Bio

Hello! I'm LadyRunic! But you knew that...

I love most types of Role Play, but by far my favorites are those that are well thought out and worked with. Especially when you can find a group you can work well with. I love books- So many books. It's a running bet that I will become buried under a pile of said objects one day... I'm a tad busy, and when an Rp really catches my interest I'm inpatient for posts. It's like reading a good book and getting stuck on a cliff hanger.

You can generally expect posts regularly once a week if not more.

I've RP'd for the better part of fourteen years, so I can honestly say I have some experience and I've developed the understanding of what I expect of a partner in a one-on-one or a group. I'm also the sort who will speak up and point out something if it looks off or forms a problem to me. I spent most of a year once stuck in a Voice Chat Rp that was hell on Earth, so I'm straight forward when I need to say something. I expect this in return from my Rpers and DMs. I want to improve my writing and love constructive criticism.

Skaoi followed the young lad along the winding trail back through the Manuscriptorium. The girl had been a curiosity and one she could ill afford at this current point in time. The Sickenesse was in dire need of curing, and she had been distracted. Though the reasoning behind it was sound, Skaoi would give herself that. As Emma asked if she could keep a secret the pale Eastern Snow Plains native nodded slowly.

"I can keep a secret." The pale woman agreed. Goodness knows she had a good few herself. Secrets that would never been told and taken to her grave. Though as Emma continued, Skaoi found it rather useless. So this Ms. Rincewind and the CHS were arguing over the Extra Ordinary Wizard? With that status and grandeur it seemed things got interesting. But in all reality, what did that information do to help her. "I hope she is well." Skaoi admitted, worried herself about the ExtraOrdinary Wizard.+-

Richard turned, raising a brow at Thalia. "Thalia, my dear..." The Adder chuckled darkly as he studied the group they had left. "Do I look as though I care she is 'older' than myself? Age is nothing in the grand scheme of things. It is what you do with it. Halley may well be older, but that does not excuse rudeness." It was a true enough fact. Richard never did bother with the small details.

Turning back to his path the man sighed and ran a hand through his hair. "I was nice, dear." The mutant noted with a forlorn sigh. "Or as nice as I can afford to be. I need my edge right now, wife. There is a threat and I will see that it is dealt with. For you, our child, and all you both hold dear." And he would. Richard was protective, but he was a father and a husband first. Unless you tossed in his sister, then you tacked brother right up there with the rest.

Grimspound watched the clouds above him as he mussed on the fact he had been foolish enough to press a woman to this length of annoyance. But then again it wouldn't have been the first time. Goodness knows why his mother hadn't developed grey hair yet! Looking up at the woman who was knelt next to him, Grimspound flashed a shaky and pained grin. Crossing his legs at the knee and with a good deal of effort and pain hooked his hands behind his neck.

"Learning to fly. It's all very exciting." The man wheezed as air was introduced back to his lungs. Chuckling to himself, Grimspound winked at Zekarra and tip a faux hat that was not really there. "Grimspound is the name. And I may, or may not, have annoyed one wielder of Gandr. Rune, was it? Lovely woman if a bit set in her ways and stubborn, but that's hardly her fault. I just tend to think outside the box." Wincing the man's smile faultered. "Know anyone who can Heal? I think that may be a pressing matter right now."

Richard's scaled head rose as he heard a cracking voice whisper into the room. Stretching out on the table, he slowly felt his body shifting back to human form and damn did it hurt. For all his fortitude Richard couldn't help but wince with a hissing intake of breathe. Having a kidney ripped out, took some of the fight out too. Casting an arm over his eyes in an attempt to focus on the blackness, Richard wished he had Ayita's skill with shifting. That seamless taking of forms. Oh, he envied it.

Glancing over at the shaking Dean as the boy stared at his hands, the Adder snorted in faux amusement. "You got pissed Puppy, plus from what I understand something got into your head." Shrugging absently, Richard winced as he pulled some pieces of himself that were not quite done healing. If it had just been Dean loosing his cool, oh hell yes Richard would have held it against the boy. But a funny tickle in the mind? That was another matter. "Though... Marygold I plan to have words with. Mind controlled or no." His mouth thinned to a dangerous line. "Bitch stabbed Ayita verbally where no one deserves it. My sister made a call about Lizzie's death- yes, that's who Wonderland was. She made a call and is paying the price."

Sighing Richard cast his snake eyes over at Dean with a apologetic look. "I am sorry about not telling you about Max, but I had nothing to really tell you besides the basic information. Worse, Ayita killed Lizzie, I was still with the Brotherhood then and didn't know she- Ayita- was who she was." Running his hand through his dark hair, the assassin sighed. "You got a little sister, correct? You'd do anything to protect her even from the judgement of others?" Arching a brow Richard lowered his arm over his head again. "I don't blame you, Dean. I fucked up not telling you, but I did so to protect Ayita. Getting my kidney ripped out seems just in that sense. Beats getting my arm blown off again." And he still wouldn't have told the boy, not at the cost it would put on Ayita. "You have a problem with those facts take it up with me. I could have stopped it." And he should have.

