The moment of contact between Joey and Taylor sent waves of heat throughout his body. He still couldn't get over her simple touch. It was as he was still in elementary school sitting with his crush.

After making one more turn Joey slowed down to a crawl before stopping all together in front of Olivia's house, speaking of which, who had just entered.

"What do you thinks gonna happen, Josh? With everything that's going on?" Taylor said as Joey exited the car after her.

He considered her question for a moment. He concluded that further clarification was required.

"What you mean? Like whats gonna happen to Red Lake?"

Joey's heart rate was as fast as it's ever been. Taylor's sincere words sent him reeling.

"Y-yeah, I got you to. No matter what?"

From behind there was a sudden blast from a siren and a series police cruisers appeared in Joey's mirror, the red and blue lights flashing brightly in the gathering gloom of the evening gloom. As law dedicated he slid into the shoulder and let them pass on ahead. Only a few houses down they came to a stop.

"Already visited one crime scene today, can we just.. not even go there? I'm kinda over the whole Mystery Gang thing, for the day."

Just as he was thinking. "Yeah, Gang will let the authorities deal with a case for once." he breathed, glaceing at the situation before driving on.

Joey made a smooth right turn onto a main street. Only a few streets stood between them and Liv's house.

"So you ain't never fought a day in yo life?" Joey remarked in surprise.

He on the other-hand had fought as many fights as a professional boxer may have had in his career. Back in Brooklyn, kids were a lot meaner, and respect was never given, it was fought for. Joey still had scars from his scrapes back in the day.

"Okay, so what if shit goes down, and I end up in a fight. You ain't jumpin to my defense? No back-to-back?"

Joey snorted as he pulled out of his parking space and onto the road. Honestly, he wouldn't have minded.

"Liv got good intentions. Probably. he shrugged as he pulled onto the main road and turned towards Liv's place. "I mean, if Liv intimidate you, we can always cancel, wouldn't want to have to break up a fight." Joey jibbed.

"Aight cool, see you there." Josh affirmed, backpedaling out of the way of the shutting door.

As he watched Olivia pull out of her parking spot and start down the trail back towards the main-road, thoughts of the woman seated in his front seat returned. Liv made jest of his crush on her day in and day out. Whether or not the feelings were mutual, didn't help the surefire blood pressure spike everytime she insinuated it.

Ima have to start smoking more before I hang with her. he mused, making his way back his car.

In one continuous motion he slid comfortably into the front seat and give Taylor a nudge.

"Liv invited us over, you wanna come?" effused as he started the car.

Joey glanced at Taylor as Liv mentioned her and readily agreed to her involvement. Sure he missed a chance at some alone time with her, but that didn't exclude spending more time with her with other friends in the mix. It'd what he'd doing all day to begin with. A little longer was not sweat.

"Yeah, so we'll meet at your place. Any plans for what we do when get their?"
