My 1x1 thread, because I'm a shameless hack.

Ocean of Intrigue - leans more into the mystery aspect of being stranded in the ocean

Grip of the Hand - leans into the aspect of "The Hand" pulling the strings on everything

Gilded Prison - we're stranded out in the middle who knows where, but at least we have fancy food and toilet paper

Maybe once we unravel the story a bit more more creative names could be come up with. Like why are The Hand here? What do they want? Does someone on the ship have something special? How did they teleport us? Is the ship itself special? Maybe once we have a few more details a more significant title.

It's true!

The big angel guy didn't seem to want to answer anyone's questions, instead summoning up several pairs of glasses and goggles. Isaac's happened to be a pair of sleek black goggles, polished to a reflective finish. Strapping them on, they fit quite snuggly. Not too constricting, but not loose enough that they'd be in danger of coming off. Even then he could always adjust them sometime later. And what do you know, they matched his wardrobe. If these really were necessary for all this digimon stuff, he'd've had mixed feelings about wearing bright yellow goggles or something.

Before he could reasonably do anything else, all he heard at the tail end of the conversation was "You'll find out" before there was another flash of light. He was in a forest this time, with all these other strangers. Looks like they were taking the "Go find monsters in the woods" approach. The shortest of the group spoke out first, yelling out before taking off, and then coming back quickly afterwards. Isaac looked towards the short boy and half-assedly pointed in his direction. "I like your enthusiasm. You will be the first to die."

Just then, as if fate willed it so, another girl fell out of the goddamn sky and landed on said boy. Isaac's normally stoic frown broke into a toothy half smile at the circumstances. The new girl, much like everyone else was quite confused. One of the other girls, a pink-haired one, explained the situation with what little info they had, before introducing herself at Yurie. Isaac stepped forwards, removing the goggles from his eyes to the edge of his beanie. "Name's Isaac. Isaac Skye. Work for for a software company out in New York. Ain't much else to it."

This season has a way of tricking the wallet into thinking it's bigger than it is, too, lol. Is that a Groudon you're describing in your post? The big ruby thing? If so, I'd like to mention this in my next Haze post, since she saw a Kyogre and would have a very different reaction to the king of volcanoes.

I didn't have any specific one in mind so I left it ambiguous, but yeah we could do Groudon.
Elixir
I totally didn't fall asleep after I got home and then get dragged on a several hour long shopping trip upon waking up. It's merely a trick of the mind.

Jimmy strained visibly as he helped the Machamp to his feet, the Pokémon much heavier than he had anticipated. He then heard a cry from nearby as a woman in a chef's outfit ran towards him and the Machamp, clamping them a three-way handshake. She thanked him profusely, before offering them a meal on the house. "Yeah, I think I can work with that." Jimmy smirked, once more full of confidence. He also noticed the suit the Machamp was wearing wasn't looking so good anymore. He had made suits for Pokémon before, but not specifically for a Machamp. Those four arm holes would be a bit of a challenge, but nothing he couldn't handle. Perhaps he could--

The ship rattled again as Jimmy snapped back reality. There would be time for that later. A voice on the loudspeaker rang out, asking the passengers to get to the main stadium for evacuation. Sounded like as good of an idea as any. Looks like it was time to hit the-- "Oh hey what's that?" Jimmy's eyes were immediately drawn to a rattling stone on the floor, apparently having come from the pillar that had just fallen over. As he held it in his hand, he could feel inspirational tingles in the back of his mind. Normally he would get out his sketchbook and let his mind wander, but there wasn't exactly time for that.

Slipping the stone into one of his suit's inside pockets, he began to make his way towards the stadium. Now all he had to do was remember how to get there. He had spent his time mostly just wandering around without any real thought, or following the crowd as the main event was underway. Fortunately for him, maps were pretty commonplace, so it couldn't be too hard, right? It's not like the flickering lights, screaming people, and several alcoholic beverages in his system would hinder him in any significant amount. Just gotta do this one step at a time.

He'd make it about halfway there when a giant holographic Pokémon erupted through the floor, sending several passengers reeling back in fear. Jimmy couldn't quite see what it was, but what he could see was a beautiful shade of red, like the last flickers of light over the sunset. Jimmy instinctively reached for his sketchbook, only for a stray passenger to elbow him in the side as they ran past him towards the evac point. Right. There was danger. There would be time for that stuff later.

Several flights of stairs later an exhausted Jimmy made it to the central stadium. Unfortunately for Jimmy the suit he was wearing was for social events, not sporting events. Although... maybe he could make a suit specifically for sporting events! It could breathe easy, with flexible joints that--

The ship's floor rocked once more as Jimmy stumbled forwards. Right. Gotta keep focus.
I'll see about getting something for Jimmy half drunkenly stumbling his way to the evac point later tonight.

Isaac stifled a laugh as he watched the angelic figure thwack the two on the head. Though he listened rather intently as the two angelic forms spoke. Digimon? Digital World? So this was... a parallel universe created by the internet? Maybe that Hawking guy wasn't smoking crack after all. Or did somebody stick a VR headset on him while he was blinded? Judging by the fact that he could still adjust his beanie and hair, probably not.

So some guy named Yggdrasil was the God of this place, and needs humans to help these guys reach their full potential? That just sounds like every monster catching game ever made.

"So say we do go along with this. How ecactly do we go about this whole 'unlocked potential' thing? The power of friendship? Do we fuse our souls together to make some kind of new creature? Or does our mere presence just magically somehow make you more capable?"

While Isaac was completely genuine, his face was almost completely expressionless, aside from the slight scowl he normally wore. Most of his emotion seemed to come from his tone and gestures as he talked.

"And also, even if we can unlock these potentials, what exactly are we supposed to be doing? Going town to town recruiting an army? Do you have an army we're supposed to train? Are we supposed go find monsters in the woods to capture and use? We need more details, man." Isaac lifted his arms out as he spoke eventually dropping them back to his side as he finished speaking with a thud, his voice getting ever so slightly more exasperated.
