I see you have started work on you CS, and I will just go ahead and mention that the power is probably to strong. If you just want the astral projection part of power, that would be fine, in fact you probably could fit something else in with it.
However, the possession thing is interesting, but if you go down that route, you are probably not also going to be able to have astral projection with it, and it will probably need strict limitations.
In this RP, you play local exorcists in Seattle of the new step-site recently created to handle a recent surge of ghostly activity. This RP primarily focuses on exorcists down-time with in the step-site, and the missions they go on. Your characters will face ghosts, other mediums, and even some governmental bureaucracy.

Exorcists are tasked with protecting the citizens from ghosts, and to aid in maintaining law and order, in particular dealing with rogue mediums.
Mediums are provided free room and board at their local SEO branch step-site and are provided a reasonable allotment for their work, mostly but not entirely based on their license rank and time in service. Exorcist have a responsibility to follow a code of conduct while representing the SEO.
Bronze, Iron and Silver licensed mediums have no defined work-schedule, but are instead assigned tasks that must be completed before a deadline. In addition, Silver and sometimes Iron licensed mediums are expected to be react to emergencies as soon as possible.
As a licensed exorcist you are granted certain privileges to use your medium abilities, however the SEO reserves the right to monitor your use of power and take action if there is misconduct. The SEO is not responsible for any damages or injuries that occur when a medium uses their power in a way not officially sanctioned by the SEO.
Ghosts are the disembodied souls of the dead. Records of ghosts have been dated back to prehistoric times. The existence of ghosts are common knowledge, however many people outside of the exorcist community have little to no understanding about them.
In order to exist within the mortal plane ghosts require one or more anchors, a physical object with the ghost has a deep spiritual attachment to. The ghost’s former body almost always survives as an anchor. The ashes of the cremated can also serve as an anchor, albeit one that is weaker than a normal corpse. However crematoriums can be as haunted if not more haunted than graveyards.
Most ghosts are harmless, however a high concretion of ghostly activity or a single power ghost can pose possible dangers. Ghosts are not quite like normal souls as they have been inflicted with a mysterious energy from behind the veil, which can be a source of strange powers or deviations in behavior. It is of note that most ghosts are able to influence items that they are spiritually connected to, but the mere presence of ghosts can disrupt radio waves and electrical objects.
Completely banishing a ghost is near impossible feat but ghosts can be trapped inside certain objects and rendered harmless, however this is usually unnecessary.
When a young person experiences the death of a spiritually significant person or experience the death of many people in a small frame of time, they can potentially become a death-bounded person through an event known as a DBE (Death-binding event) Death-bounded persons have a limited sense of supernatural energy. The event that causes a death-bounded person to become a medium is know as “Reaching beyond the Veil”, and is often described in highly emotional terms that can vary from anger, despair, fear, or even happiness. This event can occur purposefully whenever a death-bounded person attempts to reach out into the spiritual world for the first time, or accidentally whenever a death-bounded person enters a place that has a heightened amount of spectral energy.
Mediums have a full sense of spectral energy, being able to easily detect it and they are able to influence it and ghosts using their force of will. In addition, moderately trained mediums often develop weak supernatural abilities such as minor telekinesis, minor pyrokinesis, and other abilities. Additional training can increase the degree of the power and control over their abilities.
The SEO (Spectral Energy Organization) is a multinational agency with representatives from the US, Canada, Brazil, Britain, France, Germany, Egypt, Japan, Australia, and South Korea. It was founded shortly after the formation of the UN. It is often called the partially derogatory term, “Spectral Corp”. The core leadership is known as the Central Authority and all members of the CA are elected from high ranking members of the SEO by the member states.
The SEO licenses all official exorcists within the listed countries, there are multiple tiers of licenses each with their own duties and privileges.
Bronze: Also known as the provisional license. They are the most limited in function and are only allowed to perform low-level rituals. They are response for handling many of the daily operations.
Iron: Elevated about Bronze tier, they are still limited in the functions they are allowed to perform. However, they are permitted to do most common forms of rituals.
Silver: The main work-force of the SEO. They are permitted to perform almost any rituals except the most advanced versions and those that are universally illegal. The are tasked with most public requests, standard ghost evaluations, and regular exorcisms.
Gold: Also known as Branch-leaders. They organize and command the lower ranking exorcists within his assigned step-site.
Platinum: Also known as Region-leaders. They organize and command multiple gold licensed exorcists.
Diamond: Also known as Nation-leaders. They are one step below the Central Authority. They organize and command multiple platinum licensed exorcist.
There are also several speciality licenses, most notably the inspector license which permits the agents to handle internal affairs and former-SEO rogue mediums. They report directly to Diamond exorcists.
On this date, a group of medium terrorist known as, “The Hallowed Court” broke away from the SEO and unleashed many dangerous ghosts keep in containment and attempted but failed to destroyed the Independence Hall. This event is used by the SEO as justification for stricter rules about the conduit of mediums.
This is a list of commonly noted items by exorcists, the list is not exhaustive.
Silver/ Wood from a Willow/Holly/Birch Tree: While they are unable to harm ghosts, these materials are particularly resistant to ghostly powers.
Salt: Most ghosts are incapable of crossing lines of salt, and generally show adverse reactions to coming in contact with it. The purer the salt, the more potent. Rocksalt is the exorcist salt of choice. Common Iodized salt is particularly weak.
Holy Water: A term given to describe pure, chemical H2O. Ghosts show a generally adverse reaction to coming in contact with it, and it is often used to help cleanse objects of spectral energy.
Common Sage/Rosemary/Holly: Commonly used in incense that can ward off ghosts and help stabilize rituals.
Graveyard Dust: Soil that comes from graveyards. It use is highly regulated, as it can attract ghosts and be used in illegal rituals.
Various Gemstones: Crystals and gemstones have been noted to have certain effects on mediums and ghosts depending on the type of crystal/gemstone whenever they are a very short distance. Some gemstones are also useful for rituals.
Q. When is this RP set in? A. Early Spring, 2017.
Q. Is history the same despite having ghosts? A. For the most part, yes. However, the current leaders of each country are fictional characters.
Q. Is it limited to just ghosts, or is there other elements of the supernatural (IE: Werewolves, Vampires) A. The focus is on ghosts and mediums, however that is not to say that no other supernatural presences exists. However, there will not be werewolves or vampires as to not to distract from the main premise.
