I'm pretty sure that's supposed to be an all-cast fusion.

And before anyone calls me out for drive-by nitpicking, I'm working on a character.

I understand that but jk Rowling wrote the slytherins as very bad, I don't think there was any slytherin student in the books that was portrayed in a good light, hell they were not even allowed to help in the battle of Hogwarts

J. K. Rowling stated in a PotterCast interview that some Slytherins were among the reinforcements brought by Slughorn during the Battle of Hogwarts.

PotterCast 131 J.K. Rowling Interview Transcript said
JN: And how much is it that being sorted into Slytherin is, you know, sorted into good guys and bad guys here?

JKR: Well, they’re not all bad, that would- I know I’ve said this before, (JN: Yeah, I remember.) and I think I said it to Emerson, they are not all bad, and, well, far from it. As we know, at the end, they may have (laughs) a slightly more highly developed sense of self-preservation then other people because…

SU: Yeah, right.

JN: Yeah.

JKR: A part of the final battle that made me smile was Slughorn galloping back with Slytherins, (SU: Yes!) (JN laughs) but they’d gone off to get reinforcements first, you know what I’m saying? But yes, they came back, they came back to fight, so I mean- but I’m sure that many people would say “Well, that’s common sense, isn’t it? Isn’t that smart, to get out, get more people and come back with them?”

JN: Yeah.

JKR: It’s the old saying, (SU: Just…) “There is no truth, (JN: I believe it.) there are only points of view.”

Lockhart's in the movie timeline also, so I don't see why it should mess that up for you.

Because I copy-pasted a character with a backstory that only works post-Deathly Hallows.
MiddleEarthRoze said I mean, she will be getting a fairly oblivious, air-headed DADA teacher in her second year...

Wait, we are doing book timeline after all?

Bugger, I have a backstory to rewrite.
I'm going to say average for now.
•Name: Allison MacDonald
•Age: 11
•Gender: Female
•House: Gryffindor
•Magical Heritage: Half-blood (Witch for a mother)
•Species: Human
•Appearance: Hi!
•Backstory: There’s not a lot to be said about her personally, really. She lost her maternal grandparents during the first war, and her parents spent much of the second in hiding after her mother was labelled a “blood traitor”.
•Personality: Outgoing and friendly, but steadfast in her convictions. And if you know what’s good for you, don’t hurt her friends, because she will make you regret it.
•Personal Items:
••Wand: Eleven inches, Ebony, Unicorn Hair core. Solid.
••Owns a Tawny Owl named Isimud.
•Special gifts and abilities: N/A
...Well?

Oh, by the way, the book timeline begins in 1991. The movie timeline is supposed to start in the same year, but there are obvious errors during filming - such as the millennium bridge, and obvious change in style of clothes. If so it kinda has to begin in 1991 if we're doing canon only dates - I suppose we just have to remember not to mention anything before that time!

And the fact that the props department dated a load of newspapers for film 6 to 2007. And car numberplates. Stuff like that.
Jon sighed as he tried to get comfortable on the tree branch he was laying on. In some ways, he wasn't sure what he was doing here, since he'd started travelling to "find himself", whatever the hell that meant, not sit up in a tree on some south pacific island reading manga all day. Well, when he wasn't working the reception desk in one of the hotels so that he actually had money to live off.

Either way, this island was certainly a hell of a lot better than what he'd left behind.

You've frightened me already. ;D

These details are interesting to say the least- I didn't think about it when watching the film at all.
I don't see any harm in making our own plots and details for this roleplay; considering it's not a reenactment of the story.

Sane people tend not to. They sit back and enjoy the movie.
