Max is accepted, that's because there's nothing particularly wrong with the character in the roleplay. I really like the optimism, it seems that he'll be a fun person to play! However, it would be so much better if you could add more detail to him in general. I personally find your character sheet a little lacking. While you are by no means obliged to add anything--I really like the concept!--I think it would just be more helpful for others when they're filling in relationships, and it'll give you a better grasp on your character. If you want to, here are some things to think about, and some questions to help guide you.

Appearance
--What color are his eyes?
--What color is his skin?
--What's his hairstyle? How long is his hair?

Personality
--What are some flaws of his?
--Does he have any pet peeves?
--What's his worst fear?
--Is Max confident only about his stunt-man skills, or does that extend to his entire life as well? Why or why not?
--How does he react under pressure?
--Why does he constantly look for excitement? Is it because he's always bored by the mundane life he lives, or is there some other reason?
--Why does he like being a stunt man so much?

History
--How old was he when he saw that movie?
--What about the movie inspired Max? Instead of say, wanting to become an archaeologist/treasure hunter/thing, why a stunt man specifically?
--How did he try to become a stunt man? Did he go to school for this, or did he just do a bunch of cool stunts on his own? What was the process?
--At what age did he receive his first role?
--What went wrong in The Iliad?

In regards to that post by World Traveler...

I feel so wrong being the GM for this RP >< Everyone seems to have a much better understanding about the entire process. I haven't really given too much thought to the financial aspect of it, but yes. It's definitely a really big part, for everyone. The only thing I can say, is that everyone should keep in mind exactly what was posted by Traveler. It's a very realistic aspect of filmmaking, and I'm sure that it'll be on every character's minds. Thanks for the informative post!

And in terms of the Wonder Woman idea... I don't see a problem with it, but I'm not really ecstatically jumping up either. I think this is mostly because I never really got into superheroes in general though, not because I'm like "Blehhh" at all. World Traveler, I think you should type up a quick synopsis if it's not too much trouble, so I can get it up into the OP for all to see.

Maybe it's the first in a potential series of action movies with high hopes, and the producers have their fingers crossed for a huge success, there's a lot betting on this movie. Stunt man has a huge role, our lovely cantankerous supporting actor looks like he would fit in perfectly, location manager will have lots to do, prop master gets to have so much fun, make up artists slap some bruises and cuts onto actors, costume designer has the opportunity to make the actors look as they kick ass, and there's a whole load of pressure on the script supervisor to help make this movie the big success its producers are hoping for.How about it?

That makes sense. I'll wait until we have everyone to make my final judgements, but the action genre does seem the most...realistic? I don't think that's the right word, but you get my point.

So many CSs submitted while I was sleeping! Yay~ they look good so far, but I'm going to wait to accept any until I can look at them closely after school, because school Internet sucks, and typing on a touchscreen is annoying. And my phone hates typing online at it literally took me 30 min to type out this post.

So while my phone is cooperating, I'm going to quickly point out some things that caught my attention and should be addressed.

Polyphemus, sorry but I don't accept personalities that only have traits listed out. It would be wonderful if you could rewrite the personality section in paragraph form.

Ezekial Wolffe, if you could edit in a description of your character's actual appearance in addition to his outfit, that would be lovely.

Again, I'll look at them more closely when I get out of school.

Standing at 5'10", Luke isn't necessarily the tallest person in the room, but he definitely has a very large presence. His sweeping blonde hair and his striking blue eyes has brought him popularity throughout his life and career. Every physical feature of his looks like it could be use in a commercial--and a lot of them have been. His pale hair has been featured in men's shampoo ads, and his clean-shaved face has been used in razor advertisements. Now his eyes, they weren't in any commercials, but they have a constant mischievous sparkle that drew in hundreds of fans.

Can you say a typical all-American guy?

Charming, athletic, smart, kind. When you paint a picture of the dream American household, Luke will definitely be portrayed as the perfect son. He has the dashing good looks with his blonde hair and blue eyes, commanding attention simply for how attractive he is. Girls whispered about him in high school, he was at the top of the social ladder, and it was very easy to see why. He treated everyone kindly, but he had that little bit of a devilish charm. He was the captain of the football team, and that's an instant in-crowd thing. And did I mention that he's hot?

Very laid-back and chill, Luke can seem like he's willing to go with the flow,, to be washed away in the hectic current of life. However, Luke is very capable of reaching out, and grasping the controls of his destiny. Despite his easy-going nature, Luke is stubborn to the core, never budging from what he thinks is right. Many people overlook how pigheaded he is, due to how easily he compromises and bends to someone else's terms. Everything he allows is superficial, unimportant to the foundation of his goals and ambitions. Even if at first glance Luke appears to submit easily, he is very much in control. There's a fire burning within him, propelling him forward through life. Ambitious in both a good and bad way, Luke is willing to push himself and others much too far to reach these goals. He can and will go that extra length to make his dreams come true. This side of him is apparent a lot, evidenced by his passionate nature when he's striving for accomplishment, but it is rarely seen in the extreme forms that it can come in.

