Haruki is once again, lost at what to say. He's usually grinning easily and physically affectionate to his friends (if he has any), but Akane was kind of...creepy. Haruki didn't mind her much at first since she looks like the quiet type, but when Haruki looked at her and saw her face and heard her say she likes him, he softens and decided that he likes her, too. Then she saw her arms and felt her grip, and then right there, Haruki was experiencing the chills in his spine. Something he didn't expect to feel, being a boy who could see dead people. He was slightly grateful when Akane followed a someone's advice and loosened her hold, not by much, but it's progress for Haruki.

"...can I...call you Senpai?"

Haruki heard Akane say, and wonders what is she going with this, because Haruki has no slightest idea what is going on. He grins and pats her head affectionately. "Sure you can, Akane,"

While Haruki is pretty sure he won't be able to use his one arm for a while, and he has this feeling that he may someday regret that decision, the girl hasn't done anything harmful on purpose so she must be nice, right? Ever the optimist, I am.

"How come Ren gets offered a chance to see a dead body?" Seth's outburst surprised Haruki. He blinks at the mention if a dead body. He ignores Seth's question on what part of the school they want to see. Haruki has been spotting a couple of ghosts in the school, but he didn't manage to meet them with the tour and Akane attaching herself to him. Haruki raises a hand politely to ask a question to Seth. "Quick question: do you know how exactly old the school is?" he asks, really wanting to know and making a mental reminder to research more about the school. Interesting city. Must mean interesting school, right?
Victoire was having too much fun that what she should have in this mission. Wearing a yellow and red yukata with floral patterns, Victoire was trying out every single booths, savouring the Japanese summer festival experience. However, she was unfortunately banned from the shooting range. As if she didnt't have earned enough looks from people, with her obviously foreign looks. Getting banned from the shooting range slightly made her a little sad, having made to leave her FAMAS F1 rifle at her apartment since she couldn't bring that weapon here without earning unwanted and unnecessary attention, but she's not as foolish not to bring any weapon to defend herself if the situation arises by chance. The French woman managed to bring herself an Apache revolver, a gift from her father.

A handgun, knife and brass knuckles all in one! Thank you so much, Dad! she thought, too brightly as if receiving a weapon to kill for her birthday from her father is something to be normally happy about. Alas, she is one of the children of the mafia, after all.

She walked around, scanning the shops and booths, when she saw at the corner of her eye the familiar face of the next Vongola Boss. She inwardly smiled and subtly kept an eye on him, keeping her own distance, but not leaving him out of her sight, yet she never stares directly. Looks like I have to lessen enjoying for now and observe the Eleventh, she thoughtfully muses. Then there's the new Varia member I heard. How coincidental.
Haruki has a blank face when Maggie "teleported" to a building then back again. ...really? But she just did parkour right there, he thought, perplexed. "To each to his own," he muttered then brightened up. "Awesome!" He gave her a thumbs-up. However, when she just suddenly curled up in pain again, he flinched nervously in surprise. Oh boy, here we go again.

He was about to ask if she's okay (probably not), he was in for another surpise when he felt a pair of arms grabbing his own. “I like you.”

"Huh?" Haruki stared at the soft-spoken girl gazing at him curiously. At that, Haruki felt different kind of emotions, but to name a few, disbelief, joy, with a tint of fear and pain. No one has really liked him before, but this girl just suddenly told him out of the blue that she does, and that makes him happy. But the way she grips his arm is kinda scary. For a girl around his age, she has a tight grip. A painful one, too.

"Really? Thank you!" Haruki beamed happily and quickly hugged the girl with his one free arm and let go. "But I don't know your name yet. My name is Haruki." He tried to loosen the girl's vice-like grip on his arm, but to no avail.
Haruki could only let himself sigh in relief when Yoshino decided to let him off the hook because he was new. He realized that he has been holding his breath the whole time Yoshino has been there, and becomes slightly embarassed that he was scared of her, but still, Haruki has seen gentler eyes in a vengeful ghost. He lets himself follow her anyway, and she's not that bad when she lets him out of trouble in the first day, right?

