Judging from a few of the interactions that took place below, Rastun has a vague feeling that Brainwave is getting annoyed by everything going on at the moment. He can't blame him, but Rastun felt the same way soon after he first met Brainwave and Megatron, the latter of whom going by the alias of Joe Convoy. Clearly, this is something that needs to be commented on.

"Brainwave, as much as I hate to use the cliched 'welcome to my world' line, I feel it's rather appropriate now," he says, then adds, "I hope you enjoy your stay, because you likely won't be leaving it for a long time."
Rastun looks at the display below and is mildly amused. He'd never think this Megatron, or any Megatron for that matter, would be called a queen of all things. Perhaps there is some gender issue he's missing? Well, he can make commentary on that later. As for the new Cybertronian below, he doesn't seem to be armed with weapons of any sort. The fire extinguisher is probably the best he has. Hopefully those two can make some use of him. He continues flying overhead and would alert them once he spots any sign of disturbance.
"While you two check news sources, I'll go ahead and scout the area," Rastun responds. His Astafanel then takes to the skies and flies overhead, looking for any disturbances. So far, everything looks typical for a city with this size and population. The most notable thing Rastun has spotted so far is a rather out of place gummy bear vending machine. He continues his recon, hoping to find something of substance.
Rastun looks at the hole where the cave used to be. Before this, he didn't think this country could get any more wrecked than it already was. The universe seems bent on proving him wrong, it seems.

"We should leave before they start pointing fingers then," Rastun responds. Though he does wonder what happened with those walking buildings...

Jace Dager after awakening on this far away planet found his Mecha being strapped to a rocket by the indigenous sentient beings.
Their leader Wreck Gar had his hand on a switch which Deger assumed controlled the rocket.

“Please don’t….do this!” Jace whimpered

Wreck Gar seemed to not even notice his pleas for mercy from his cockpit

“10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1 Rangers in space!” Wreck Gar announced as he pressed the button
The Junkacons began singing with him

“Blast controls to outer space now, flying higher than ever before, ranger In space! Go power rangers go power rangers go power rangers ,go go go fly! Go power Rangers go Power rangers ehhhhh in space!”
The White Emperor was sent flying into the sky and into the atmosphere.

“AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!” Jace screamed in terror as the rocket blasted off to god knows where.


In the depths of space

With his mech ruined and no help in sight, Jace is completely helpless, floating aimlessly in the void. There is nothing he can do aside from accept the inevitable death that awaits him. As he looks at the blackness of outer space, Jace felt strangely at peace. These recent events have been a humbling experience for him and there was a certain appropriateness about his final fate. His most current defeats were far from glorious last stands and it stands to reason that his life's end would be a quiet one.

However, fate has other ideas.

A being covered in shadow, with only a pair of red eyes to distinguish itself from its surroundings, appeared out of nowhere and came ever closer to Jace. The pilot of the White Emperor desperately tried to get his machine to work, but to no avail. He couldn't escape this entity, no matter what he did. The darkness-clad figure gestured towards the White Emperor, black tendrils erupting from its hand speeding straight towards the mech. It wrapped the White Emperor and seeping through its cockpit, they did the same to its pilot. Jace screamed and struggled, but all for naught. As the darkness took hold, all his sense of self, his free will, is smothered and snuffed out. His White Emperor began to change, becoming bulkier, then blades suddenly began materializing on its wrists. When the metamorphosis was completed, the shadows that once covered the mech dissolved away, revealing a new one in its place.

Jace has indeed died this day.

The being who once called himself by that name could feel new power thundering within him, power he never knew possible. Soon, he would test his new strength, all in service to the great being who stood before him.
Rastun agrees with Brainwave and immediately speeds out towards the cave's exit. He dodges the falling stalactites in his way while maintaining his fastest possible speed. After several minutes of constant evasion, he finally makes it out of the cavern. As for his two acquaintances, Rastun assumes they're right behind him. They should be fast enough to escape a cave-in and he doubted they'd want to suffer the indignity of being literally carried by him. Presumably, there's nothing left in Carbombya worth investigating. Leaving this nonsensical nation can only be a positive step towards their goal.

