then she'll agree and work with them to come up with a plan. Possibly two!

I'm thinking one would be how they approach they warehouse and would probably include your character, Exie, on the planning phase? The other one will be a back up plan in case shit goes bad, like say, there's an ambush. This one would be hammered out without their new vampire friend around.
Rikive narrowed her eyes as the vampire divulged her...helpful information. A mysterious warehouse that may have something inside that could help them? This coming from someone they took captive but now wanted to fight on their side? Rikive wasn't buying it for a second. It sounded like too much risk without knowing what the reward would be.

Why were they even considering letting the vampire join them? They were just supposed to get information from her then kill her. Now the others were ready to let her into their fold? Rikive still had some doubts about Autumn and Gray, but she was going to draw the line at this. She wasn't going to risk the lives of these people on a hunch from the likes of the vampire.

"All I've heard is 'maybe'." She spoke up after Parael drew the groups attention to her, folding her arms over her chest. Her pale green eyes glowering daggers into the vampires. "I don't want to risk anyone's life on 'maybe' and," She lowered her arms and took a step forward. "I am not going to-"

She cut herself off when a chill ran up her spine and she sensed something fall over the bunker. Her eyes snapped over to Parael and she gasped seeing him suspended in the air as red marks like bindings appeared on his body. She reached out to grab him out of instinct. Her fingers felt like they hit an invisible wall for a moment before she was thrown back by the energy encasing Parael. Her body slammed into one of the concrete walls, the force of the impact cracking the stone underneath her.

Rikive growled in anger as she dropped back onto the floor, perfectly fine after having what felt like a semi truck run into her. Hands clenched at her sides, all she could do was watch with growing anger and horror as Parael was turned into a toddler. Swears and other choice words fell out of her mouth in Old Norse, her tone laced with frustration. She turned and punched the concrete wall behind her and creating a good sized depression in the rock.

She kept her fist there for a moment, taking in a deep breaths to calm herself back down. "Parael," She breathed out, lowering her hand and turning around to look down at toddler Parael. "You aren't fat. You're a baby. Again." She explained, jaw tight as she tried to calm down and think rationally again. It was hard considering not only was her friend in danger as long as Gordon had his sword, but their best weapon against Nemesemt was completely neutralized.

Rikive eyed the potion with a wary frown before nodding and holding out her hand to take it. She popped it open, tried not to breath through her nose, and tossed her head back to drink it. Easily one of the more disgusting tasting things she had ever tasted, but she could feel the pain fading away. She shook her head when she was finished with the bottle, looking around for something else to drink to get this taste out of her mouth.

"Right now it's about a six? Stab wound to the arm. It's going away fast though." She said, setting the bottle down. "Thank you Lizzy. You are an excellent medicine woman." She smiled, leaning back against the pillow on the bed. Her pain fading she noticed all the strange sounds she was hearing inside of the hospital.

She could hear babies crying, adults crying or laughing, some were crying out in pain. So many different and opposing sounds, it was as interesting as it was unnerving. Mentally shaking her head to ignore the sounds she focused on Lizzy and Parael again. "What was that demon doing there?" She finally asked Parael with a frown. "I know we killed it, but do you think it's connected to what happened in the ambulance?"

So...should I wait to give them information?

I don't think so
I'll wait for the other's in the room to give their reactions to the vampire joining before posting anything
Awe, poor Gray. I've got an idea that might cheer him up a little XD

Thooough, should Rikive give final say about the vampire staying? >.>
Rikive relaxed against Parael as the EMT got up to shut the door while the EMT in the front radioed in the incident with the gurney. She grabbed onto her injured arm, the adrenaline rushing through her making the venom spread further through her body. She gritted her teeth before swearing loudly in Old Norse while the EMT crouched next to her to check on her.

Something had just tried to kill or maim her more likely because that hit wouldn't have kept her down for long. Unless the demon venom somehow hindered her healing magic. She didn't recognize the presence she had sensed come over the ambulance, it hadn't even felt like the Fairy Queen looking for revenge. She didn't know what to make of it.

Rikive shut her eyes and tried to calm down, hoping that she wouldn't feel that presence again.

They made it to the hospital without anymore 'bad luck' as the EMT in the back had called it. A new gurney was waiting for them and Rikive almost didn't want to trust it in case this one went flying off into traffic too. The pain in her arm convinced her to take the blunge and she got on it to be wheeled through the ER.

I hate demons! Rikive growled to herself, looking around her at the interior of the ambulance. The cleaning of her wound stung, just because touching it hurt. She shut her eyes and mentally berated herself for getting scratched like she had. Taking in a deep breath she tried to calm her racing heart so the blood wouldn't spread faster through her body.

She heard a soft 'click' sound and felt the gurney start to move around. Her eyes flew open as she sensed something wash over the ambulance. A second later the doors flew open and Rikive rolled off of the gurney just as it shot out of the back of the ambulance, like a cannon ball from a canon. She landed on Parael, grabbing onto him and looking out through the open doors. Behind the ambulance was a large truck and the tires screeched as it tried to break to a stop when the gurney flew out to it. The truck slammed into the gurney before it went to a complete stop.

"Holy shit!" The EMT shouted, staring at the wrecked gurney with wide eyes as the driver of the ambulance put on his breaks as well.

Rikive looked up at Parael with wide eyes filled with surprise.
Rikive scowled and let go of Parael's shoulders to run her hands through her drying hair. Charles Gordon, the name didn't ring any bells for her but maybe Beth knew who he was? She seemed to have a knack for collecting information from what Parael has mentioned about her.

"Parael, I want you to take deep breaths." She advised him, placing one hand back on his shoulder and looking toward the door of the bathroom. "We have a name. That's good, that's really good. If we have a name then we can find out more about this man and get the sword back." Before anything was done to Parael? She didn't know. But it was something.

"Just, try to remain calm." She grimaced. That was like asking the rain to fall upwards. "I'm going to go get Beth and ask her what she knows about this Gordon." She crouched again so she was at eye level with him. "Deep breaths, brother. Deep breaths." She wrapped her arms around him in a strong embrace before letting go and standing back up.

Hesitantly she left the bathroom and went in search of Beth. It wasn't hard to find her as it seemed everyone else was crowded in the room with their 'guest'. Good, if she tried to break out there was more than enough muscle in that room to either keep her contained or kill her.

Rikive entered into the room, looking around for a moment at the mismatched and thrown together group. It still had not quite sunk in that she was the leader of these people. "Beth." She called out and made a motion with her hand for the ghost to come with her. "I need to borrow you for a moment." She said, stepping out of the doorway and back into the hall to wait for her.

I'm wondering if Rikive ever had a run in with Mr. Gordon? I kind of imagine de Lacy might've wanted her as an enforcer or something
