Bio

Anyone remember the period a little after guildfall, when the site didn't have a lot of work put into it, the servers went down pretty often and people were moving out? We waited and waited until boom, Mahz made America the guild great again. That was about where I left off.

My mistake was trying to take on everything at once (and being cringy as hell but I mean come on). Well now I'm back, and better than ever.

And I'll be damned if I let anything get in the way of having a good time.

Yeah, all of that which they just said. Tony wouldn't really care enough to mention it either.
Something good and bad happened to Derrick at exactly the same time, and he wasn't sure where he stood afterwards. Just before the light went out he'd spied the keys. He sat in the gloom for a little while, not willing to fumble in the dark. It was dusty in the hall, which was good. He didn't quite remember what the wolfwing smelled like, but he was sure that the only scent was dust, which meant that it didn't frequent this area. But assuming that it was the one that locked them in the cells, why did it leave the keys out?

It didn't take long for his eyes to adjust. As they did he scanned the area for suspicious shapes, noting the animal trophies, the empty weapon racks, the tattered tapestries. Had this area been some kind of garrison? He'd have to ask the others about it, his knowledge of the local area was extremely limited.

Derrick walked forward carefully, wary for threats. The lantern and plate shard did little to assure him of his chances of success should he be attacked. He gingerly took the key ring with the the same hand holding the lantern, wincing slightly as the keys clattered against the metal lantern. He turned back towards the hall, sparing a glance of his shoulder one last time, before he began walking back towards the light.

*sigh* If I had known it would be so easyou for the party to find out he was a demon, I never would added that item to my list in the first place. That makes one useless enchanted item that was a waste of space. Well make it two, the ring doesn't have a point anymore either since the statue gives incredible knowledge of magic that could lead to extreme power, that makes two useless items that were a waste.

It's more of a suspicion right now, you know. He might be half demon or a quarter demon or something, or maybe he has a live demon's head that shoots lightning or something. Or he made a deal with a demon. There are plenty of ways he could have "demon powers", so Tony doesn't 100% know that he's a demon.

And if you want to talk about wasting items then take a look at my character's entire non-combat inventory. Its only purpose is for his backstory, which I could've easily taken out.

I have to ask though, why'd you want to hide it in the first place? I just want to know (although I suppose actually telling me would be defeating the purpose of hiding it in the first place :\)
Right, there we go.
@Lord of Evil

Tony wouldn't know Astiroth is a demon since Astiroth is in human form and has addressed himself as Jason. Unless Tony has the ability to see through it then yes.

Could've heard them talking. Actually, gimme a minute.
Tony swung his axe into the tree, making a deep gouge in the fallen tree. He hacked again, and again, until thick piece of wood detached from the log. He picked it up and lay it on its side, chopping into quarters before depositing the pieces into his pack. Tony took a moment to wipe the sweat off his brow and take a swig of water. He had quite a lot of wood, enough for a large fire, and some kindling to get it going. The muscled man considered going back. He had probably had enough wood to last the night as well as cook some dinner. But then he heard the noise.

Paws hitting the ground, faraway conversation and most importantly, the roar of a rather angry bear. Tony decided to investigate. On emerging through some shrubbery he spotted 2 of the crew engaged with a bear. Tony assumed that it was part of the sacrifice deal. A whole bear though, and it was likely that someone else had gotten something considering it was only 2 of them taking on a bear. He managed to catch a snippet of their conversation through the angry growling, the demon woman mentioned something about the man's demon powers, checking the man off of Tony's human checklist.

Tony frowned and retreated, going back to the fallen log. If it was a bear he'd need more wood, no question about it. And if the others had gotten something else, he'd need more than that. Tony sighed and raised his axe, bringing it down onto the dead tree with a solid thud. Just a little longer and he'd have the materials to cook up the sacrifices, assuming they left a body. He sure hoped they weren't planning to just throw away the carcasses. Sure, his teammates were demons, but he'd cook for them regardless. It was his duty as his chef, to feed anyone who was hungry however he could.
Finn's phone rang. Normally this wouldn't be much of a problem, only this time he was in a rather odd situation.
"Can you just... Let me just..." Finn said, adjusting his grip so that one of his arms was wrapped securely around his torso.
He fished his phone out of the pockets as the ringtone silenced itself. He scanned the message and he swore loudly.
"Thomas!" Finn said.
"What?" The black haired boy replied, already looking at him.
"Blue guild distress call! We're being raided!" He exclaimed.
That would explain the commotion outside. It was highly likely that the guild war had begun, white vs black, which meant their respective allies were also under the crosshairs, the blue and green guilds. It would be a theoretically even fight, although the odds would be slightly stacked against green considering their numbers were mainly newbies, but there was a reason they hadn't been steamrolled despite their odds and they were a formidable force regardless. No need to think about the white guild, they were powerhouses. The blue guild wouldn't lose out, but only if their king was there to command them. And right now, she wasn't.

