@Oddsbod I dunno about your situation, but what frustrates me is that the most weeaboo of characters are usually also the ones who are designed as if they were the main character of the story.

My character's name is [insert first name of well-known anime character]. His parents were tragically killed by EvilGuy, so now he travels around with his father's soul-stealing katana to avenge them. He's also a powerful fire mage and he's destined to master all four elements and save the world from certain doom. Any girl he meets seems to fall in love with him, but he's too awkward to deal with it. Can my cosmically-important character join your much more grounded and balanced group?

I don't mind weeaboo too much, but this seems to come along with it a lot of the time.

@JaceBeleren The background story you've written is really cool by the way. I feel like I should mention that, since nobody has really acknowledged it yet.

@Blueflame I see it. I could port it over for you, but then you won't be able to edit it.

Since other people will be playing your character, we'll need more information than is currently in the sheet. Namely:
- How does he fit into the setting of this RP? Demons are generally evil, so how come he isn't? How does he convince the inhabitants of Valhalla that he's a good guy and to let him enter the tournament?
- What triggers his transformations? Can he control them?
- How does he fight when in human form? Does he use weapons? Is he stronger or faster than a normal human?

Also, his Midnight form is probably too powerful for this contest, so you'd have to leave that one out.

@ArenaSnow You're right, that's why I said "the world is a big place". Really, I was asking whether it would be interesting for them to be somehow acquainted, since that's the determining factor more so than the statistical likelihood. It's also somewhat different from your real-life example, since both are among the best in the business, so they might have heard of each other by name, even if they haven't personally met.

Multiple characters might be good, especially if we get no more than four or five players. I'll start thinking about another character to bring in, in case Jace agrees.

So how about you, Snow, do you have a character in mind?

How about my third favorite species, Evvia Catgirlus! I honestly have no lore planned out for the half catgirl evvie clone other than she was created as part of experimentations with other "half animal" variations and she's one of the main ones. However, she's weaker than Cyvvie and Evvie by a lot. One half animal clone will be more powerful than the half dragon evvie, perhaps. Could be pretty cool.

Okay, I admit, I think I give Evvie way too much special treatment over my other characters but I can't help myself.

But wait, if they want other half-breeds, why go human/cat instead dragon/cat? That seems more productive. Though a dragon cat would be an uncontrollable hazard. You'd have to herd them towards your enemies with laser pointers and hope they don't get distracted and burn down your own base.

The only Evvie that's more powerful than the original: Cthevvie. Half human, half Great Old One.

@ImportantNobody So what if Zomcyvvie gets bitten by a vampire? Does she become Vamzomcyvvie the vampire zombie cyborg dragon girl, or does the vampire turn into a dragon zombie vampire?

Yeah, I didn't do my homework on Evvkind in biology class. I learned about the Evvia Evvia and Evvia Automatus species, but I'm not sure on how they interact.

There you go. Just need to add a writing sample later. This might be the edgiest character I’ve ever made. I intend to use him as a villain/anti-hero in a story at some point, so I figured this is a good opportunity to practice writing him.

@JaceBeleren Turns out our characters are in the same profession. (I hadn’t fully read your CS until I was halfway through making mine.) The world is a big place, of course, but they might be acquainted as a result.
