hai. Just waiting for the others to post.
I will put this undead hand here to say I am interested.
Veronica Vivant Velasquez de Flaga

Beautiful.

The circle was drawn perfectly. This would be where she broke free of her family's influence and become her own person. She would lead her family to become greater than what they were. TO have this land under their grasp, to have this power, this place, and the Grail. Why, she would immediately become the greatest of her family, surpassing even her family's Red Eye potions and myriad drugs. She would become the Second Owner, and from then on, her potential would be limitless.

Ah, but she was getting ahead of herself.

It seemed to be fate, that she would be chosen by this war's Grail. Obviously it was her fate as well to win. Then all that was left, was to summon her own servant and fight the war.

The circle, drawn of silver, stood out rather conspicuously against the luxurious furnitures and decor of the hotel room. Obviously she had the whole floor to herself, and had already set up a bounded field to cover her summoning. The incantation however, was useless, as she had learned the Grail was actually the one handling the actual summoning.

But what was a summoning ritual without a grand incantation to go with it?

So Veronica chanted, calling out to the heroes that would listen, promising victory and the Grail to those that would answer. Obviously, she would get the best servant of them all, considering her own greatness.

"-then those that would answer my call, come to me!"

Saber

A faint call, one that tugged gently at her.

Would this be her time? Who was it that called for her, this impoverished knight? It was of no matter. She was called, and thus she would answer. With just a thought, she grasped the thread tugging at her.

With a brilliant blue light, Balin materialized once more to this world, called upon to participate in this war. Finally opening her eyes, her first vision was of that girl, and the seemingly rather lavish interior of the hotel room. While Balin was clad in armor that was unmistakably knightly, her armor was hardly shining. While it was in excellent condition and was taken care of well, it still showed signs of wear here and there. The armor was chipped in places, a few deep scratches no amount of buffing could erase, and the cloth around her waist were rather faded, as if it had went through a long journey through all sorts of weather.

"Apologies," Saber spoke, turning her gaze and a smile towards the girl before her. "I must ask, are you to be my Master?"
Terra Breaker

"Tch!"

A snake appeared out of nowhere, blocking her first strike against that Demon Lord. Mouth wide open, it moved as if to snap at her. She would have likely tried to punch into its mouth, and blew her magic inside once it bit down onto her arm, but for the shield that appeared, protecting her from harm. Exploding, it sent the snake scurrying away. Terra flew slowly away from the Demon Lord, now that her first strike had been in vain. What was the others doing!? The Demon Lord was right there, they should either be running for their lives or trying to take it down immediately.

“Are you alright?” A voice spoke, seemingly full of concern.

It was one of the others, the one with an odd pair of wings,flying out to her with a worried look. She seemed injured as well, though Terra knew not why. Perhaps one of the birds winged her? It was almost immediately evident that she was the one who put up that shield, since no one else would just go up to her for no reason, especially when she made a point of fighting alone. Almost instinctively Terra put herself in front of the girl, ready to defend both of them should the Demon Lord retaliate. Someone like this....

"You should run."

She can't really hear anything Nya was whispering, not up here and certainly not when her blood was just boiling at the sight of that Demon Lord. But she can hear what Nya was saying normally, and she can see what Nya was doing.

And what she was doing, was betraying them.

Willingly going over to a Demon Lord and being her pawn? For what purpose? For some personal agenda? Power? Lust for revenge? Unforgivable. This was worse than simply being a cherry girl or some clueless magical girl who thinks this was all fun and games, this was betrayal at its worst, betraying their own kind for another. Perhaps it was some sort of gambit on the girl's part, but one can never be too safe, for corruption can pop up anytime. Especially after being in such close proximity to a Demon Lord, she'd imagine.

"You... should run."

She repeated those words again to the girl behind her, this time with a bit more urgency to her voice. If that girl turns to a demon, there would be three strong demons in one place, and another that might come back. Terra wasn't sure if they could handle 4 high leveled demons, especially when one of them was a Demon Lord.

@AtomicNut@Noxx@Cuccoruler
My character was given the empty hilt, by her friend, who was a shrine maiden. The empty hilt would be the equivalent to the magical trinket for magical girls to transform with, and the sword equivalent to magical items they would fight with.

Hope that helps. ^^;
Will post later.
I feel you. Dark souls bosses kills me a lot too ;w;

Especially those two idiots in Anor Londo.
@Noxx Because you haven't edited that post or anything.^^;

There was no chance for me to react to any of the event, starting from the snake suddenly trying to bite my character. She could have reacted in a variety of ways once the snake retaliates, like flying away, punching it, jumping down its gullet and doing the macarena, etc. If you had wanted to do something large with multiple actions like this, perhaps a collab post would be better?
yes, the fire rises
She can fly. I'll just ignore that post then.
