I was thinking about the whole split up of those involved in the prophecy as well. The prophecy can easily be altered to include a third person. For it, we could possibly make the brother of sun the third person or potentially find a way to connect either the knight or healer’s apprentice to it. Another idea is to include foreign royalty, someone outside of both the main kingdom’s and who was maybe making an alliance with on in particular (through arranged marriage or diplomacy). They could be the ‘northern star’ in the sense that their kingdom is perhaps north of the two.

Yeah I was thinking around that many for each so 4-5 sounds good to me!.

Here it is :) A thread for Tranquility, Hushedwhispers, and myself.

Idea :

The idea is about a once glorious kingdom that was eventually split into two. There’s almost always constant fighting and hatred. Generations after the original split of the kingdom, a prophecy is foretold by both kingdom’s oracles. The blood red river will over flow if the fire continues to engulf both lands. A child of sun and walker of moonlight must find the dusk to drown the fire before sunrise. What this will mean is that a Prince/Princess of one kingdom must join forces with the Prince/Princess of another in order to end the war before it begins. There will be other characters involved in this besides the two royals though!

Character Ideas
(Subject to change)

The Child of Sun : They eventually discover/hear the prophecy and feel the strong sense of destiny. They fully believe that they are the child of the sun but have a tough time convincing others of this. Especially family.

The Walker of Moonlight : They are very opposite to the Child of Sun. They hear the prophecy and doubt it could ever be them. However, they long for a peace and want to find the Child of Sun and Walker of Moon for the sake of preventing another war.

The Brother of Sun : The older brother of the Child of Sun and next in line to be king. He has no faith in the prophecy and looks to prevent the Child of Sun from abandoning their duties or betraying their kingdom.

The Servant : The servant of Child of Sun. One of the few people to believe and support them. Wants to help fulfill the prophecy and will do what is needed.

The Knight : The loyal knight and personal guard of the walker of moonlight. The two are long time friends. They strongly believe that the walker of moonlight is part of the prophecy and is eager to help them find the Child of Sun.

The Rogue Siblings : These two have been against both kingdoms for a long time. They think both kingdoms are ridiculous in the way they operate and attack each other. This hatred comes from the loss of family members to the war. They have set out to disrupt battles but instead run into the prophecy group. They might become allies but it’ll take some convincing.

The Healer’s Apprentice : Secluded in the woods and trained by the former royal doctor, the healer’s apprentice hasn’t known much of the outside world. They’re an orphan whom the doctor took in out of pity. They crave adventure and the chance to show off their skills. Will eventually run into the prophecy group and become a helpful aid.

Things to Know :

1. First off, sorry if everything is a bit scattered. The idea is really a work in progress and this is just the basic out-line. Everything is opened to be changed and there are no determined genders for any of the characters. The brother of the sun could easily become the sister!
2. This is a multi-character rp. You do not necessarily have to make characters and are free to come up with your own with their own backstories and so on. I do, however, require that you at least rp the moonlight or sun!
3. Please be able to rp both female and male! I lean towards female myself but I will have a few male characters so let’s try to keep genders even.
4. I’m a casual rper. I can do around 3 paragraphs on average so all I’m asking for is around the same. I’d say no less than a paragraph.
5. I am 18+ and I have very few limits with cursing and gore. However, I do prefer to fade to black when it comes to smut. I may be talked into buuutt it’s unlikely.
6. I prefer MxF pairings! But I’m open to MxM and maybe FxF. It might take some convincing though and I’d still want to have at least one MxF couple.

A whole new world ~ [casual]

Hello there :D

I’m rather bored and want to get a couple more rps going. I don’t have specific plots though and I tend to stay away from pairings and fandom. Soooo there are a few ‘worlds’ describe below and hopefully one of them interests you! :D However, before we get into the plots, here’s a bit about what you should know and what I’m looking for!

- Casual ~ To me this means you can post around 2 or so paragraphs on average. I post about 3 sometimes more or less depending on what is occurring in the roleplay.
- Characters ~ I know a lot of 1x1s are solely two characters but I prefer having multiple! A cast of characters is usually much more enjoyable than having strictly 2. If we must do 2 only, I prefer having the female role.
- Mature Stuff ~ I am 18+ but most of my roleplays don’t involve many 18+ themes. However, I am open to darker and grittier stories but please be 18+! Also, I do have characters that swear A LOT so please tell me ahead of time if they might bother you.
- Romance ~ It isn’t a must or the focus of the rp. I don’t require it but it is nice to have every now and then. I usually do MxF but I am open to MxM or FxF

The Worlds

Oasis

”Welcome to the Oasis.. For those who live here, it is either paradise or hell."

