Current At least 35 people dead and who knows how many injured. But sure, mask your politics with a sorry attempt at comedy.

Loving my new DL photo, hair and make-up right before the appointment played a huge part.

I'm picky with RPs, but man, even trying to get a 1x1 going is tough.

@Noogget You’re playing a very risky game, my dear. Even I am not crazy enough to pull off such stunt.

She was reluctant to take the beer, but peer pressure was a bitch. Adele didn't so much as look at the bottle when she offered it to Mikaela, who subsequently dismissed her with a wave. Sighing softly, the young girl stepped into the house and the sight she laid eyes upon once inside immediately made her skin crawl. She knew it was going to be bad, but she didn't know it'd be this bad. Adele's heart starting beating a little bit faster, the hand holding the beer bottle as well as her free one trembling despite some level of effort to stop herself from shaking. "So this is what we left detention for?" she whispered mostly to herself with a surprising hint of bitterness in her tone.
Opening her mouth to say something, Adele quickly changed her mind. She sighed in defeat, readjusting the bag hanging from her shoulder. Evan had taken a shot at her and in turn, she had no quip of her own to fire back at him with.

“Sorry, I was just trying to look out for you guys.”

Did she want to go? No. Did she have much of a choice? Not really. Adele didn’t see the point in arguing against the idea. What would she do, go back to school and tell on the rest of them? Certainly not. That was just not happening. Instead, she would simply just deal with whatever awaited for them inside. She was already there, might as well press forward.
“On second thought, I’m not sure that’s a good idea... Guys, that house has been condemned for a while now. We might not find a killer clown in there,” Adele glanced over at Scott as she spoke, “but the ceiling may come crashing down on us at any moment. Are we willing to risk it?”

Practically every instinct spoke to Adele against going into the house, though it appeared they weren’t turning back now. First landing in detention and then ditching it, and then trespassing into an abandoned property. Her parents were going to have a field day with her once they found out about the mess she had gotten herself into.

Count me in. I’ll take the truant.
The young queen was not an overly religious individual. Yes, she prayed, and every now and then she sought guidance from her priest, but she much rather preferred to take action over asking her Heavenly Father to bless them with his will. And that was the case now with the arrival of the most recent news. Yes, it placed Isabella in a slightly difficult position, but she was confident in herself. She already had the answer to his question, that was not an issue; however, she had to choose her words carefully in order to appease the masses. Rumor had it that her newly-found position had caused quite the stir amongst her people, and she needn’t be questioned any more beyond that, and certainly not for the misfortunes that had fallen upon these various other regions.

Having been still for quite some time, Isabella shifted her weight just the slightest. Her breathing was moderately deep, and she eyed those that were within her presence. It was rather obvious that they were waiting for a response from her going off of their rigid stance. Her posture straightened, and her hands, which were previously crossed on her lap, moved over to the corresponding armrests on her throne. It was then she turned her attention to Gregar, momentarily locking eyes with him.

“Difficult decisions must be made in difficult times,” she finally responded with a neutral expression on her face. Her words echoed off the walls, and Isabella didn’t have to turn to her scribe to know he was scribbling away according to what was being said. “I will need you to gather an army to accomplish this new mission to Wales. You will be in charge of reassuring that they are fully prepared for the troubles that lay ahead. As always, gather the volunteers first, then choose the rest as deem fit according to the numbers you consider necessary. These people also need our help, and once their land becomes one with ours, we can offer them the proper protection necessary, within reason, to assure their safe arrival. Take into consideration the additional ranks needed for the protection of their women and children. I believe that once we are united, we will be that much stronger, and that more capable of providing the proper help to those in the northern lands.”

Isabella stopped for a moment and toyed with the ring on her right hand. That was one of the signs previously established for him to meet her in her chambers after his dismissal. As always, the young queen had other plans in mind for the new task assigned to him, plans that would need to be shared in secrecy lest she be dethroned, or something worse...

“May I count on you, or are there any concerns troubling your mind at this moment?"
Hey, just wondering if you'd be interested in doing the mercerany/target RP?
Our GM just announced on the home page he's leaving RPG, so that's that I suppose. Was looking forward to this one as well as getting back into role-playing, but such is life.