Thomas sighed and came to a decision.
"Go, Finn." Thomas said.
"You don't need to tell me twice!" He said, quickly releasing Alex. "Take care of my body, Tommy!"
With that, Finn unceremoniously slumped onto a nearby wall as he dove into deep ground. Thomas clicked his tongue and shifted it into a slightly more comfortable position next to the practically comatose king. Thomas sighed once again; it seemed his workload had increased. He decided to study the blue king's prone form, poking her in the cheek. He tried listening for any signs of activity, or even life. He was sure she wasn't dying or anything... Actually, he wasn't. He didn't have any idea what was going on.
"You, Alex." Thomas said, turning to the boy. "I don't know you very well, but I'm going to have to trust you."
The boy was the only lead there was right now, and Thomas didn't have the resources to play this how he liked. He didn't quite know Alex that much but he was close enough to Maribel to be somewhat trustworthy.
"Right now we need to get the blue king to wake up and be normal." He said. "If we don't, it's highly likely that there won't be a blue guild to be king of any more."

Welcome, Blue Nova

A white guild warrior with two swords chased a hapless blue guild rogue with no ammo. A classic scenario. The rogue sprinted around a corner in abject terror. The warrior followed closely behind, only to be brought to a screeching halt due to a liberal application of metal knuckles onto his face. The white warrior glanced around as best he could to find the owner of the fist that obstructed his stampede, seeing a figure shrouded by shadows.
"Don't you think that's a little... stupid?" The figure said.
The arm behind the fist tensed and the figure's hand began emitting a harsh blue light, illuminating the figure's single eye.
"Chasing an enemy through their own territory..." Blue Nova said. "Just who the hell do you think we are!?"
The Blue Nova burst into action as his nova burst exploded out, sending his fist straight through the warrior's head. The body collapsed and disappeared into exp crystals as the Blue Nova stepped forward, cracking his neck.
"People have no respect these days." Blue Nova muttered.

Behind him the rogue picked up the dropped exp and ran off, probably towards the citadel to get healed up and restock on ammo. Finn didn't really care about the exp so he let him go and stepped forward towards the frontline.
Who's in charge around here? Bel's out cold, so it's probably Absynthe. Finn thought.
He shuddered at that. There wasn't anything really wrong with the girl, it's just she wasn't exactly an ideal leader. And she was pretty new, he was worried about whether she'd gotten used to it yet.

An explosion snapped Nova out of his musings and Finn remembered who he was and what he needed to do. He'd leave the thinking for Thomas, or Absynthe, or whoever it was that needed to think. He was Blue Nova, and he was here to fight.

Blue Nova quickly jumped up to the top of a nearby wall to survey the carnage.
"Hoo boy. This is way worse than I thought it was." He said out loud.
It would get worse if Bel didn't come back but no use worrying about that. Thomas would do something. He took a deep breath and declared his presence to the enemies nearby.
"Hey, losers, don't you have something better to do than bully my guildmates!?" He yelled. "You better be ready for the consequences, I aint stoppin till you drop!"
With that the Blue Nova jumped into the fray, fists ready to pound some dudes into the ground.

@KoL and anyone who's blue side right now
Derrick paused to see where the other half of his toothpick went. Noting that it was ground into powder in the lock, he decided that it was probably best to switch tactics. He didn't think that it was going to work, but it was worth a shot. Logically speaking, what he needed to do was get a key to the cell, which would be risky. Assuming it was the wolfwing that locked them in there, it would also have the key, and Derrick was pretty sure he couldn't beat it alone and unarmed. Kenza had mentioned something about finding their weapons and armour. A good idea, assuming it hadn't thrown them away or was keeping them on its person. Maybe it had kept their weapons somewhere, but what would it do with them? Nevertheless, it's not like Derrick had any other options right now. He wasn't the type to abandon his teammates so he'd have to try and find the key.

"I'm going to find the key." Derrick said, getting up. "Hopefully I won't run into that thing, but just in case..."
Derrick broke the tray in 2 and handed half of it to Kenza through the bars before drawing his own plate shard.
"You might still be able to use some of that." He told her. "I'll be back soon."
Derrick stepped back from the cell and scanned the hall, unsure of which direction to go to. He decided to go down the hall where the wolfwing had left, reasoning that it likely led out of the prison block. Steeling his resolve, he stepped forth into the gloom.

Going shopping today but I'll post. Eventually.
Guys, stop hunting stuff. We're gonna have to eat all of it and fresh meat doesn't keep for that long.
