It's highly specialized to the individual. Your suit will most likely have additions to your repertoire to make your character better at what they do. An assault or demolition expert might have heavy plated armor on their suit and extra space to store ammo and explosives. Maybe a character focused on stealth might have some form of cloaking device installed into their suit.

Personality: Lawful Evil. Most hunters would describe Veisu as cold, rude and pompous. In reality, he is simply focused and self-disciplined. When others are eating, drinking and parting, Veisu is studying, crafting and training. His reclusive and strict "work and no play" attitude have earned him little in the way of friends, but the whole guild knows of his hunting and forging prowess. He is frequently sought after by aspiring hunters looking for his hand to grace their armor and weapons, or for his assistance in hunting a powerful monster, but to their dismay, he is equally frequent in the denial of such requests.

History: Veisu was born and raised in a wyverian village high up in the mountains, near the village of Pokke. He was only a child when his village was attacked by the infamous Gore Magala, and he was one of the only survivors. He and the remaining wyverians moved to Pokke, and it was there that Veisu devoted himself to the defeat of the Magala.

Sure enough, the monster returned. And on this day, Veisu was ready. He set out ahead to meet the beast in the wilderness, and after several days, the villagers of Pokke thought him slain. It was only after all hope was abandoned would the townspeople see a battle-scared silhouette stand by the gates, with the rising sun at his back.

With a dead Gore Magala at his doorstep, Veisu did what any other self-respecting wyverian would do: he donned his foe's visage, in honor of a battle well-fought.

Veisu then moved to the big cities. He joined and quickly rose the ranks of the Hunter's Guild, being able to take on the most dangerous of monsters and also working as a guild smith.

Compared to the history of humanity before it, the 20th and 21st centuries were easily the turning point of advancements in technology. Launching like a rocket into space, the world as we knew it was revolutionized by new discoveries and inventions in every field of study. To date, the most significant breakthrough was the technology needed to inhabit worlds other than Earth.

In only a few short centuries after the turn of the 21st, Earth's population grew from 6.102 billion to a staggering 10.511 billion. 99.9% of the entire planet was inhabited both on the ground level:

With Earth's small stature and diminishing resources, humanity looked to the heavens for answers. To their delight, their pleas were answered in the form of breakthroughs in space travel: entire settlements of humans were able to move to and live in colonies that orbited Earth and her Moon.

By the 31st century, man kind had set foot on and fully colonized Mars, establishing the first truly extraterrestrial human settlement:

But in time, they would again run out of room and resources, the Earthling and Martian colonies had in combination broke the 50 billion mark in universal population.

The second "great leap" would occur in the 39th century, reaching out again to the stars, the Earth-run government of the now-unified humanity authorized the colonization of the entire Asteroid belt.

The Asteroid Belt colony reached around the entire belt, and allowed the universal population to comfortably grow to over 200 billion.

Since the early 4000's, about 2.5% of all of humanity still inhabits Earth. The 5 billion or so nobility, politicians aristocrats that live in wealth have maintained their standing as the governing force over the entirety of the Earth-Martian-Asteroid conglomerate, now known as the EMA, the unified federation of all of humanity. The middle-class colony of Mars now consists of about 15 billion, including the lunar branches and other orbitals. This left roughly 180 billion to the slums of the Asteroid Belt, where the standard of living was comparable to that of the Great Depression of 20th century USA.

For the most part, everything was otherwise tranquil. Then in the mid 4500's war broke out.

The mass of the Asteroid settlements rose in revolt against Earth's hold over humanity. In a wave of rebellion, over 100 billion people broke away from the EMA Conglomerate, forming the Jupiter Freedom Alliance and declaring war against Earth's oppression. They settled on Jupiter's many moons, the first and most prominent colony being the water-rich moon Europa:

In only 12 years, the rebel army became a massive threat to the EMA, attacking critical trade and travel points with surgical precision:

With the EMA Inter-Planetary Naval Force not strong enough to fend off the attacks, Earth is losing the war. The current year is 4598, and we're on the brink of defeat. There is only one option left to save us...

Operation Shadow-Sabre is a high-casual, high sci-fi roleplay set in a far future where humanity has colonized the middile of our Solar System, and is now in a civil war. In an effort to quell the rebellion, the central government has issued a top-secret program to turn humans (you, the players) into super-humanoids, fit for combat, research, reconnaissance, anything and everything. As a player, your character will be a Sabre, and you'll have the chance to personalize their dossier and even create the augmentations that he or she possesses. They can be just about any reasonable "super-human power" that would fit in a sci-fi setting, but that doesn't mean you have to be the next Master Chief or Adam Jensen. Expect lots of open-ended exploration, complex and malleable story lines, and lots of action!

Rules

-General rp rules apply: no power-playing, controlling other's characters excessively, complaining about things that happen, etc.
-Light and MercuryHg34 are Lead GM and Co-GM respectively. We can controls NPC's and make judgments on if rules are broken or if event turn-outs are fair.
-Rules are lenient but subject to change/heavy enforcement by GM's at our discretion.
-Vanishing from the rp for an extended period of time (gm discretion) without letting us know about it can put you at risk of being kicked out and your character killed off. If something comes up or you don't feel like playing anymore, have the decency to tell us about it.
