Bio

Hello! I'm LadyRunic! But you knew that...

I love most types of Role Play, but by far my favorites are those that are well thought out and worked with. Especially when you can find a group you can work well with. I love books- So many books. It's a running bet that I will become buried under a pile of said objects one day... I'm a tad busy, and when an Rp really catches my interest I'm inpatient for posts. It's like reading a good book and getting stuck on a cliff hanger.

You can generally expect posts regularly once a week if not more.

I've RP'd for the better part of fourteen years, so I can honestly say I have some experience and I've developed the understanding of what I expect of a partner in a one-on-one or a group. I'm also the sort who will speak up and point out something if it looks off or forms a problem to me. I spent most of a year once stuck in a Voice Chat Rp that was hell on Earth, so I'm straight forward when I need to say something. I expect this in return from my Rpers and DMs. I want to improve my writing and love constructive criticism.

Perhaps. I just want a little more to write than dwelling on Alice's thoughts and detailing surrounding we already know about.
@Mister Thirteen I'm going to be honest and probably sound harsh, but I don't intend to be.

I love the Rp, the characters and the story. But can you give me more to work with? Because Alice is repeating a lot of prior thought and can't really do anything as a character beside dwell on things she already has. To lengthen my posts to an acceptable length and all.

I've got family coming over, I'll try to get a post up tonight, if not tomorrow.

Rhys Asher

Location: Wizard Way

This was just a fine situation wasn't it? Here was poor Ernie, a pleasent lad now many years over and putting himself in potential danger. But for all that Rhys had hardened himself, he did see the wisdom in recruiting Ernie's aid. The Ordinary Wizard could go where Rhys could not without perhaps being recognized at the worst. Studying the shorter Wizard, the Rogue Wizard gave a slight chuckle. "I should have. It would have made my life easier." There was a slight note of regret in Rhys voice that was so unlike the harden criminal he was. "But no, I have not." The unspoke yet however hung in the air as The green flecked black eyes looked at the other wizard.

How best to approach this? Threats? They were surrounded by people who would come to Ernie's aid. Tilting his handsome face, Rhys let a small smirk touch the corners of his lips. Best to persuade Ernie that this was all Erik's fault. That the man had twisted him into what he was, and play on that very true fact. "Why don't you ask the real question you want to ask?" Goaded the Rogue. "How is it I'm here and alive? What happened all those years ago?" Giving a boyish grin Rhys leaned against a wall casually. "I'll tell you, but not for free. I've come for information Ernie. I have a lad I'm trying to cure for purely selfish reasons and nothing I've tried has worked." It was a partial truth, he had also come for a chance to snatch the ExtraOrdinary Wizards- Former, Future, and Current- and strip them of their power and life. Raising a handsome brow at his former friend, he unwillingly remembered all the nights he had stayed up late studying to try and get Blaise to chose him as the ExtraOrdinary Wizard Apprentice. Of the sharp jabs he had used to drive folk away as Erik, his old mentor, drove home his weaknesses and ineptitude that he would never be what he so desired.
Alice fell back on the bed her hands aching slightly from three days of constant work. After a week off it was going to take time to get her former nimbleness back. It was getting late in the day and Liza would be back from her errand soon, and then there was the masquerade that was coming up. A small smile flickered across her lips as she looked over at the dress she had created. The fabric wasn't up to her normal standards but Alice was pleased over the final outcome. At the end of the day, she had created a beautiful a dress of the Victorian style. Closing her own emerald eyes and sighing out a weary breathe, Alice smirked slightly. She hadn't had the time to sew the sleeves of the desk, so she had gone with a alternate style detailed with lace and ruffles.

And Liza had joked about frills but Alice was good with them and they were easy to sew. The spare fabric laid neatly folded on the desk next to the rest of her supplies. "I'll even have enough for a shirt!" She squealed at the thought, as she beamed up at the ceiling. Though she had the odd thought that Liza was sick of coming home to constant humming and whirling Alice did about the small apartment as she picked and preened over each ruffle's exact placement. On top of that she had finished the mask as well! Pleased with herself, the vampire sighed and buried her head into the pillow. She was slightly worried by the upcoming ball, however. Raking a hand through her damp hair, Alice sighed and stared across the bed at the dress. A work of art.

The woman sighed in only part happiness. A masquerade was exactly what she needed to lift her spirit, yet she was terribly afraid of anything ruining that brief time. Even after a week and three days she had not asked Liza about the immortality of vampires. Nor for three days had she worried about her beloved shop. Now as she had set down the needle the worry came back like it always did. Was she going to suffer so because she had been a romantic? Still was, Alice thought with a slightly sad smile. All she had wanted was a kiss, and she had gotten it at the cost of her life. Now she was trapped in a life she had never wanted, and she feared what else this strange new world contained. Without Liza she was essentially defenseless. The good news, Alice thought with some relish, was that Liam was gone and done. After all this mess, that serial killer-vampire wasn't coming back. That was the thought that kept her moving along with the hope that she could get her shop back someday.
Will do though most likely sometime tomorrow.
"Yes Ma'am!" Alice beamed at Liza. For once after a long week, her life was looking upwards! Eager to get back to the apartment Alice was about ready to drag Liza back to apartment. Clapping her hands, the tailor beamed up at the other woman. "Oh I can't wait to get back!" The bliss at being able to work again, pleased the newly made vampire to no end. She liked her work and it had been killing her that her shop had been off limits and essentially abandoned.