Ayita Dyrkin

The cat snarled, her fur bristling. These hunters! These judges of her as though they were better! She was just as good! Perhaps she didn't think like they did, but that just made her better! Though as her yellow eyes snapped about looking for some way out of this situation, Ayita felt her heart thunder to a stop as she peered into the gloom of the formal sitting room. Allison! A ally against these wretched hunters! Giving a yowl of delight and a call to battle, Ayita paused as she noticed another figure being hurled away from her friend. Which only meant one thing...

Something in her mind slipped and brushed away the cobwebs of anger and rage. Pulling those emotions away, she reorganized her thoughts in short order. These people were not her enemies. Though the girl, Shelly was it?, was debatable. A snarl that echoed through the night and came from human lips as Ayita shifted back. Her amber eyes gleaming. "Have your mate put his visor away, Mind-Sister. My mind is my own again, and whoever trod within shall pay dearly." Ayita sent in a rolling wave of assurance to Scott and Jean. Though well aware and careful as she did have two lasers pointed at her, Ayita sent a spearing thought to Allison keeping Jean also on the broadcast wave. "Allison, my mind is my own. Who has done this? Who threatens my mate and I?" A fleeting feeling of deep passion and love flickered towards her best friend and her mate though at different levels. Underneath was a rage that burned slow and methodical thought. This was a threat to Ayita's family and those she considered thus, the perpetrator would meet their fate and the end of her weapons.

Turning her gaze to Shelly, Ayita cocked her head with narrow eyes. "I am alone in my mind again. For what I did, I am in part sorry. Though I would advise you do not insult my family again." Turning her gaze to Scott, Ayita kept her movements slow and wary. Mistrust plain in her eyes. "I did not harm you overly much?" For all her fury before, Ayita's voice was soft and there was a strain of fear to her voice. "Then may I move again without being blasted? It makes my hide ache."

Athanasia gave Kiera a cheeky, if shaky, smile that didn't reach her dark eyes. In truth, the young girl was quite worried for her comrade and friend. Despite the age difference, Kiera was a very trustworthy and honestly kind individual. "Well, it's running or having to deal with Roman." Athanasia bolted through the door and out of the school. It did make sense that her mother wouldn't tell her, despite her constant insistence to know everything. At the end of the day Athanasia was well aware she was merely ten, and short. Useful only in her charms and wit for the time being. If her mother had withheld it, it was for her own good. Though she did suspect that 'own good' was the matter up for debate.

"You'll choke on my bones! While I haunt you with my friends!" Athanasia retorted as Roman mocked her paper ball. "And that is a very dangerous paper ball! You must never read it, oh la! You can't read! You're too dumb!" A wicked look entered Athanasia's dark eyes as she smirked slightly as she gasped for air. Her teddy-bear backpack thumping against her back giving Roman an annoyed look with it's threaded eyes. It had always been easier to carry her supplies and the added benefit of being the spy of her little revolution. Read that as 'teacher's pet that is secretly plotting evil'. "You can always prove me wrong. Kiss, kiss." Athanasia invited the Cyclops, after all Roman hadn't always been known for being the brightest bulb. Plus she was getting tired, but bless Hedge for those horrid gym classes. They were finally paying off it seemed.

Richard pinched the bridge of his nose as he sighed in annoyance. "Well, yes. By all rights that should work, but far be it from me that I am not so similar in my faith of my ability to shift as my sister." The Adder snapped slightly annoyed by Tatl, but learning to turn the young child's words into something of white noise. "Ah-Beast...?" The not-so-former assassin's attention was caught by the strange woman that appeared in the middle of the conversation and for once Richard found himself at a loss for words. After all, it wasn't often, or at all, that one considered the fact the Danger Room had a concision!

Watching the woman of wires walk away, Richard shrugged weakly. "There are some things about this place I will never get used to." He noted with a sigh of resignation. It wouldn't do for Dean to wake up still in the control of- well- whatever was controlling him, but worse yet it wouldn't do for the Puppy to finish killing him. Richard still had a long life and planned to live it. Focusing at the task at hand, he meticulously began to attempt to take the form of his namesake. While he could shift quickly, he was being extremely careful as he had just gotten one kidney ripped out, and Richard would be the first to admit he `was not as at home with his powers as Ayita. Soon there was a very slowly coiling Adder next to Dean as Richard settled in for a rest.

This form wasn't working, Ayita snarled rising on her hindlegs as she studied the trio. Charging constantly was never going to work, and darkness was falling fast. Something that would aid her in this battle of three verses one, as she would have the upperhand in the dark. Though not in this form. So Ayita began to shift, her form becoming that of a sleek tabby. If she could get close she had various forms she could take in a moment that would deal greater damage. For a minute she considered calling the three kittens of Remy's into the fray but she could not sense their presence and there was no reason to hunt them down and risk their young lives in the grand scheme of things.

