Bio

Hello~ My screen name is LadyTale, but you can call me Tale. You can also call me Chaos, if you wish. There's a bit of a story behind that nickname, but it's not one I'm likely to share. It would take too long, anyway.

I'll participate in many genres of RPs, but there are a few I avoid. Some of my favorite genres are fantasy and action/adventure, although I also like sci-fi and romance, up to a point.

I read a lot of fanfiction. An almost ridiculous amount of fanfiction, actually. If there are any fandom RPs out there for the fandoms I'm interested in, I'll most likely join.

In conclusion, I am Sherlocked, a member of Loki's Army, a Whovian, and an anime lover.

Name: Sh'fay Farspire
Age: 19
Gender: Female
Personality: Somewhat snarky and sarcastic with people she trusts. She'll only bother with tact if it's with someone she likes and/or respects; blunt to the point of rudeness with everyone else. Not given to prettying up harsh truths. If she doesn't like someone, she'll do her best to lead them in conversational circles. Competitive at times, takes pride in her abilities, never one to turn down a challenge she thinks she can win.

Bio: As a result of her mother's profession, young Sh'fay's habit of stealing candy from other kids was encouraged; she only got in trouble if she was caught. As she grew, Sh'fay learned several less-than-legal abilities, such as picking locks and pockets. After she turned 15, her mother started teaching her in combat; the use of knives and dirty tactics, mainly. They had a pretty good life, stealing together and amassing a pretty penny. Then they had to settle down in Vale. It wasn't so bad, all things considered; Sh'fay missed certain aspects of life in the city, but life in a little town was... pleasant.

Then she heard about the Ascythenia.

Ever since then, she's wanted to go back to traveling; Sh'fay doesn't put any stock in the notion of soulmates, and she doesn't particularly want one. Besides, who would want a thief/assassin for a soulmate?

Weapon: Several knives of varying sizes
Skills:
Unique -
Stealth - Sh'fay can go unseen and unheard by pretty much everyone, if she does it right.
Lock picking - given a bit of time and her tools, Sh'fay can open most locks.

Basic -
Manipulation - Sh'fay has a quick tongue that she puts to good use, to distract or manipulate others or just to amuse herself. It's also useful for haggling.
Climbing - many kids have a phase of excessive tree-climbing; Sh'fay never grew out of hers. Eventually, tree-climbing transitioned to wall-climbing.

Other: The rumors about Sh'fay's mother being an assassin at one point? Absolutely correct.
@Snarl Thanks~ it took me forever to find women's armor that wasn't horrendously impractical and immodest.
@Snarl Seems interesting. May I claim the Thief's daughter?
@CondorTheMole Welcome to the world of role playing! I'm sure we'll all have a great time.
Panic attack for Farran! Joy. Every time I write for him, I end up feeling sorry for him.
Farran Drake

Drawing back from the big man, Farran closed his eyes and tried to make himself smaller. "Stop it, stopit stopit." He muttered, breathing heavily. It was obvious that his power had caused the giant's meltdown. "Stop, damn it, stop!" Stumbling into the wall, he slid down it and ended up curled into a ball, hiding his face and trying to calm himself. It was the only way to minimize the radius of his aura of fear; unfortunately, that didn't help him much. He was never calm.
But chemistry is so much fun... why would anyone fall behind? :P

Because I'm not scientifically minded. I'm the actress of my family.

... I'm the drama llama.

Seriously though if you want some help, and you're not in the middle of a test, I'd be happy help if I can. I've tutored for College Chemistry before.

I may have to take you up on that sometime. If I need help, I'll PM you, kay?
Li Min

While others had shown their unease at the situation, Min had held true to her army training and simply stood at parade rest, face stoic, keeping a subtle eye on the people who had brought them here. The minute there was any sign of trouble, she would attack. Fortunately, there seemed to be no threat; nonetheless, she allowed a slight buildup of energy. Better safe then sorry.

By the time they reached their mysterious destination, Min had built up enough energy that anyone who touched her would receive a nasty shock. The majority of the power, she contained inside herself, however. She didn't want any more accidental deaths by her hand. Deliberate deaths, however... well, she was a soldier. If a serious threat attacked, she would use lethal force.

When the boy with the bright red hair started threatening one of the strangers, Min let out a tiny sigh and shook her head. Brave, but foolish; from a tactical standpoint, that was just stupid. Antagonizing or attempting to antagonize the person in a position of power needlessly? Idiocy. Until they knew what they were dealing with, it would be better to watch and wait.

Farran Drake

Farran had spent the entire trip with his hands in his pockets and his hood shadowing his face, trying to hide from the inevitable response to his presence. He kept his head tilted down and refused to move at all until the guards made them. Even then, he did his best to stay away from everyone, but it was no use; no matter where he was, there was never enough space between him and everyone else.

Getting to the room was a relief. Farran immediately walked as far away from everyone else as the guards would let him go, turning his back to them. Under his breath, he hummed You're Gonna Go Far, Kid to try to keep himself calm. If his emotions got the better of him, his miasma would start to leak out, cloaking the room in purple fog and frightening everyone there.

When the redheaded boy started to mouth off to a guard, Farran switched to singing softly under his breath, trying to ignore the stranger's aggressiveness. "With a thousand lies and a good disguise, hit 'em right between the eyes, hit 'em right between the eyes." He did his best to focus solely on the song, which was becoming more difficult. "When you walk away, nothing more to say, see the lightning in your eyes, see them running for their lives."

Then the redhead replied to the guard's words with hostility, and it was all Farran could do not to blanket the entire room in his miasma of fear.
@Tracyarmav Day 2, Noon

"Eh, why not?" Kip shrugged and sheathed her sword. "I brought a flask of cider from the inn. We can share it." She cast a look at Cin. "Y'know, we work pretty well together, all three of us." Aiming an amused smirk at Tsu, she added, "Should I change my weapon to a bladed staff?"
"There's no need for that." Tsu smiled slightly. "Kip has a point, though, we're a good team." He started walking towards the proposed picnic spot, Kip following.