It’s an alternate/futuristic society. In a small state surrounded by high walls and a strong army, there is both heaven and hell. The state has named it’s self Oasis, claiming it is like an oasis for all humans. However, whether or not it truly is is completely based on the mark you are given during your time of ‘defrost’.

Defrost is another name for what many would consider birth. Birth doesn’t happen normally anymore. Everyone is created in a lab and aren’t able to actually open their eyes until the ripe age of 20. They are released from their tubs and get randomly sorted into 3 classes. There’s the upper class, their jobs are often luxurious ones, usually as the scientists, politicians, and other high positions in society. More often than not, they rarely have to lift a finger and live a more than comfortable life. Right below them is the middle class. The middle class are usually assistants, managers, and officers. They do not have any power but still live a fairly comfortable life yet struggle more than the upper class. Finally, there’s the lower class. The lower class lives in complete hell. They are the hard workers, the laborers who put do the dangerous jobs like mining. Some of them don’t even have jobs and are forced to live off the streets.

These three classes are kept very separate from each other. Marriage is allowed for people in the same class only. It’s forbidden to have children as well. Children are considered filth and often times, the government throws them outside the walls regardless of age.

Perhaps it’s up to our characters to break a few rules and try to break down the walls this society has formed between people.

”You’re not cursed are you? To be cursed, means an early grave."

It’s a medieval fantasy. There is a small town located outside the rule of nearby kingdoms. It is no-mans land and considered a place of evil. The person who over-rules this town is a witch. Some consider her fair and just while others find her to be quite horrid. The latter is more likely.

She has rule over her land for quite some time and has trapped the people of the within her borders as well as any travelers that dare to wander through. They are loyal to her out of the many decades of fear. The witch has ruled for many generations and has kept her power by a curse. It is a curse that slowly drives the minds of it’s victims insane. It doesn’t begin until around the age of 20. Those cursed will begin to see strange creatures and are often haunted by nightmares. More often than not, it the curse leads it’s victims to an early grave. The witch promises her people mercy from the curse at the price of taxes and loyalty. Many families have sworn their loyalty to her in order to avoid themselves as well as loved ones suffering from the curse.

The town has little hope of ever escaping from this misery. However, there is a bleak and unknown ray of light that resides in the power of the witch’s own daughter as well as a witch hunter that has entered the town.

Oliver Buzzell

Oliver walked down a corridor within the castle. There were many and it was easy to get lost but Oliver knew the place like the back of his hand. Guard duty was rather boring. Not many people dared to challenge the royals so naturally there was very little crime within the castle. He gave a soft sigh and came to a stop in front of one of the large windows.

The sun was rising in the horizon, lighting the dark sky with brilliant colors. It was warm, welcoming, and unlike most things in the kingdom, it was genuine. It was the one part of the early shift that Oliver truly enjoyed. The sunrise gave hope and the promise of a new day while sunset promised an end. The sound of footsteps broke his daydreaming. He turned his head around with narrowed eyes, expecting a fellow guard or servant only to find the Queen instead.

His eyes widened and he quickly bowed to her. ”Good morning, your highness." He said in a polite manner. After his bow, he straightened himself once more but still held a clear air of formality. He cringed inwardly at the mention of the next shipment but his face remain static. ”It should be arriving shortly. They began their journey during the middle of the previous night and I expect that there were no delays." he informed her. ”I hope that the timing is to your pleasing?"

Atticus & Cleo

Mornings were never a good thing for Atticus. More often than not, he was awoken from a peaceful dream, usually by his own family. He barely made out the words spoken in his ear but he quickly recognized the voice of his younger sister. Damn her. She just didn’t know when to let him be did she? He groaned and sat up, moving away from her in the process.

”Annalise... What are you doing in my room?" He grumbled in annoyance, rubbing his eyes as he tried to wake himself.

Besides him, a smaller figure began to russell out from the covers. His daughter, Cleo, laid besides him. She had a nightmare the previous night, likely due to the previous night’s talk of her mother. She usually slept in her own room but thoughts or conversation of her mother often caused the young girl to have terrible dreams. As a result, Cleo would wander into her father’s room for comfort.

Cleo peeked over at her aunt and wrinkled her nose. She didn’t like Annalise very well and usually made no effort to hide it.
