So much rivalry and tension to exploit. Nyehehehe
Blerp. I'll be playing an organisation beyond former Republic space, but who has influence within it...
Can you folks take that to PMs? :P
How about a magazine-fed gun that fires at 550 RPM from 50-round box magazines? Or you could just use a Gatling gun?
For reference, the fastest firing gun today is the Gryazev-Shipunov GSh-6-23 Gatling-type machine gun with an RPM of around 10,000.
I still have trouble with you thinking that having a gun with a nominal RPM of 3,000 is perfectly logical.
Well, the rest of the world might as well roll over and surrender right now before the RP begins, looking at that China.
Sure I play the Netherlands and have Indonesia. But the Netherlands are small in Europe and I dont have the population to compete with the likes of Germany and France, thus this advantage balances out. If people still think it wouldnt be fair then I am willing to give up on Indonesia and let it be an independent state or I'll pick another country. It's just that I dont think that it's fair to countries like Germany, France, Russia, the UK and the US to have to rely on trade to get their blue coal while another major European power just happens to have the largest concentration of blue coal in their backyard.

Now the Dutch are one of the most industrialised nations in Europe. Being one of the only nations with direct acces to massive Blue Coal mines they have the ability to rival any other nation. Their navy being one of the most modern and it’s army being one of the best drilled they are a force to be reckoned with. Though pasifict by nature, waking this sleeping lion might be a bad idea.

Which is it to be, sunshine?
Considering playing as a rebel faction... there isn't enough communism here, is there?

Communism... eh, the socio-political conditions necessary for a proletarian revolution aren't quite there in 1866. There's still a lot of reactionary feudalistic powers in the world still (Germany, Japan, China, most likely Eisenkreis though I'm not sure, and still sort of Russia though it's modernising and liberalising), and there's not been a real true disaster on the scale of WWI, which was what sparked the rise of communist revolutionaries in Russia, Germany and Western Europe.

But I guess it's not totally out of the picture, just hard to see it happening.
Done some more work.