Oh if she ever got her hands on Liam agian! Alice swore up and down she would make that man pay, and some how she would get her shop back! Tailor lovely dresses, and suits again! Sighing happily at the thought Alice tried to keep herself positive. Liam had been an utter ass in doing what he did, but Alice was not going to give him the ultimate victory by losing everything! Plus she was getting comfortable in the fact that her 'maker' was not going to show up again. Turning her thoughts away from that night and towards the dress she was going to make, Alice hugged Liza and shooed her towards the door. Eager to get back and started on her work.
Bump
It was five minutes and a great deal of whirling about when Alice appeared before Liza. Black and green fabric with a dark lace, and several shades of green, black and oddly enough gold thread. All from a discount bin. Which Alice had argued even lower with the cashier of the shop, tossing in a few comments about a supplier who was selling a extremely desirable velvet wool for a 'lovely price, I wouldn't miss the deal but I don't need entire bolts of it!'. Something the shopkeeper had seemed all to pleased about. Agreeing to toss in the three needles Alice requested and a small box of pins for free. Another comment about where to get excellent spider webbed cloth that was woven for cheap, got Miss Lynch a packet of beads for free.

Giving a raised brow to Liza she gave a charming smile. "I know things, and sometimes information is better payment than actual money. Now the shop can have a cheaper and steady supply of those two cloths for the cost of some measly pins and needles." Her green eyes were dancing as Alice winked at Liza with obvious glee. "Money saved, my dear, is sometimes better than money earned." Her face screwed up in a dour expression. "Or that's what my father said, but he was much more insidious about it. That's what you would expect from him. Insidious to the inside and immaculate to the public."
Alice sighed in bliss as she selected the correct supplies for the gown she was planning on making. Something with a bit of a mysterious edge she thought. Something that would blend into the background yet still maintain her level of artistry. Slipping over to Liza with a arm full of green and black cloth with a bit of dark lace that wasn't quite the color of coal. It was modest, but Alice could make modest look good. She had with Liam's jacket she thought with a sadness that hung in her emerald eyes.

That coat had taken days to design and make, everything had been perfected on it. Alice shook her head and gave Liza what she hoped was a cheerful smile. "I got the basics. It won't make anything jaw dropping, but I can work something decent at least." She commented with a aloof air. Typical of her status as a well-to-do tailor, or what had been her status before the attack that had nearly killed her. Sometimes she wished it had. It would be so much easier at times... But no! Liam had been a selfish, insensitive bastard when he had preyed upon her and Alice Lynch was a woman with a vengeance.

Richard Laine

Location The Institute

Richard felt a nerve twitch in his jaw as Marygold whirled and smack down his orders. His eyes and gun, however, remained trained on the vehicles and dealing what damage he could to them. Richard was a relatively decent man by some standards. He cared deeply for his little sister and would risk all for Ayita. He even gave a damn about the Stark girl, though not to the same degree. Guin had the backbone and spine that made him want to be around her and antagonize her to some degree. The fact he did owe her one- potentially several- was not lost on the Adder.

Not getting time to dwell, a shot knocked Richard from his feet. The Adder swore viciously as he got back up, shrugging off the aches and pain. He couldn't stand down and he could take more than these foolish brats. Giving Marygold a glower that by all rights he hoped would send the little weed running to the Blackbird herself, the Adder hissed in a venomous voice. "Go play with your lamb Little Mary. You may have been in fights and survived but I've been in wars." He let loose several more shots at the human OMEN's cars. Carefully aiming and firing as quickly as possible. "My body can take a hell more than yours can. Now get the hell down to that plane and let me bring up the damn rear, little weed." Richard's jaw was set in a firm line as he snapped at the child. She was more than half his age, but it was a thing with the former soldier. Women and children were out first. Mary classified as that whether she wanted to be or not. A ugly truth settled in Richard's gut as a man who he assumed was the older version of Pietro sped by calling him crazy. Well, that was true then as it was now. But it also worried the assassin, planting a seed of doubt he'd be getting out of this alive. "Healing factor. Not much, but reptile." The explantion was all he was giving and there was a set look in the Adder's eye. He was preparing for death and for once? Richard felt fear of breaking his word. Something he tried to never do.

Ayita Dyrkin

Location The Institute

Ayita flicked her eyes at Amni, confusion filling the amber orbs. "Sweet fangs-?" She muttered more to herself rather than anyone else in the room despite the dire situation. "My fangs are hardly sweet." A puzzle expression crossed the shifter's face as she tried to work out the literal way she took the statement. Was this one of those things people called expressionism which is why people drew pictures that looked nothing like what they were looking at? Nina's words however snapped the younger shifter from her thoughts. With a nod, she turned to follow the Professor.

Pausing as she passed Amni the woman sniffed pointedly. Her thoughts conveying over to Amni's mind, though words were said if it seemed her thoughts did not reach. [color=ForestGreen]"Caution is essential to survival. Life does not give second chances and I am unused to how humans work still. I though your appearance within my territory was odd and a attack shortly after was too much a strange thing for me to dismiss easily."[color=ForestGreen] Her fangs bared in a threatening smile that wasn't not meant to be threatening as Ayita blinked her amber orbs slowly. "Not threat." She declared purely mentally to Amni and moved with a predator's grace after the professor. Her long legs easily catching up as she shook her auburn hair from her face.
