Seranai, smiled softly at the man who introduced himself as the Jinchūriki of the eight tails, he seemed nice. Her eyes drifted around the room until they landed on the other Hidden Rain ninja and gave a tentative smile. He didn't know that she was a Jinchūriki as well? Really? "I-I just found out... Yesterday... Told me I-I was the only one... I didn't know... You were one..." Seranai said a small squeak in her voice as she tried to talk normally, when she was nervous she had a tendency to talk in fragments.
Her hands shook as she shrunk back into herself, feeling like she wanted to crawl into a hole and disappear. She was so scared as she looked at the ground, why would they lie to them? They didn't do anything.

Seranai, was more than a nervous wreck at the moment as her hands shook slightly as she walked into the Summit where everyone was waiting or maybe they had left her. She stayed on the side lines as she watched everyone interact with each other, before giving a weak smile. "H-Hello... I'm the Jinchūriki of the Hidden Rain...." Seranai trailed off as she found the one that claimed to be a Jinchūriki of the Hidden Rain, was she not the only one? Having no clue that Maiko was one prior to this, she stared at him.

Seranai was always a timid and shy child, afraid of getting hurt by the other ninja. She was never told of her Tailed Beast, so she never had a chance to learn how to connect with it. In the academy she was always kept away from the other students and learned separately.
Her parents died in battle, leaving her orphaned and she was considered a ward of the village. Or at least that was the excuse they spouted off at her when she asked what happened to her parents, however they did not die in battle. They were intentionally killed by the Hokage before Haruno become the Hokage for threatening to take their child away, afraid that they would take their 'secret weapon' and thus they were sent on a fake mission, it was an ambush.
It was said that because of the last Great Shinobi War, they were left defenseless and so having obtained two great beast, made another Jinchūriki that was never to be spoken about to anyone who didn't already know.
Because of her shy nature, she was said to be a failure as a student but the Hokage kept encouraging her to keep trying, even working with her himself. Deciding that her current sensei was a failure of a teacher , he relieved him of her and decided that she would do better with someone more active.
Even as the village discouraged she trained secretly at night when the village slept and began showing great improvements, the Hokage was thrilled to see a dedicated student but his advisors were afraid that she would learn of her Tailed Beast. Because she acted similar to his sister, he entrusted Okani Kazomi with the well being of Seranai and training when she became a Genin.
