I think I can handle the rest from here. I'll get to work on an OOC.
@Rogue Colm@DeathXtheXTree@KiritoAsuna
I think I've got a good way to consolidate all of this:

>RP'ers are people playing fancy-shmancy VR mmo
>MMO is high-scifi/fantasy, full of magic and advanced tech and shit
>coolswagfuntimes.jpg
>RP takes place both in real world and VR world
>real world is stale and bland, everything is normalized and gov. regulated
>RP'ers catch on to shady business in game
>jucyplotspoilers.png
>story escalates from "haha fun games" to "oh shit we gotta stop the corrupt ppl"
I think mid to high casual to maxamize story depth and post accuracy

Does it have to be a lengthy novel page like? I'm okay with Mid Casual, not high casual. XD

Well to me, at least, high-casual means advanced quality writing in a casual quantity format, if that makes sense. If people wanna post essays, let them, but you don't need seven paragraphs to convey how your character combs their hair or says "hello," which was always my problem with the adv board. If you can't produce multiple paragraphs every single post, then they won't look at you, even if your actual writing is better.
Well let's get an idea rolling, and I'll put up a new interest check when we figure it out. What genre do you all want? And what level of casual writing do you want? I usually write high-casual and will probably do so even if we allow casual or low-casual, but we should have a designated floor for other people who want to join.
So... Starting?
@KiritoAsuna
Well how many people is enough people?
Is RoI canon in this rp? We don't really know the whole plot of it yet, but it would be weird to ignore it too. Are we just gunna assume up to TTK?
I used to use discord all the time with my Pathfinder group but my laptop has been on its way out and discord doesn't work anymore. I was actually looking for play-by-post anyway. Sorry guys.
If you wanna give us a point-buy budget we can set up ability scores.

Edit: Point-buy's actually different for different editions, so nvm. (3d6)*7 or (4d6 drop 1)*6?
Sounds good. Not familiar with any D&D editions though, I'm a Pathfinder.
