So apparently, business shorts are a thing that exists. All I can say is... why?

Been busy lately, courtesy of the guy who thought that it was a good idea to have 3 assignments and a test due in the same week.

Bio

Anyone remember the period a little after guildfall, when the site didn't have a lot of work put into it, the servers went down pretty often and people were moving out? We waited and waited until boom, Mahz made America the guild great again. That was about where I left off.

My mistake was trying to take on everything at once (and being cringy as hell but I mean come on). Well now I'm back, and better than ever.

And I'll be damned if I let anything get in the way of having a good time.

@Lonewolf685 Yeah sorry about that, I was in a rush to get to university this morning. Guess he's dead.

Is this plan why Blue Nova didn't react to the tank shell that was fired at him? I don't want to make an accusation of foul play to wait out a cool down timer, but unless you missed a literal tank shell fired on you, I would appreciate a response that acknowledges events.

Actually, I did miss that. Gimme a sec. If that's the case, he's probably dead.
@Lord of Evil

Is Nova dead?

If things go as planned he'll be at low hp, probably around a third.
Blue Nova was halfway behind cover when the sleeping spell struck, closing the distance between him and the tank. Part of his mind was indignant at the fact that the tank's operator was a mage. Mages typically didn't need any more firepower than what they had, and a mage with sleep operating a tank? That was just overkill. The rest of his head was falling asleep, however.

He fumbled for something in his inventory, anything that could help him out of this. In frustration he pulled out one of his few remaining grenades, preparing to throw it at the tank as a gesture of defiance, but as he pulled the pin out his legs gave way and his throwing arm weakened before it'd even left cover, and he collapsed where he stood, dropping the grenade onto the ground.

He tried vainly to keep his eyes open, crawling a little away from the grenade, even managing to say a few words.
"I... Hate... Mages..." Blue Nova said, before he promptly fell asleep.

With that, the tank shell exploded along with the grenade, reducing the area to a crater, leaving naught but a cluster of exp crystals behind.

@KoL Hey, can I get Icy Mint's details again? I just wanna check the skill description.
Oh boy it's starting to get spicy in here
Was that post alright?
Derrick heard Kenza before he felt it; the statue had begun pulling its pieces together. He turned and noticed that Kenza had already evacuated the area, realizing that it was probably a bad idea to be standing where he was right now. Just how bad he wasn't really sure, but he didn't think he wanted to stay there.

As the pull began, Derrick started backpedaling, going in the direction his teammates were. One step behind the other, he quickly moved away while focused on the statue's movements. All of a sudden, one of his feet slipped from under him and he fell onto his side. In panic he rolled away, managing to avoid going to the light, before stopping abruptly as he bumped into a wall.
"Ow." He spluttered, rising to a crouch.

At least he wasn't close to the statue anymore, but he wasn't that close to his teammates either.
"I'm okay..." Derrick said, slightly dazed.
He rose to his feet, using his shortspear as a crutch, eyeing the statue carefully to see what would happen.

Oooh, is that how this is going down... Gimme a sec.
Looks like Thomas had his orders. He supposed that he did want to see what was up in the blue guild currently, but he wasn't exactly in a place where he could feasibly hide his own body while he went in to check on the blue guild. He decided to go home for now. He was sure that Alex could take care of the blue king, despite his questionable actions in regards to her body. Maybe he was a closet sadist or something, he'd seemed awfully keen on dousing the blue king. Thomas supposed that he could say the same thing about himself, with the enthusiasm he used to tie up Maribel. Still, he'd had a good reason for it. If she had been attempting to murder the president, it probably wouldn't have been a good idea to leave her unbound. Still, it would've seemed strange to the girl at the very least, so he'd have to make up for that somehow.

Alright. Heading home now.

Thomas sent the reply and began walking, before he stopped and thought for a moment.

Sorry. For a lot of things. Be careful on your way home.

That was the least he owed the blue haired girl. With that done, Thomas walked home and half-hoped that the whole mess would be over by the time he logged in.
