@redbaron1234 I have taken an instant dislike of you man who is a total stranger to me. :P
Leval Lamrue

Leval yawned and stretched his arms out. His injured shoulder began to throb and a look of annoyance flashed over his face. He looked around, the nocturne was still sleeping on his stolen bed and the succubi was still resting. He found the bathroom and walked inside.

He emerged, plus one surprising toothbrush related eye injury wearing a white collared, button down shirt, a pair of black pants, and a pair of black running shoes that fit him rather nicely. "I did not enjoy that." Despite what he said, his shoulder felt better and he enjoyed the feeling of being clean after yesterday's challenges.

His eye fell again on the rifle the Nocturne had dropped last night. It was quite unlike anything he had seen before. His fingers twitched, but he restrained the call of his inquisitive mind. He settled with looking over it without touching in order to respect the Nocturne's space. 'After all one of should.' The craftsmanship was amazingly intricate with detailed carvings and clockwork mechanisms blending with modern age tech. However, the much more interesting aspect were the bullets. One of them was projecting a tightly bound Weave of an essentia.'I have to ask him about this later.'

A growling sound emanated from his stomach. He sighed, stood, and went downstairs. He entered the line, the other students glancing at his hulking illusory form in clear nervousness. Internally he smiled, glad he had taken the time to repair the Weave. When it was his turn, he swiped his pendant and was pleasantly surprised when he found Cinnamon Toast, a fresh red apple, and a steaming cup of hot cocoa.

Looking around the room, he saw demon woman who lived in his dorm room sitting with a green pixie, a large figure in white clothing, a nocturne, and two humans. One of the humans seemed to be making designs out of flame. Leval felt his feet dragging him forward, his curiousity striking while his guard was lowered. He placed his meal on the table with a small sound. He greeted the table, "Hi all, I'm Leval." His focus snapped back to the design, running through several equations and projections.

"Oh that's clever! Very clever." He looked up eyes sparkingly. "Have you considered the increased wear on tear on the physical parts?" He activated the lights on his gloves on a low setting and copied the illusory design with some minor additions. "This might help reduce the amount of maintence and replacement parts you'll need in the future." He bit into his apple, enjoying the sweet taste.
@HHShetland
Sorry totally misread! I fixed it- I was too entranced on the idea of the Government sneaking up behind people i guess haha
"Whoa there, whoa there people, let's deescalate things a little huh?" Patrick raised his hands in a calming fashion away from his gun. "The big guy came over to chit chat is all." He turned to the Chinese guy who had also walked up. "I apologize he was showing me a trick he knew that's all, we will cover any damages to your outfit there, alright? I don't really understand anything you said, but I apologize if you got offended."

He turned around again to the shotgun wielding guard. "Honestly, man if you could just but that away, you are causing more harm than good right now. No one is here wants to start anything. If you could just go ahead and grab your drink that would be great. No one wants any trouble."
"I did not expect work to start quite so suddenly," he whispered to Jack.
This seems pretty interesting, I like the idea of the Filter blocking out humans from supernatural goings on rather than the usual "humans dont see what they dont want to see." What role do you think the players would be doing? Recently exposed to the truesong humans, the Fair Folk, or members of the equilibrium? :)
Patrick looked over the Vault Dweller. Despite the rumors he had heard, he didn't look like he was able to breathe fire. He kept a close gaze on his mouth just in case, though he appreciated the drink. Achilles, of course, kept his cool and went straight for the heart of the matter. Patrick gave a little half-smile, it was a game they had played before. He listen closely, with some trepidation. Now it was his turn.

"We want 1/8 of the Vault goods upon completion of the job, in addition we want 2nd and 3rd pick of the goods. You can take first or give it to someone else, but no matter what Achilles gets second pick and I get third. We know a couple communities that could really use it." Patrick took in a deep breath using his scavengers instincts to get the get the best deal. "Any medical costs are either to be covered by yourself or a member of your team if you have a doctor."

"That is the price to hire us. Now let's talk about what you get in return." Patrick gave a crooked, cocky grin. "We are the best. Achilles here has been fighting on the side of justice most of his life and he is getting pretty up there in years. How many aging mercs have you heard of? You need a scout who isnt gonna alert the Enclave in the first 10 seconds, I'm your man. I can get past any guard and any door you want. You also get our loyalty, you pay us we work for you, no other offers will be accepted, so long as you don't turn out to be a psycho addled madman in disguise. We can cover the cost of bullets- we just got a nice refresher."

"Whether or not this succeeds, we will require 150 caps apiece as a security deposit. Job gets completed you get it back." Patrick considered for a moment. "100 each if you can actually breathe fire."

Patrick raises his hand. "Deal?"
@Zetsuko lol yep looks like, Leval is gonna let the gun wielding nocturne who powers up at night have whatever he wants :P
Awesome!
Leval Lamrue
Leval looked from his bed to the gun wielding nocturne that had just moved past him. He then looked at the intimidating rifle that he dropped on the floor. He turned and moved over to one of the two unoccupied beds and sat down. He attempted to roll his injured shoulder and winced as the pain lanced down his arm.
He pulled out his Connector and reviewed the audio recording of his first day at Rosewood. However, when he got to the Succubi's voice he groaned. He stood up and walked over to her, stopping a respectful distance away." Um hi there, listen I'm sorry if I offended you. That whole 'not like being touched thing' wasn't aimed at you. It's just a personal issue that I wanted to let everyone know right at the start to avoid any issue. But I can see how you could take that personally so I just wanted to apologize. I would've responded earlier, but sometimes I get lost in my head and forget to pay attention to my surroundings. Leval raised his hand to the back of his head, his illusion doing the same looking guilty. "So yeah just wanted to say I'm sorry. I meant you no harm and insult, but I should've chosen my words better. I'm Leval by the way." He waited politely for any reaponse and then let sleep take him.
@Gisk and I just finished our Collab intro post- fairly long haha- we will be doing separately from now on, just wanted a big bang to start us off
