Been busy lately, courtesy of the guy who thought that it was a good idea to have 3 assignments and a test due in the same week.

Bio

Anyone remember the period a little after guildfall, when the site didn't have a lot of work put into it, the servers went down pretty often and people were moving out? We waited and waited until boom, Mahz made America the guild great again. That was about where I left off.

My mistake was trying to take on everything at once (and being cringy as hell but I mean come on). Well now I'm back, and better than ever.

And I'll be damned if I let anything get in the way of having a good time.

Right, that checks out.
"Right. Sorry." Derrick said, lowering his volume down to an appropriate level.
He was sort of nervous about leading the way, as he had never been much of a leader. But he calmed himself by thinking that he was just guiding the group.

At the junction, he took a moment to decide where to go. He hadn't actually been to the left, and that was where the one solitary torch was. It was tempting to explore there, but he hadn't completely explored that room at the right. It may have been a dead end, it may have been a path forward, but it was probably worth checking out a little more. They probably didn't exactly want to split up at the moment so he decided to go right, because he hadn't seen any sign of the Wolfwing in it.
"This way." He whispered, gesturing for them to follow. "This room seems to be some kind of guard barracks. There might be something useful left inside."
With that, he walked back into the dusty room.

@Lightning Mind if Tony pushes you a little bit?
@Lord of EvilVery well. Expect me to have a reply up in the next 24 hours. It's too late to be writing now though.

I'll post going right then.
Hm... Gonna recheck right for now since I forgot to check if it kept going.
I was gonna go back down the hall.
Finn was having a good time, or at least, he had been about to have one. Lots of strong enemies to fight, explosive situations, more enemies to fight... Well, he didn't really need anything other than dudes to fight to have a good time anyway. But he unfortunately wouldn't have much time to fight all of them, or any of them for that matter, if he didn't take care of the problem right in front of him.

A tank, his mortal enemy. It was difficult to take down a tank with all that armor, and their weapons regularly shredded through lightly armored targets like him. The easiest way to beat one was to take down its pilot which would be easy enough if he got the drop on them. The easiest way for the pilot to kill Finn would be to get the drop on him. And unfortunately, that was the case this time around.

Finn barely got his shield up in time, a testament to the reflexes built into him through constant fighting. He didn't move until a few moments later, which was long enough for the first shell to bust straight through his shield. The shield was robust enough to withstand the hit, directing it just enough to miss him. As the wall behind him exploded from the impact, Blue Nova threw himself behind the closest wall.
"Oh come on, That's a bit rude isn't it?!" He yelled at the tank operator.

It was at this moment that Finn became aware of the gravity of their situation. Most of the screams and deaths were on the blue side, and he slowly became aware of the sheer amount of fire coming from non-blue guild sources. Most of the problem was probably a lack of coordination. God knows where Absynthe was, Maribel was out cold, and things were generally in chaos. He watched a blue guild member shower the tank he was facing with a sub machine gun, even while a sword wielding avatar was bearing down on him.
We're screwed.

That was a matter of fact. Even if the blue king were to show up herself right now in her personal battle tank, it would only help to mitigate the losses. The fact of the matter was that the blue city was done for. But that didn't mean the blue guild was out. Finn didn't think about the later, the only thing he needed to focus on was those in front of him. He wasn't going down without a fight.

Finn took stock: His armor, weapons, and a few grenades he'd managed to loot after the update. Weak frags they were, but they'd do something. He pulled the pin on one and threw it towards the tank before making a mad dash towards different cover. Of course he planned to fight the tank and its operator, but if that last tank shell was anything to go by, the wall wouldn't last 1 round. His shield was on cooldown and he'd need it to make his approach. Who knew what weapons the tank still had, or whoever was piloting it had? He took cover and took another grenade. He only had 2 more, so he'd have to make them last.

@Lonewolf685
Good luck you guys. I'll be stalking you from the shadows...
@Lord of Evil

Fazzer has been MIA. If I have time tomorrow, I might just do Bel's scene as part of my post and go from there.

Ok then
@TheWindex What's going on with that colab?
