I simply had nothing good to post immediately, and the inactivity kind of made me forgot that this existed. I could post, but I don't know if it will help. If the GM is gone, then I am invested in this rp enough to try to revive it.
Right now, I am meh about this. If it gets restarted, I will probably join so long as I am able, but I probably won't activately try to revive it.
Boulders. Natus has one way of dealing with falling boulders: Get out of the way.

He prefers his targets to be.. more fleshy and vulnerable to ankle stabbings. Boulders don't even have ankles.
@KoL

Is it bad that is the first thing I thought about? The Finis love their jerky, efficient and clean and sometimes like times like this, a reminder of the time they brutally murdered an animal to consume its flesh.
Natus is probably in a better position than most to defend Wagnil. However, I just posted, and I honestly don't think that Natus would prioritize helping him. He probably cares a lot more about the mysterious, possibly unholy, stranger, then some scavengers after the dead-weight.
If he really wanted to be stealthy, he would never wear black, or white, to begin with. He would use camouflaged clothes, since pure colors look unnatural against any background.

Either way, he can have it, if you want to, as long as he doesn't carry more pieces of clothing on his back pouch than a renegade member of the Snake family. Also, if you plan to put it on, he'll have to undress on his next post, since he won't change clothes magically on the background. Keep that in mind.

On an unrelated note, I'll be posting this weekend as said before. Very much likely tomorrow, if not, then on Sunday.

I think he carries two extra set of clothes usually, and wears black as the default since it helps him blend against anything if it is dark, where as if wears camouflage, then he will have to constantly to match the background: He would have to wear green in the forest, then switch to a more brownish or grey camouflage for rock surfaces, etc. I am not saying he doesn't have a camouflage gear in his closet, but that would be something he would wear if he had a mission where he is only in one specific type of terrain.

Also, yes he would have to change clothes, though I keep imaging him finding a way to put one on while taking the other off. I don't think that is physically possible but I just have that image in my head.
Though, is heavy snow something we would of excepted of the time of year and something that would be considered when planning this expedition? If so, I image that Natus would have packed a white version of what he normally wears. He doesn't just carry it around with him, but if he thought there was a sizable probability that it was going to snow, and snow hard, he would know that black isn't the best color to be wearing.
Natus had heard faint noises coming from behind, however he had yet hear a signal or sounds of battle, so he decided to keep with his forward scouting. Whenever he observed Leblanc head back towards the group, he sighed.

To keep moving forward alone would be dangerous, not due to any enemy other than forces of nature. This weather could prove much more lethal then common grunts. He moved back towards the group, but he did not engage unlike his blood-thirsty companion. Instead, he watched both the front to make sure that no enemy would surprise the group from the direction he was scouting, and the rear in order to provide aid if necessary. In addition, he tried to aware of every direction, as it seemed the group was surprised by a group of possible enemies from the side. It was harder to concentrate on having full awareness of his surrounding in the storm, and it natural blocked some of his perception, but it was possible that there was more enemies yet seen.

The House Finis has rules, not of morality or civil service, but of effectiveness in hostile situations, the first of which is "Carelessness inevitably leads to death."
I am not sure if Natus would be a part of this scene. I think I will keep him out of it unless some makes some type of signal, loud noise or bright light. Natus would not be the person to go to far ahead, he doesn't trust this group to stay alive without his help.
I don't. I just call him Tiz.