Tarantulas instinctively shielded his head from Rastun's blindside barrage. This reaction didn't last long and he prepared to retaliate against the Astafanel. Fortunately Megatron had an idea after seeing the structural damage to the cave. With the spider distracted he overcharged his shoulder mounted cannon. This was going to burn it out but he couldn't resist this idea. Both Tarantulas' and Megatron's attacks finished charging simultaneously and right as Unicron's spawn launched his assault Megatron fired. The glow from the approaching beam drawing the spiders attention.

"What the..."

Before he could finish another though the oversized beam hit its mark sending him flying across the cave and slamming him into the wall. The explosion shaking lose several large rocks in various places. Grinning Megatron activated his wrist mounted blaster and fired upon a rather large bolder above Tarantulas completely dislodging it. Looking up to see the large rock falling towards him the spider could only groan in annoyance as it landed on its mark.

"And that is how you deal with a really annoying bug." The Predacon gloated. "And just like old times to boot."

Intrigued by this statement Brainwave inquired. "Are you saying you regularly used boulders as weapons? That seems awfully primitive... Even for you."

Megatron's expression soured. "See that's the problem with you Transtechs, you think technology is the answer to everything so you overlook far simpler solutions."

"Interesting theory but giant rocks aren't going to stop Unicron." The Transtech countered.


Thanks to Megatron's attack, the spider's blasts missed their mark by a rather wide margin. Not wanting to be caught off guard, Rastun still didn't turn his back on the now buried arachnid. He still kept his weapons pointed at him and entertained the thought of collapsing the entire cave just to make sure, but after a few seconds, he relaxed and the thought passed. If he suddenly bursts out of the rock for a sneak attack, Rastun can rely on his now available time dilation to get out of harm's way.

Brainwave's mention of Unicron reminded Rastun that he has to read the file that was sent to him in its entirety. It had data on not only Unicron himself, but on some of his followers as well, the latter of which he still has yet to glance at. This information must be shared with the Overseer heads too, once Rastun gets back into his own timeline. High Command mentioned spacetime fluctuating in a way that makes communication temporarily possible from this timestream, but so far, there is no indication of that happening. The Overseers have somehow compensated for the Post-Slam timeline's unstable nature, making communication with their agents possible, no matter what era they're in for that particular timestream. However, Post-Slam to Pre-Slam communication and vice versa is still impossible for them.

On more current issues, there is still the matter of figuring out what exactly will cause the Slam in the first place. Preventing it may not be possible, but perhaps steps towards a solution can be gained if the cause is known.

Bio: Standing at over seven feet tall, shrouded in black robes, and adorning a bone-white mask with only a red mechanical eye at its center, the man who calls himself Lord Valric is an imposing figure. More worrying than his size are his psionic powers. His telekinesis can crush even the toughest alloys, his telepathy allows him to instill fear and terror into the minds of his enemies, and some have sworn he is able to teleport. The origin of Valric's powers, and of Valric himself, are of constant debate. Is he some sort of new engineered Newtype gone rogue? Or is he a different, and superior, breed of man? Perhaps not even a man at all, but one who merely adopts his guise. No one truly knows, but what is known is that he runs a large ring of spies and assassins called the Shadow Hand. Infiltration and information gathering would be their obvious specialties. For every Shadow Hand member caught, there are at least ten more running around. Judging by their actions, Valric's Shadow Hand is aiming for gradual, systematic takeovers of various polities, destroying them from the inside out.

Valric himself is a cold and methodical man whose control over his emotions are inhuman. If he has ever felt happiness or anger, no one has known about it. For all his seemingly passionless ways, Valric does happen to be a firm believer of meritocracy. No matter who or what you are, as long as you serve him well, you will have a place among his Shadow Hand.

Description: Like with Valric himself, the origins of his Aldursheim are unknown. What can be gleamed from the few times it has been seen is that it somehow boosts Valric's powers, making him able to use his telekinetic powers on other mechs and it can also channel his psychic power into bolts of lightning. It can also shed its armor for additional speed and if he wishes, Valric can convert the Aldursheim's armor into a gigantic sword.

