My work schedule just completely changed for the worse, so expect me to be less active, unable to run my own RPs, but I should hopefully be able to keep myself in other people's RPs.

My grandfather's in the hospital...gonna be gone for a few days, for anyone I'm RPing with.
@OrdureMy idea was that his unit had been tracking some raiders up north, he was captured, escaped, and found himself reaching Orleans by mistake through lack of unfamiliar territory. I can go into more detail if need be.
@OrdureYou've got my interest, though I want to run my character by you first. My idea was an NCR Scout who was separated from his squad, and found his way to the Orleans area.
David had volunteered to stay with the reserve forces, ensuring medical care and supply lines were safe and provided, and that any wounded troops could be pulled back safely. He knew that he probably could have helped in the front line fighting, but he felt that he wouldn't have been as much use as he could be here. Nathan finished up the last of his repairs on his Vertibird, and removing any and all Enclave logos from both it and his gear. Cycling through his radio's various signal bands, he came across some dialogue between what seemed to be Brotherhood soldiers, something about an assault at the last Enclave position, Vault 81. Seeing as how the Enclave had already given up on their goals, he decided that there wouldn't be much harm in giving the Brotherhood some well-needed air support when the time came.
Name=Senior Airman Nathan Johnson Age=24 Looks (picture optional)=Nathan has close-cropped, jet black hair, and a thin bit of stubble on his chin. His face has a few scars and burns from some mishaps with machinery when he was younger, and he's missing his left ear. He stands at about 5' 10", and weighs a lean 170 pounds. He wears an Army Mechanics jumpsuit, with the emblem of the Enclave on the left shoulder, and the rank chevrons of the Enclave Air Force Senior Airman on each shoulder. Before flying to a known combat zone, he'll often strap some combat armor over his chest and legs, just in case. Personality=Very outgoing and open, for the most part, but touch his veritbird without permission and he'll chew out for sure. He does his best to follow orders, and does truly believe that what the Enclave does is for the best. Faction=Enclave S.P.E.C.I.A.L= (42 Points spread wisely. Cannot go over 10 on any one stat) Strength-4 Perception-8 Endurance-4 Charisma-4 Intelligence-8 Agility-7 Luck-7
Backstory= Born to the Enclave in 2258, his father was quick to bring him up as a pilot and mechanic. He proved to have an innate knack for fixing and building things, and for being a good soldier. When he was 10, he had his first major machinery accident, scarring and burning his face, and leaving him without a left ear. From then on he learned to work far more carefully, even to the detriment of time. At the age of 18, he was inducted into the Enclave Air Force at the rank of Airman, and started work as a full-time mechanic. Eventually, he would get promoted enough to be able to fly and maintain his own veritbird. As an oddity, and from personal preference, he chose to use one of the remaining older Transport models, rather than the newer gunship models used by many of the current pilots. Weapon choice= A cut-down AER9 laser rifle, with a shortened barrel and stock, to enable it to fit next to him in his Vertibird's cockpit. He also keeps a combat knife in a sheath in his right boot. Any other info not included in the above=Flies an older Transport-class Vertibird(The type from Fallout 2).
Name= David Blackford
Age= 227 years old
Looks (picture optional)= David suffers from the usual charred, rotting skin of a ghoul, but unlike most managed to keep a nearly-full head of hair, though it has gone from its former chocolate brown to an ashy grey color. His eyes have also changed, now a bright orange, reminiscent of the atomic fire that scorched the earth a year ago. He is 5 feet 11 inches in height, and has a weight of 178 pounds. He wears the outfit of a catholic preacher, but tattered, and with a scavenged military belt at his waist, a pistol holster and clasped Bible hanging off of the belt.
Personality= A devout Christian, David believes in doing good for those who do good for him. He always volunteers to help those in need, whether that means building a house, or blowing the brains out of a raider's head. He enjoys a good joke, good friends, and good food. He's all-around a nice guy.
Backstory= David does not divulge upon his life before the war, as he sees thinking on it as a pointless endeavor. He prefers to focus on how people can build up the world they have now. Seeing the Great War as the Wrath of God unleashed upon humanity, and that there are people who still have not learned from the mistake, David takes it upon himself to bring the judgement of God to those who have begun to prey on weaker survivors. He does not preach, he does not hold prayer sermons, he merely wanders the wasteland, bringing swift justice to bandit and raider types. He's been as far south as Atlanta, and as far west as Chicago, going off of a tattered pre-war map he found years ago, updating it with writings in pencil, chalk, marker, or anything else he can write with. He's come to New York with the hopes of ending its slave trade with the Pitt, before striking at the Pitt itself, and overall ending the raider threat.
Weapon choice= On his hip he keeps a .45 caliber handgun, nicknamed the 'Hand of God'.
Any other info not included in the above= He keeps a backpack, with a bedroll tied to the bottom. Inside, he carries approx. 1 week's worth of food and water, a decent supply of ammo for his handgun, and a small stock of medical supplies.
Nathan heard the order to retreat to Vault 81, and knew immediatly that it would mean the death of everyone in the Enclave. Instead, he set his Vertibird down behind a large factory, and proceeded to rip out the homing beacon, fry it with his laser rifle, and switch off his radio. "I love my country, but at least I know when a tactical retreat is in order." He mumbled as he spat at the charred metal, moving to begin scraping off the Enclave symbol from his Vertibird and Combat Armor, and tearing the patches off his fatigues. With any luck, he may be able to find some sort of settlement where he could hide away for a while. Hell, even the Brotherhood of Steel sounded good at this point.... David witnessed not only the retreat of the Enclave, but also the rush of former slaves, captured by both the former Raiders, and the Enclave themselves. He turned to the others in the Brotherhood's party and said "We should do our best to free them. No one deserves to live like this." He would then holster his weapon, and set about looking for ways to remove the collars.
