I'd be interested in this. That kind of levelling system would be fine with me, I think. As for the battle system, I'm not really sure. Maybe have it be more turn-based in gym battles and stuff with official rules, and less so in unofficial battles? I don't think it should be limited to just four moves though.

Whether Pokémon faint or die could be based on how much damage they take, I guess. Like if its just worn down and beaten, it could faint, but if it gets overpowered or hit by a strong attack when it was already close to fainting it would die?
Skye

So, Glasses was part of Night Raid. Scheele. Funny how the assassin chick with the freaky scissors was the good guy here. Still, what was that about Rex's gloves being an Imperial Arms? Talk about a coincidence and a half.

Anyway, she supposed she should finish off the old man. She turned and tossed the spear that she'd been holding at his head, killing him instantly if a little messily. Looks like someone smashed a watermelon. Heh. she found the thought funny in some messed-up way.

She strolled over to the others, looking at Rex with a reassuring, slightly cheerful smile. Might as well try to explain it in her own way. "Some kinda old-age super weapons. They've all got special abilities and stuff. 'Bout all I know."

Speaking of that, she realised she'd left hers stuck through the dead guy. She put her hands out, willing the spears to fly into them. "Pretty funny we all ended up meetin' like this though, huh? Not every day you meet some other sucker with one of these things."

Tatsumi

Sayo was dead. God, it looked like she'd been torn to pieces! And Ieyasu was... "They did this? he was angry. So angry, that it didn't even feel like anything at all.

"It's a lie! I didn't know!" Aria yelled, maybe sensing his fury. "Tatsumi..." he looked up at Ieyasu, who seemed to be using the last of his strength just to speak. "They invited us...Sayo and me. That girl - she tortured her to death!" Anger took him over.

Aria started ranting and raving. Worthless, country hicks. That was what she called them. The assassins seemed to be preparing to take her out, but he stopped them. "Wait." he walked over to Aria, slowly. "I'll kill her." he said coldly, tearing his sword out of its sheath and slicing her open. He didn't even notice the lion-woman looking at him curiously. Didn't even hesitate... Hmm.

Taatsumi ran into the shed and grabbed onto Ieyasu, tears streaming down his face.
@Lost Cause Would you be interested in pairing Erica up with Caster now she's done?
Kazuma Nakamura

It certainly was dark in the catacombs, Nakamura reflected, as he finished his preparations. It seemed appropriate for what he was doing, and the servant he hoped to summon. Maybe that particular goal made him as mad as his target. Just a couple of mad people, lost in the darkness and never to be found. He shivered, pulling his jacket closed around his shoulders. It wasn't warm either. Felt as though the town itself was tense, waiting in anticipation.

He smiled to himself as he completed the circle. He knew he was powerful enough for this. Heretics they may be, but his family were still old, and his power reflected that. Once his servant was summoned, and he'd taken the Grail, he'd never have to hide away in the darkness again. Looking over his work one last time, his smile widened. Now he just needed to remember his chant.

The difficulty, of course, came with making sure he received his intended servant and making sure said servant didn't tear him apart. He had the feeling that his ritual wasn't perfect, so it would take a great deal of magic power to ensure it worked correctly. Problems that resulted from his family's separation included a lack of teaching in certain areas.

"The alighted wind becomes a wall. The gates in the four directions close, coming from the crown, the three-forked road that leads to the kingdom circulate.
Shut (fill). Shut (fill). Shut (fill). Shut (fill). Shut (fill).
Repeat every five times.
Simply, shatter once filled."

It actually didn't seem too bad to begin with, although he could feel perhaps a slight strain. He knew it would get much more difficult once his alterations came in.

"Your self is under me, my fate(doom) is in your sword.
In accordance with the approach of the Holy Grail, if you abide by this feeling, this reason, then answer."

Now. He had to change it, to ensure that he would receive his intended servant, even without a catalyst. Hopefully his incantation would work. He'd translated it himself, loosely, from texts that his family had 'borrowed' from the Mages Association.

"You will serve as a slave to madness.
For you would be made a prisoner of bloodlust.
I will be the one to conduct your rage."

He felt it, suddenly. The burning amplified, as the power increased. It was all he could do to avoid crying out, his magic circuit struggling to handle the power. But he had to finish the ritual, he had to summon this Servant, even if it damn near killed him. It was the only way for him to punish the Mages' arrogance.

"You, seven heavens clad in three words of power, arrive from the ring of deterrence, O keeper of the balance-!"

With that, the pain spiked harshly as the summoning truly began, but he looked up at the site, unable to safely rest quite yet. If he did not make it know him as its master, then he would be in much more pain shortly and probably significantly less alive. Red mist coated the site of the summoning, leaving him unable to see the face of his servant. He spoke with authority and stubborn determination to hide his pain.

"Heroic spirit, whoever you may be, hear me speak! My name is Kazuma Nakamura, and I tell you this."

Standing up straight again, some of his usual confidence returned to his voice as the pain truly faded, his servant summoned.

"I am your master!"
FINE. You guys win this time. I'm gonna start my own party, and it's gonna be better than everyone else's!

And I'm keeping my flower crowns, dammit! And my murder cats. No-one else gets any. >:(
@Bourgeoisie Of course not! Berserker will make flower crowns for all the guests. And then maybe rip them in half, but hey, free flower crowns! Really, it's a win-win situation for everyone involved.

And I'll have you know that the furniture is very tasteful, thank you very much. It's not my fault that the ribs made such a good lampshade.
@Bourgeoisie I have no idea what you're talking about >_> I am a peaceful person. Nakamura's having a tea party.

It'll have drinks, nice furniture, possibly cats, and absolutely no brutal murder, explosives or poisoned snacks that would kill someone within a few hours. NONE. Honest.
@VitaVitaAR Nakamura and Berserker are officially partnered up too!
@Pie Flavor I've gotten nothing for Caster so far anyway, so I'm open to discuss partnerships!
Unless you're not happy with having what is basically a rabid attack dog for a Servant, and if @Lost Cause isn't interested in being paired up with Nakamura, I'm fine with that. XD

@Rin I'd be happy to go with Berserker, then! That was kinda my first choice of servant anyway.

Also most of you are from tvtropes right?

I've not really touched TVtropes either, so nope on that front :P
