Not long after a few more mages arrived after Silvana, the commander of the airship approached them and greeted them as Raven Hayes. He was large and imposing in appearance, and he had eyes she'd never seen on anyone else. She was certain that she'd remember someone with red eyes other than him, but as she couldn't remember anyone else, he had to be the only one.

"Silvana Brendin, Pyromancer Firesmith Adept. I'm looking forward to the trip. I've never been on an airship before." she said with a soft smile after letting go of her pendant, leaving it hanging outside her robes. She was itching to get the trip started, but would wait until he'd instruct them to get on board.
Nina had made sure she'd be there to say farewell to her daughter, while Timothy had unfortunately needed to be at the market today of all days, but he had asked Nina to relay his farewells to her, which she of course did. There was no question about her doing so.

"You be careful now, Silvana. I wouldn't be able to rest easy if I knew of you hurt somewhere with me unable to get to you." she said as she hugged her daughter tightly.

"You don't need to worry about me, mother. I'm a big girl now, I can take care of myself. Even if I am just an Adept." Silvana said back while hugging back tightly. Both women were muscular enough to not be able to crush each other with their hugs, but still making sure that they didn't crush Silvana's pendant.

"Being an Adept isn't something to say that about. You might not be as powerful as a Weaver or a Master, but Adepts are still powerful enough in their own rights." Nina said, smiling towards her as she slowly let go of Silvana.

"But..." Silvana still wanted to become a Weaver like her mother, but it would take more time until she could become one. She simply wanted to make her parents proud of her, even though they were proud enough that she got into the Academy.

"No buts, dear. Now, have you prepared all that you need for the journey?" Nina had gone over what to bring with her the day before to make sure she was ready for today.

"Yes, mother. It's all in my bag." Silvana turned sideways to show her mother the bag hanging from her back. Nina nodded and smiled, pulling her daughter back into her arms for a final hug.

"We're going to miss you so much." she said, tears slowly crawling down her cheeks.

"And I'll miss both of you." Silvana replied, crying silently with her mother.

"We love you." Nina said, letting go after a while so that Silvana could go and join the others on the airship.

"And I love you both." Silvana said back to her mother before turning around to go towards the airship. Her mother stood there, watching her child leave before returning to her duties at the Academy.

Having dried off her tears, Silvana approached the airship where a few other mages had already made their way towards. She smiled towards them as she got closer, making sure her bag was firmly held onto her back.

"Ah, such a nice day today, isn't it? And so exciting to be traveling by airship." she said, addressing no one in particular. She grabbed her pendant for a moment, which was hanging outside her robes at the moment, holding it in her hand as she looked up at the sky.

Aeris watched in silent amusement at Gary raging at the new name his grandfather had picked up from one of the other trainers, and was very childish about whenever Gary cursed, though she knew well not to do anything that would make him turn his anger towards her. She might be hyper and her attention easily turned towards something else, but she wasn't stupid enough to make someone who was already angry even angrier.

When he addressed them to go, Aeris was quick to grab Fary's arm and drag her outside, calling back to Gary and Oak "Thanks for the Pokédex!" and joining the others who were already outside. She heard the late trainer, the one who had made Gary so angry, introduce himself and his Pokémon, and she thought to do the same, letting go of Fary's arm before she introduced herself.

"Hi!" she said in her usual hyper tone which was usually a little loud. "My name is Aeris and this little ball of fun is Lisa!" She pointed towards the small Joltik on top of her head. "Joltik!" Nice to meet you! she said to the Roselia. Lisa already considered all the new Pokémon she'd met from the other trainers her friends, and she was looking forward to meeting more.

"I don't know about you guys, but I'd rather just get out of town as soon as possible to meet new Pokémon! It's gonna be so fun!" Aeris was bouncing with each step, already slightly ahead of everyone else.
Aeris only half listened to what Gary was saying, but she pretty much got the gist of it. Travel with Pokémon, fight Pokémon, catch Pokémon, evolve Pokémon (the last thing being something she herself added in her mind). When he was done talking, she grabbed herself a Pokédex and examined it. It was really fancy and she tried all the buttons. It seemed to be idiot proof, as she had not made it fry itself from all the incessant button pressing and quickly going from one thing to another. Lastly, she scanned Lisa to see what info it would show about her.

