There you have it. I hope that's good, I tried to have Aya come out as a less apathetic Seha Lee, playing games seems to be a good way to kill time until the other world scene ends.
Well, that has been a major disappointment. Who would think that, with the New Year's festival as crowded as it was, things would be that uninteresting?

Not that it mattered that much for Aya. She didn't understood why her family had the tradition to come out of their way to pay their respect to the god(s) of this particular shrine when their own mountain had a shrine dedicated to them. According to her grandparents (the ones who actually raised Aya), it was just to keep good relationship with the neighboring kami, honoring the time they shared in the past (i.e.: old people business).

"What's the point when the humans themselves only do this because it's a tradition? The age of gods and mystery is pretty much dead, everyone knows that," Aya thought as she found a slightly less crowded spot and began to play a fighting game, plugging her headphones to see if she could drown a bit of the background noise. "Mhmm, mhmm, at least the food isn't all that bad. I guess it was worthy the time to come all the way here, after all," the youngish tengu thought out loud as she reached for a plastic bag with a few anko filled dorayaki.

I finally caught up with the IC. However, before I start writing a post, I have a question, would it be better if I had my character be hanging around the shrine and wait until the current scene (which is well underway) ends, or is it alright to just wedge her in somehow, using the same gimmick of being dragged into the other world by skeletal arms, for example?
Oh, I just mean to say that I'm almost done catching up with the IC. As soon as I get it all I'm going to begin working on a post.
@Kuroyomihime: Accepted. \o/

Thanks. I'll read over and try to post yet today.
Name: Ueno Aya
Age: 17 years
Race: Karasu Tengu
Appearance:

Height: 166 cm | Weight: 56 kg

Abilities: All tengu are born martial arts masters, in fact their race is attributed to the foundations of ninjutsu, among many others. Tengu have superhuman agility and senses, which are sharpened by age, but even the youngest tengu are as skilled as a human with twice, or more, their age.

Tengu are also, like many other youkai, masters of subterfuge and trickery, they can imitate nearly any sound, including human voices, that they ever heard, shapeshift into ravens or a fully human disguise and hide their presence up until the moment they decide to attack. These abilities allow tengu to effectively haunt and deceive anyone who trespasses at their mountain homes.

Lastly, but not least, tengu are also known for their power to manipulate the wind, the strongest and oldest are powerful enough to summon catastrophic storms out of the blue, which is often used to explain the fickleness of the weather on high mountains. However, a young one such as Aya can only create a strong breeze

Equipment: A pair of shirasaya katana (she usually carries them in a kendo bag, disguised as training swords), a folding fan, a smartphone, a small laptop, a handheld console, a very treasured jacket and a few personal belongings.

Personality: Aya, befitting her heritage, if very curious and playful. She also has a bit of a hoarder nature, especially if the target of her attraction are shiny objects, regardless of their value. Likewise, Aya is a big fan of fast things, like motorcycles, but she's not particularly into cars, because they lack the feeling of "being one with the wind." Lastly, she has a big interest on the internet and computers and gaming in general, including things like programing and design.

History: Being a very young member of her race, born on the modern world, Aya's story isn't specially grand or full of unexpected turns. The most interesting bits generally lie on her school life misadventures, like how she struggled to keep her wings hidden during kindergarten, eventually littering places with raven feathers that no one knew where they came from. Or, how she fell in love with the internet as soon as she got her first feature phone.

Probably the most memorable episode of her life up to this point was the time when she got involved with a teenager "biker gang", the jacket she treasure's so much is a gift she got from the gang's leader. Sad circumstances led the gang to be disbanded after a time, but Aya still keeps fond memories of that time.

Sorry for the disappearance, I couldn't really use the internet this weekend. That said, I finished my character in the meanwhile. I hope she's better this time:

@Moonlit Sonata

Sorry for not saying anything for the past couple days, but couldn't really use the internet this weekend.

That said, I'd like to thank you for your consideration but I'll have to pass on this RP for personal reasons.

Apologies once more, I hope to have better timing in the future.
@PKMNB0Y

My CS is almost ready, I just need to finish the personality and backstory, neither of which will be that complicated, later. I awant to see if the rest of it is well, for the time being:
