Chinatsu Hon
Konoha Team 6

She gave a nod of approval, a red apple wasn't bad but it wasn't exceptionally good either. So Akira was a good close range fighter, like Sayuri was. Nodding again, she finished her apple and disposed of the core before following after her team. Staying in the back silently, she kept a close eye on her surroundings and was ready to send an arrow into anyone or anything that opposed them.

"Roses are red, Violets are blue, Or so Hiroshi-Sensei said, Sayuri needs something new, Akira... Doesn't like spiders" Chinatsu rattled off in her bizarre poem. Sadly, inspiration was missing and so the poem lacked... 'Spirit.' She was a bit irked though, feeling the need to shoot something but wasn't sure if it was the right time.

It's always the right time to shoot something.

She would probably get lectured about it but she needed to shoot something, anything. Luckily for her, there were trees everywhere, she silently knocked an arrow and casually aimed it at a tree. Letting it fly through the air, hitting a small tree with a thud, she quickly retrieved the arrow and went back to her position, a lofty grin on her other wise blank expression.

Chinatsu had packed six apples, three red and three green. Leaving four total apples left, she slowly turned to Akira which who had not been offered an apple. "Alright, Akira, it's only fair. So would you prefer a red or green apple? I have two of each left now, so it doesn't matter much now but it should help keep your hunger at bay until we can stop to eat something else," Chinatsu said, holding a red apple in one hand and a green in the other. It would not be long before she was used to Akira being in the team, she had not expected a third member at least not so quickly and was caught off guard by it.

"Akira, what are you exceptionally good at it? And Hiroshi-Sensei, what do we know about the traitor? Specialty? Appearance? Weapons? Long range fighter or close range fighter? Sayuri, you have your scrolls prepared right?" Chinatsu asked, trying to form somewhat of a basis of a plan. Anything to get them going, she needed to do something and to watch Akira, see what he can do. She needed to adapt to the situation and the longer they stood here the more uneasy she became. "Hirudora, I apologize for any disrespect you might have felt. Akira, I'm sure a giant spider can't hurt you, right? Just take a giant stick and kill it, hmm?" She asked, attempting to make a joke even though it was something she fails horribly at most of the time. Taking a step towards the now open door, she took a deep breath and glanced at her team mates. "Let the hunt begin," Chinatsu said loftily.

Nazari Suta
Jounin Sensei, Team 15

With an irritated sigh, she turned in the direction of the Amekage and listened. The attack, the injured and the probably now dead few brave ninja who fought with them were all weighing heavily on her. What was the reason for this? What had they done besides just be here? She didn't think they was a reason, but maybe it was something she was not capable of comprehending it or maybe she was, it could just be eluding her. She glanced around the area, looking for Kazen and couldn't see her. She was torn between going to look for her and checking on Shu, where was he?

Deciding that a Jounin, once Anbu, was more likely fine than a genin fresh from the Academy and sighing again, she took off in the direction of where the genins were being held for their safety. Upon arriving at the place, she searched the faces of the genins until she found the one she was looking for. At first look, Shu looked fine and not injured, so did everyone. Now that she was satisfied with what she saw, she left back for where the battle had taken place and helped some of the medical nin carry injured back to the hospital. Her mind focused on a possible mission for team.

Chinatsu breifly glanced at the boy, thats what he was, nothing more. Looking back to the summoning, Chinatsu gave a nod of adknowledgement, keeping it breif and quick. She was focusing on the mission, on the details and how she thought of it. Turning to Sayuri, she gave a lofty grin and pulled out a red apple to hand to her. "Surprise, you get an apple," Chinatsu said, pulling a second one out, it was green. Shrugging, she glanced at the boy and took a bite of her apple, not bothering to offer one to the new genin in their team. Chinatsu felt uncertin of the new team 6 member, she didn't know what he was or what he was good at. What did he offer them? Would he get in the way?

"Alright, so we need to get going. Sayuri, are you prepared?" Chinatsu asked, then turned to the boy. "Stay out of the way, if you mess anything up then I will feed you to the Giant Spiders in the Forest of Death after I shove Spider-ka-bob down your throat, got it? Good." She admitted, to herself, it was a pretty harsh thing to say to someone she just met but they couldnt afford to mess anything up, he should not be here anyways. He didn't get a bell, he did not fight giant spider and spiderlings. He had no place here.

She reached back, adjusting her bow that rested her back and touched the arrows that were held in their sheath. Mother had once asked why she liked a bow and arrows so much, she had answered that she was a hunter, and she was she hunted those who got in her way. "I am a hunter..." Chinatsu said, it was barely audible.

She had just taken a bite of her apple when the guard showed up with the scroll in hand, she frowned and then took another bite of her apple before loftily taking the scroll from him. He didn't wait to be dismissed, he left in a hurry and was out of sight before she knew it. Shrugging it off, she opened the scroll and read it, blinked, read it again and then took a bite of her apple again. They had a mission, one that appeared urgent. "Mother! I'm going now," Chinatsu said, then she was out the door.

Wait... I am forgetting something.

Rushing back in, she hurried over to the where she kept her supply of apples and grabbed four. Gently placing them in the pouch she always had on her and then grabbed her extra bow along with her wooden arrows. Or was this not light packing? She frowned, what if she needed the other bow but didn't have it on her? She decided to put the other bow in its case and close the sheath of arrows that went with it but still bring them with her.

I should practice shooting on the mission, targets are a good idea.