Luke is a ray of sunshine, with his bright demeanor and his blinding smile. Enthusiasm is apparent in everything that he does, and nothing receives less than 120%. His signature crooked grin is warm and inviting, allowing anyone to feel at ease--even if they're a little starstruck! Down-to-earth and humorous, Luke knows the best way to break the ice in any situation, making him an easy person to talk to. However, lately Luke has become a little bit more distant than he used to be. He's slightly more withdrawn, and doesn't offer as much personal information about himself as before. It's subtle, and nearly unnoticeable to everyone but the people truly close to him, but it's there nonetheless.

Biography
Born into the upper middle class, Luke grew up with a fairly standard childhood. Luke is the middle child of Jeremy and Kelsey Clemens. He got along well with his older brother, Daniel and his younger sister Lexie for the most part. Of course they had their fair share of arguments and fights, but the Clemens family are a very close family. Mr. and Mrs. Clemens always made sure that their children had the maximum number of opportunities possible, and the best education. The Clemens family lived in the suburbs of Los Angeles, being active members of the community. Luke excelled in school and athletics, and everyone thought that he would perhaps go to an Ivy League college with his stellar grades and athletic ability, but that wasn't the case.

At the age of 13, Luke found an ad asking for people to be extras in a movie, and wanting some extra cash, he participated. That's when he was first exposed to the industry, and he was in awe of the process. Like any other child, Luke dreamed of being on the big screen, but this was the first time he truly wanted to become an actor. From this moment on, Luke threw himself into various auditions. It was a rocky start, after all, he was one of the many people who just wanted to be a movie star with no actual skill. Being a hard worker, he knew that he could outshine everyone if he put in enough effort. He took many acting classes, and appeared in many local plays, slowly building up his skill, until one day, he got his chance.

When he was 17 years old, Luke was cast as the younger brother of the female lead--and while the part was small and unimportant to the overall plot, there was an emotional scene between him and the female lead. It wasn't exactly the most successful movie ever, but it did catch the eye of a well-known director, who promptly offered Luke a larger role in his new movie. Of course, Luke snapped this opportunity up, and this was how he became famous. This movie was a hit, and was praised by critics everywhere. His superb acting and his good looks quickly thrust the teenager into the spotlight, where he gained many fans. Since then, he's been featured in movies, TV shows, commercials, magazines... It could seem that he could do no wrong as an actor.

Then, he just disappeared. It's not like he was kidnapped or anything, one day, at the age of 22 he just vanished from the spotlight. Suddenly, Luke started refusing interviews, turned down all of the roles he's been offered, turned away from the public eye. Of course, for a famous actor, this is very difficult to do, so there were sightings and rumors flying around everywhere. He was still swarmed by fans, there were people begging for him to come back. In fact, his fame grew even more, people questioning his sudden disappearance that occurred without explanation. But eventually, the trend died out.

It seemed that people never forgot though, because now, two years later, Luke Clemens is making his return to Hollywood. It was a rumor that was somehow started, that Luke would be returning not as an actor, but a director. Over social media, the rumor spread like wildfire, until Luke confirmed it through his twitter account--the first tweet in two years. This news was plastered over many magazines, websites... Everything.

Luke Aiden Clemens is returning to Hollywood.

Let's be honest. Who hasn't ever dreamed about being famous? Hollywood is a place of envy for young and old alike, and everyone wants their chance in the spotlight. Perhaps you've dreamt of being an actor. Or maybe you don't want to be in the spotlight yourself, but you want to support the movie production by being a cameraman or a director. Every movie has a compelling story, there's always the writers that are responsible for captivating the audience. If you have a passion for makeup or costuming, then there's a place for you in a movie to create the beautiful looks of the characters that match their personality.

Well today is your lucky day, because you get the chance to help create a highly-anticipated film! This may be your big break, or perhaps you're a veteran of filmmaking. Maybe you've been promoted and assigned with more responsibility, or--God forbid--you've been demoted and you're stuck doing easy, simple tasks. Whatever the case, you have a job, and there are people out there that would love to be in your place right now.

Of course, the production process isn't all fun and games. There are bound to be problems and obstacles that everyone has to suffer their way through. Hollywood loves a good scandal, and there's no guarantee that you won't become the victim of one. The industry is very vicious, and there might even be sabotage from rivals. What if your key actors get into a fight, and refuse to make up? Unseen adversity can, and will pop up.

Is this film going to be a success, or a failure? The results are up to you...

If your character is struck through, but you explain why you were unable to post, your character will not be removed from the roster, on the condition that you will post in the IC in the near future. Of course, this is a case-by-case and I understand that people have obligations outside of roleplaying. I'm very flexible about this, but I'm not going to let this roleplay die because someone randomly disappears.

Movie Plot

Point Blank

Being a spy runs through the family. For many generations, the men of the family have joined some sort of secret service, or anything like it. This tradition was broken, when the MC became a single father to his daughter, and he left the spy profession in order to shelter her from the ugly side of the world. Leaving isn't that easy though, and three generations of this family has been dragged back into danger after a certain incident.
