Hmm, a civilization that places far too much of an emphasis on a meritocracy based on something as barbaric as kildcount and is a major proponent of slavery? The Republic gleefully denies the offer, and instead arms its trade and assault cruisers alike with rifles specifically fitted to tear off six appendages at once.

Because everyone hates the X'Cor.

I cri evry tiem

So no one wants a little alliance? No one at all?

@Hael

Why do I feel everyone hates the X'Cor?
The X'cor really have some mental problems.

1) They are a race of warlike bug people who's very culture is about slavery
2) Slavery
3) Imperialism

Yeah. They're either going to die or they're going to have to accept the fact that the world beyond their now exploded home is a dangerous place where weapons have to be brought to bear.

They're not going to be happy about their fate, whichever fate it is.

Don't worry, the X'Cor simply wish to capture the remaining survivors and put them into concentration peace camps.
Yikes, this thread is moving on fast. Still concepting my nation and race. Yipes, I gotta catch up.

By all means, take your time. Not everyone is finished. Shorticus has outclassed my form, thus I must regain my honour by committing Sepukku
I'll post it once it's prepared. I'll be taking my time with it.

That's right - in fact, the Namilee will probably speak out in defense of the X'cor, as insane as that sounds, pushing for some sort of peaceful negotiations with them.

I haven't decided if the Namilee even want weapons. As they see it, destroying their homeworld to destroy the X'cor fleet and being forced to wipe out swathes of their own people in the process just to save ten thousand lives was a terrible sacrifice, one full of regret. The vast majority of the Namilee are utterly traumatized by this and the events of the war. Pretty much everyone on the fleet is undergoing psychological counseling.

They don't want to unleash that same trauma on other species.

Little do they know the fleet could be rebuilt rather easily! MASS PRODUCTION BICHES
Kazzlehorf is the strongest.

Keep telling yourself that, bud.

because im a monster thats secretly a huge fan of terrifying tragedies

It's the fact they want to help the X'Cor find peace. God, that is so f*cking noble. To bad I didn't take slaves, mainly because you guys wouldn't fight, still. Though, they are a physically useless species to the X'Cor they need stronger slaves.
This is what I have thus far.

Also, have some mood music.

EDIT: And yes, I plan on these guys being super pseudo-pacifists. I'm tentative to give them any weapons to start with at all.

WHAT IS THIS FEELIN WITHIN MY CHEST?! WHY DO I FEEL LIKE A MONSTER!

That's because I am! BUT THIS FEELING!