After that thought, she rushed over to where she kept her paper targets and packed them as well. Looking she saw her mother watching her with a strange look. "Something off about me?" Chinatsu asked. Her mother came over and snatched the scroll from her and shook her head.

"This said light packing, how is bringing two bows and sets of arrows light packing? Why do you need targets? And why are you bringing four apples?" her mother asked, raising her eye brows. Chinatsu frowned, she was packing for the mission and really believed that she would need them. Standing up, she felt a bit weighed down by her gear.

I am as light as a feather and so is my gear...

"I am going now," Chinatsu said, nodding as if she was trying to convince herself. But her mother stopped her, taking the long bow and it's arrows from her. She had to admit, she felt not so weighted down now but didn't want to say it out loud. After that, her mother stepped aside and she was able to head to the dojo. She frowned, she missed the long bow and what if something happened that it was better suited for? Then what?
I've been away, but I will be hopefully catching back up and start posting again. Sorry if I held or am holding anyone back with posting, I'm doing my best. ^_^
Katsumi Fūryoku - ANBU Member, Kumogakure
The First Mission, Arrival at the Snow Country

After the hostile was restrained, Katsumi stood in front of him with her eyes narrowed and her arms crossed as she examined him. From her view, it was obvious he wasn't trained, which meant that this was a solo act with no order behind it. From how he was dressed, it looked like he had no further protection other than the loose clothes he had on, from that she could conclude that his attempt to steal the gift was rash and not prior planned.

"Please let me go, I swear that I wasn't going to harm anyone," he pleaded with her, although he found compromise in her eyes. His shoulders slumped in defeat, his eyes on the ground and he shook his head. "Do what you want to me, but I beg you to leave my family be, they have done nothing," he said, looking up to meet her eyes. She could see the defeat in his eyes, the hopelessness in them and she decided to not kill him at that moment.

"Search him for weapons," Katsumi ordered, as soon as she stopped talking the ANBU began to search him. Patting him down and checking his pockets for any hidden weapons, there was none. Before anyone could react, Katsumi struck the man and watched as he fell to the ground, his wife screamed. He wasn't dead, she knew where she hit him, it was hard enough to knock him out cold but not to kill him. She then turned to the family, pulling something out of her pocket, it looked like a packet of sorts. "Take it, now" she ordered the mother and the small child. The mother didn't seem to trust it, but she did as told anyways, pouring half it contents into her mouth and swallowing. Then handed it to her child, who did the same as her hands shook.

Within a few second of them having the contents in their system, it began to take affect. They looked exhausted, ready for sleep and soon they were making their way on shaky legs over to a tree, sitting down before their eyes closed. The sleep powder would keep them asleep for 24 hours, by then Katsumi and the team of ANBU would be in the Snow Country.

Walking over to the man, she picked him up and set him next to his family. With that done, she ordered everyone to go back to their previously assigned positions and to get moving. A few minutes later, they were far enough away from the family when she looked back over her shoulder, she could no longer see them behind her. Fuyu, her owl summon, flew ahead to scout out the surroundings and report back. It wasn't long, before Fuyu sounded the all clear and they continued on like that for another five hours.

Soon the docks were in view, they would take more than one boat. Stopping she gave the order to halt and turned to the team. "Alright, the boats are big enough to carry at least a group of a six but with the gift being it's size, the number drops. I want a single team to board a boat with the gift, two boats a team aboard each one on the left and right of the boat with the gift. The last boat will be with the last team, the diplomat and myself. Do not get too far ahead and keep up," Katsumi ordered them, meeting their eyes individually.

Once that was said, they boarded the assigned boats and continued on towards the snow country that was now in view of them. About an hour later, they were at land and were beginning to get off the boats, both the diplomat and the gift secure. Forming back into the original positions that were assigned at the beginning of their travels, they finished the last few minutes of the journey to the Snow Country.

Now, they had arrived. Katsumi walked with the ANBU team and the diplomat to the Daiymo's office and area of residency. "Now it is on you, diplomat," Katsumi ordered.

The next day, Chinatsu stood outside of the Hon Compound where the targets were with her bios and arrow in hand, needing to do something. Slowly, she readied her bow and nocked an arrow, aiming casually at the center of the target. Taking a deep breath, she let the arrow go and watched as it flew through the air. A smile on her lips as she watched hit the center of the target, accurte. She was always accurate, she could calculate her opponent movements into her aim and she could still hit them, easily. She was a Kunoichi now, sent from the Hon Estate and now lived in the leaf village as she did not feel like having to walk back and forth. Being a kunoichi meant that she would have to kill people, she would have to aim at vital points and not hold back. Just thinking about it now, she was not sure if she would be able to cope with the after math of killing someone. What if the enemy was not the enemy? What if it was just a mistake? Could she accept the death of someone as a mistake?

She readied her bow again and nocked another arrow, aiming again but this time with more focus. After a three second, she let the arrow go and nocked another arrow, aiming and letting it go. Thud! Thud! The two arrows hit the target, the first dead center and the second was right next to it. An inch, that was the space between the two arrows. What if that was the error or misjudgment in killing someone? What if the mistake was that small but impacted everything quite much?

She couldn't make that mistake, she would not let one die just for the village. There could be no mistake, it had to be accurate and correct, it would make a difference. Chinatsu readied her bow, nocked her arrow and aimed. Pausing only a moment before, just a moment, did that moment make a difference? She let the arrow fly, watching as it hit dead center of the target and nodded. There, no mistake, no error, no miscalculation. It was the way it should be, accurate and percise.