"Oh wow, this is amazing!" Aeris said, rather loudly, and began scanning every other Pokémon she could see in the room, including Fary's Emily and Charlie's Quinn.
Before the young girl could respond to what Aeris was doing, she had quickly turned her attention to Gary Oak, who had now shown himself. She'd heard of his name, mostly because of spending some time at Fary's house when they were younger, and she was excited to meet such an important person. Not that it was noticeably any different from her usual excitement, but she hurried herself over to where he stood and stood almost right up to his face.

"Hi! Yeah, we're here 'cause we wanna become Champions! It would be sooooooo awesome! I'm gonna beat 'em all with my lil' Lisa over here!" Aeris pointed towards the jumping Joltik on top of her head. "We're gonna be unstoppable!" Aeris herself was bouncing around on her feet out of excitement. "Jol, Joltik!" Yeah, no one can beat us!
Lisa jumped on Aeris' head as Fary and Emily came closer to them, then jumped onto Emily, skittering on her head. Much like her own Trainer, she couldn't sit still for very long.
"Joltik, tik? Jol, Joltiktik!" Isn't this fun, being in a new region? So fun, gonna meet so many new Pokémon and make a party worthy of a Champion!

Aeris, in the meanwhile, observed for a moment while Fary talked to Charlie and Dan before joining in herself. "Oh, I totally forgot to mention! I'm from Driftveil City! I've been to Castelie City a few times, sometimes with Fary, and it's sooooooooo big! I almost got lost once in the sewers, but then I found my way out again. It's really really pretty at night, yeah, with all the lights and the people and the Pokémon walking around! But I prefer Driftveil because it's quieter, and there's a lot more I can do there than in the city! People apparently don't like it when you run around the streets and bump into everyone, so I just played with the Pokémon at our place, because we had a lot of Pokémon since my parents are breeders, but I didn't want to become a breeder so I decided to become a trainer instead!"

Before she could continue with whatever more she had to say, she went ahead of them into the lab, since they were relatively close to it now, and found two other people inside, a guy and a little girl. Ignoring the guy, she went down on her knees in order to pinch the cheeks of the girl. "You're so adorable, I could just squeeze the stuffing out of you, if you had stuffing!" Lisa had got back onto Aeris before she ran off, since Lisa knew her Trainer well enough by now to do that, and was jumping up and down on her head in excitement over meeting these new people.
Before she managed to answer Charlie, someone bumped into Aeris, which she didn't notice until Charlie went to help him up. She thought she remembered seeing him on the boat from Unova, especially since she'd probably seen everyone on the boat about a million times while she was bored on the way to Kanto. Can't really be too much all over the place on a boat.

"Hi!" she said enthusiastically to Danny. "I'm Aeris, and this is Lisa." She pointed towards her Joltik who was bouncing happily on top of her head. "Joltik!" she replied when her name was said. She was a little nervous, being around two Fire types, but their trainers were near, so she should be safe.

"I'm on my way to Professor Oak too! I came here with my bestest friend who's around here somewhere..." she said as she skimmed around for her. She was used to Fary being slower than her and taking her time, even though it was booooooring, but that was fine. "We came here to see the Professor together, so she should be able to find her way there." As she said it, though, she spotted her and waved towards her. "Faaaaryyyyyy! Over here!"
"Nah, you're fine, I've done it loads of times now, and it's still attached!" Aeris let go of her when they were at the front of the boat, bouncing up and down a lot as they got closer and closer, eventually stopping at the dock to let passengers off the boat and into Pallet Town. "Eeeeeee, we're here!" Aeris had all her stuff on her, so there was no need to go and get it.

Neither did Fary, so after picking up Emily and putting her in Fary's arms, because she knew that would be better than having Emily run after them, she dragged her off the boat and into town, then let go of her and starting looking around, going "Oooooooh!" every now and then while looking at everything.

"So exciting!" She could hardly contain herself from excitement, as she also looked at all the people there and their Pokémon. There were so many of them! She remembered hearing there were a lot of Pokémon while she was in the Trainer School, over 700! "I wonder if all of them are here in Kanto!"

Before she got too far in thinking about that, she spotted a boy with a Cyndaquil, which was super adorable, and took off towards him, squealing all the way to them. "EEEEEEEEE! Sooooooooo cuuuuuuute! Socutesocutesocutesocuuuuuuuuuuute!" All this time, Lisa had remained on her head, observing all that Aeris had, and finally now looking down onto the Cyndaquil in the boy's arms. "Is this your Cyndaquil? How did you get it? How long have you had it? What's its name? What's its favorite food? Color? Shape? Day? Oh, who cares, it's so adorable!"
