Escorting his Sophia von Einzbern

He was reminiscing that only two months ago he had been summoned by a Homunculus. In order to accomplish the centuries old wishes of the Einzbern, their long but not forgotten desire. But that was all meaningless for him as the only that mattered was his master wishes, small or large. Whether it was a wish of a thousand years or that of the world itself. His goal was thus clear from the start, having no wish for himself aside from faithfully serving his master.

It has been two months living together with that child. Yet they were both going to brave a most dangerous journey that not even great heroes would be certain to survive.

Those times were certainly the calm before the storm but nevertherless quite enjoyable. The ending of such a peaceful period was the sign of a oncoming stor, for such is life, full of ups and down- peace and war.

As they arrived in the city he followed behind his master like the rest of her loyal servants. So this would be their base. He was always aware of their surrounding, with the sharp eyes of an archer seeing far and wide for possible enemies.

They finally arrived at their Japanese home, a compound of western architecture completely unfamiliar to that of the buildings of his past life. Karna however wasn’t an artist or someone who could truly appreciate the sights of good architecture.

Archer entered it alongside Sophia as she barked a few orders to the homunculus maids. He quickly noticed that her faced turned into a devilish smirk.

”Master, such a smirk is unsightly and stains your face. One should not derive pleasure from ordering those around you, for such is the mark of a lesser being, a scoundrel;” He said to her, in his ever blunt manner that made him so unlikeable, even in his myth it is said that he only ever had a single true friend.

[color=lightskyblue”I have at the very least not noticed a single enemy- though it’s possible but unlikely at this stage of the war for one to avoid my detection. And sure, I would love a cup of tea after this journey.”[/color] He spoke once more to his master, at this point there wasn’t much for him to do as he wasn’t known as a strategist so his input wasn’t particularly valuable when going through the information of their enemies.

With his superior senses, he of course heard the words she muttered but it wasn’t a sentiment that he could share. For not even fire elementals would be able to burn him, and so such minor heat wouldn’t even bother him.