Carbombya: The Spider's Cave

Tarantulas realized he'd have to be more careful with Megatron and the Transtech. They'd managed to pull off a combo attack without saying a word to one another. If Brainwave had any more gadgets to try things could get tricky. It suddenly occurred to him the third member of the group was strangely... absent from the scuffle. Turning to see what the Overseer was up to he noticed not only had the Astafanel put a considerable distance between them but it was preparing to fire a massive cannon.

"Like hell!" Acquiring a target lock he prepared to unleash a missile barrage on the not sitting duck. Luckily Megatron recognized the posture he was switching to and took the opportunity to body check the now distracted spawn of Unicron. The missiles still went flying though significantly off course. Unfortunately though they missed the shockwave from the explosions was still enough to send Rastun flying.

Tarantulas regained his balance from Megatron's blindside attack. "You three are actually starting to get on my nerves."

"Then I'm sure you're really going to enjoy this." Came a voice from the far side of the cave.

"Oh no..." Realizing he took his focus off the Transtech too long Tarantulas turned to see what he had done this time. He was just standing there... with a small device in his hand. Like he expected it to matter. "What exactly is that supposed to be?"

"See for yourself." And with that the device activated. It was only a split second before the spider realized his error in ignoring Brainwave and just what that device was. It was designed to incapacitate people wielding Unicron's power by hitting them with a massive feedback surge on Unicron's frequency. The more they fight it, the stronger the feedback gets.

Falling to his knees in pain Tarantulas was all but disabled for the moment. Never one to waste an opening Megatron instantly kicked him adding insult to injury.

"Look at you. Coming into this thinking you were invincible. And now you're at my mercy, YES!" Rolling the spider on his back Megatron stomped on his chest. "It's going to be fun beating on you till that armor cracks while you can't do anything about it!"

If only it were that easy... Tarantulas dug for all of his strength and channeled his Vok powers discharging energy beams from both hands right into Megatron before he could react sending him flying into the air.

"Oh shit..." Was the only response Brainwave could give as Megatron could be heard screaming on his way down. Right as Megatron landed the spider released a second omnidirectional discharge sending the entire group flying yet again. It also caused sizable structural damage to the cave as several large cracks formed in the walls.

"I have had about ENOUGH of all of you!" Bellowed the infuriated spawn of Unicron.


The Astafanel uses its thrusters to prevent itself from being fully blown away and eventually regains its balance. Clearly, things are not going the way the arachnid thought they would.

Well, at least that was a partial success.

The spider is in a rage now, and Rastun is running out of ideas. So he does the only thing possible and fires on the enemy. The Astafanel unleashes a barrage of energy blasts from its eyes and wrist cannons, likely not doing much damage. If he retaliates with those energy beams, Rastun will just have to dodge and fire back until another opportunity presents itself.
Carbombya: The Spider's Cave

Yes, because he'd actually overlook his eyes while he makes the rest of his body invulnerable.

Rastun would have said that aloud, but this isn't time to be bantering. It's obvious that they need to think of something to deal with this arachnid. Brainwave is more than likely thinking up of another plan, but whatever his idea is, it would be useless without the time to implement it. So Rastun decides to give him time. He dashes away from the enemy to give himself yet more space between them, and when he stops, he deploys the Astafanel's ultimate weapon; the Existence Reversal Cannon. Its chest plate opens up, revealing its trump card. The ERC needed several seconds of charge time and to make it worse, the Astafanel has to be stationary as it gathers power and it's also unable to utilize its other time-related abilities. Very impractical for this situation, but the point is not hitting him with it. No, the point is to be the bait as he charges it up while Brainwave does whatever he's going to do.

The Astafanel proceeds to divert massive amounts of temporal energy to the ERC, likely displaying a massive spike in power readings to the spider's sensors. This should undoubtedly attract his attention. Hopefully Megatron keeps him busy as this happens while Brainwave completes his plan in time, and maybe join Megatron while trying to implement his actual strategy. This needs to appear as genuine as possible.