Haruki thought that things are probably going to get a little peaceful for now, though he can't help but wonder what's happened in the hostage situation, but Haruki is pretty sure he doesn't want to know about that certain event. Unfortunately, fate certainly was in the mood to prove him wrong when suddenly the girl who kept appearing and disapearing out of nowhere appeared once again, and seems to have gotten the idea that Yoshino is bullying them.

That's funny. I wouldn't call her a bully. Her anger is justified since she's the Student Body President and we're late. Where did she get that idea? Yes, she intimidated me, that's obvious, but it's not...malicious, for a lack of better word.

That was in his mind. He thought Hikaru was about to intervene, but changed his mind. While his thoughts are what he should've said, he also decided to change his mind like Hikaru. Instead, he asks, "Hey miss, if you do not mind me asking...why do you keep showing up and running away? And that cool parkour thing too! That was awesome, how'd you do that?" He asks the girl like an overly-curious child, when he could've cleared up the situation. Nope.
Victoire walks around curiously around town, smiling slightly at the sights Namimori has to offer. It was very refreshing for her to be in this place, the place where the Vongola Decimo grew up. While Victoire is wondering why the Vongola Family has to send someone from the Varia instead of their own agents to observe the next generation of the Vongola, but it's not like Victoire to question orders, so she didn't. The minute Victoire stepped out of the airport, anyone would figure out that she is not Japanese. The nineteen-year old woman was wearing what is to be presumed as the modern fashion trends in France, and can be assumed that she was just a simple tourist. Not a cold-blooded assassin, she brightly thought as she enthusiastically checks out the shops here in Namimori. Even though it's her first time here, she managed to speak good enough Japanese. After all, you need to speak at least seven languages to be a part of the Varia.

Victoire beamed when she heard about the summer festival tonight. "Hm...it sounds fun. Maybe I should go there tonight," she muttered gently to herself as she heads to a neighborhood. She blinked when she noticed two girls and a boy, all of them probably in middle school. Victoire silently hid herself from their view when she recognized the boy's face. Luca Yuuki, potential next boss of the Vongola Famiglia, she curiously studied his face, her eyes slightly softening. He's so young, but I heard the Vongola Decimo was about the same age when he started his training.

Of course, Victoire on the other hand, started training the life of a mafioso when she was about six or seven. She smiled fondly at those memories, kind of proud of herself now that they don't have to move house by house to avoid those who were chasing them. She shook her head, driving out the memories of the past. She turned around and went the other way, this time heading for the apartment building she will have to live in in her stay here in Namimori. Or I should buy a yukata for tonight. And the potential next Vongola might be there as well.

Hm...thanks. I'm still feeling a little drowsy today, so my head's a little empty. Will make a post probably today. ^_^
I'm really not sure what post to make with my Varia character...
@Inertia
Sorry, I overslept.

Haruki widened his eyes the minute the seemingly cold girl called herself the Student Council President. The events before she showed up happened too fast for him to react, but when this scary girl just suddenly came out of the toy store, he was frozen in panic. My first day here in this weird Miso City and now I'm going to get scolded by this intimidating Student Body President. This isn't exactly how I expected for my day to start, he thought in despair as he tried to find any excuse to explain himself, but he found none that will sound acceptable.

Why is the Student Body President late for school as well? a defensive part of his mind asks, but Haruki pushed it back wherever it came from, he's already in enough trouble, thank you very much. Instead, he shrinks himself away and lowers his head in fear, sweating in panic and bracing himself for a lecture.
Okay, Haruki is lost now. There so many things are happening at once, and Haruki has never felt this overwhelmed since he was in their family ancestry house. "Oh my-" His jaw dropped but he covered his mouth. He slowly removed his hand and closed his eyes. Nii-san, how the hell did you live here in three years?! he hysterically thought. This is crazy. Very crazy. And that's coming from me.

He stared at Hikaru in sympathy, wincing as he wonders what it feels like. He walks to him and pats him in the shoulder, grinning uneasily, yet he was bemused. "So...ya got a plan, captain?"