Slinking through the darkness, Ayita planned her next moves. Eyeing her prey as she considered the best tactics of approach. A skunk would work quite well. A porcupine would be a horror so close. Though shifting to something with fangs and claws would be expected from her. Finally close to them, Ayita smirked the smile of a cat in cream. Springing up Scott's leg and sinking her claws into the man as she raked her hind claws into his flesh and worked herself higher and into more tender places.

"Leave them be? Their the ones trying to eat us! Us being you and me at the top of the hour'de'vous menu!" Athanasia pointed out to the slightly older Arthur. Her voice rising to a panicked squeak as a locker was pitched over Mona's head, skipping over the contents as they clattered about the floor. Though watching the paper float on Eddie's created by their retreat, the pale girl got a horrible idea. Balling up the paper in her hands told it was as tight as she could get it, Athanasia turned slightly to hurl it at Roman's line eye.

"So if we're half-blood or whatnot, then what are we half of?" Athanasia called after their goat legged gym teacher as the paper ball smacked harmlessly against Roman's chest with no effect. Even as she asked the question, the ten year old was dreading the answer. What had her mother kept from her? Why? As young as she was, Athanasia had no trouble believing in the Greek myths. What she had trouble with was- "And why do they want to eat us?"

Rhys winced as his mind was rocked by the force that was the Elder God. Most notably a pissed Elder God who had seized control of his body. Deciding that a limited silence was his best option was silence as of current, the rogue wizard kept his tongue in check. After all it did not seem at all as if Chthon was going to be accepting an apology or allow him control. Seeing how the fight had been going until recent, Rhys didn't see that as all to bad a thing.

Considering his life and his goals, Arya had been ripped away from him. His revenge, something he had desired for years, had been destroyed by this being. So what did that leave him? He had left the Wizard's Tower from desire and fear. Desire for that coveted position of ExtraOrdinary Wizard. A position he wanted and craved like nothing else. Then there was the fear. Fear born of rage. He had killed his old mentor when a word had been ill spoken about his newly, then, dead mother. A mother he had loved, when he was still capable of it. Love. Was he still capable of it? He supposed so. Else he wouldn't have gone storming off after a Queste for a son he never knew existed. Gone looking for a cure for the apprentice he didn't know was his son yet. Pah, this is why he didn't meander down these roads, they were too... turbulent for his liking.

Grimspound gave a weak chuckle. "My dear, not doing stupid things seems to have hit only me in my family." The man admitted, as he gave Runa an annoyed look. "Then again. I may be wrong." He shook his head in annoyance. "Only death cannot be challenged! The wizardress was vanished, not dead and in Valhalla yet! And when we get done shoving this annoying puffed up rooster back to whence he came- or sending to my grandmother to pluck, gods help him- I will prove my point." Jazen rolled his eyes, perhaps it was a foolish notion, but there was nothing in life barring a few things that could not be challenged.

"Of course, it's only a theory but there is some reasoning behind it. I'm not quite as daft as you." Grimspound noted with amusement, giving Runa a boyish grin and impish wink. Turning his attention to the host of the grouchy Elder God, Grimspound sighed and limped towards the battle. "Forgive me, Arnora, but I may be doing something stupid." The man noted with a growl, as he attempted to use his magic to snag onto the Elder God and pull him hurtling towards the great green man. While a wall would hurt if this worked, the green man would hit back.

Skaoi gave a small smile to the lad. Emma had risked a good deal by allowing her to see the girl, but she had needed to see. To make sure the girl was not a threat to the Castle or that she had the Sickenesse. Yes, people were aware of the symptoms and such. But they did not work around the ill and dying every day. To watch hope and life slowly drain away. She had a more imitate knowledge of it, for better or worse.

"Could you take me back to the Darke section, please? My apologies for distracting us, but I wished to make sure all was well." She whispered softly, with an apologetic look. Giving the lad a slight bow, she gestured that he should lead her on. Hopefully as well this would go unnoticed by the terrifying Young Army woman. For all the esteem that she had built up, and good will, Skaoi was still terrified of her.

Richard Laine

Location:Great Hall 9F

Richard growled in annoyance. "I don't need to sit things out. Mind you, Thalia, I was fighting long before you were a twinkle in your mother's eye." While it wasn't strictly true, he had been fighting before Thalia was. Or at least as far as he knew. "And little girls with hammers are terrifying! Besides the fact, the fights over. We've won. Now I'm going to go find who got 'Grandpa Green-Bean' all riled up and kick their ass back to Ayita's time so she can tear them a new one!" Richard groused.

Having shift back to his proper form to say all of that lacking his sister's telepathic nature, the Adder was dusting himself off as he stomped towards the door way. Pausing to give Halley a glare. "Girl, you watch your tone. He may be only half Asgardian, but lest you forget that Asgardians have been beat before by regular humans before. And you- Puppy with the strange hair-" Richard pointed at Cuyler. "Don't challenge things bigger than you. I don't want to explain to whoever your mother is you are dead. I value the pieces of myself, the wife likes." His lecture over, the former assassin stalked off towards the exit to find the trouble and put a stop to it.
