Awesome. By the by, first time in Shadowrun, but i am a fast learner and tend to look into a ton of stuff. Ermine got to experience me poring over things in books last night. I think i spent like a total of 10 hours straight just poring over rules
Name: Kelraz (alias Mana Troll)

Role: Mage/Academic/Medic/Mage Duelist

Metatype: Fomorian (Troll metatype)

Height/Weight: 6'6", 530 pounds

Background: Following his goblinization, Kelraz experienced quite the disowning. Rather than just cast him out, his parents tried to kill him. After a couple gunshot wounds and a few stab wounds, Kelraz dragged his bloody heap into a random neighborhood, forsaking the family name and any desire to see them again. There, some surprisingly down to earth elves brought him in and nursed him back to health. Once he could walk, he surprised them by quickly showing massive academic aptitude. They directed him to a professor for further learning. There, he underwent his Awakening as he learned science and humanities. After awakening, due to a bit of bad luck, he touched some cold forged steel. It caused minor pain all along the place it touched. After learning of his more mild allergy, Kelraz convinced the professor to let him test other metals. The other metals were not allergy inducing. He then spied and old blade in a display case. The steel was oddly made, holding a weird grain. The professor opened the case for him to touch the blade and no sooner than he touched it did his skin begin to burn with searing pain. A bout of cursing and a bandaged hand later, Kelraz committed his two new allergies to memory, hoping he never had to worry about them. in addition, the Awakening caused his eyes to become pure gold in color. Not an amazing trait if you want to be invisible, but something he lives with.

His time with the professor ended after he mastered all the material in the professor's teaching ability. This left him on the streets to fend for himself. His knowledge and his ability to cast spells led him to begin shadowrunning. He quickly discovered that his goblinization carried a recessive trait that gave him a consistent layer of armor in his skin that felt somewhat like smooth, soft stone. As he ran, he gained combat skills and learned spells, becoming a veritable combat medic, scholar, and mage all in one. Then, he was betrayed.

The crew he ran with left him to die as part of their mission objectives. Apparently, he had pissed someone off. Luckily for him, the guards were terrible shots and he escaped with his life. That is how he made it to Moetesville. He came in loaded with all his mission gear and quickly set up as a slum emergency doctor. It kept him busy and kept the authorities from looking too closely as he had the license needed for the work. He didn't do surgery, but he provided first aid and emergency healing, often masking his magical healing as simply impressive skill. All the while, he worked the underground to attempt to figure out who burned him and why.

Skills: Survival skills with athletic abilities, scholarly knowledge, first aid, spellcasting, and summoning. Proficient in hand to hand, skilled in archery. Able to use Arcana to figure out new spells.

Rissi moved quickly. She took a side step and aimed a throw, intending it to hit near, not on, the goblin. The vial of acid flew in a perfect arc and landed right where she wanted, splashing the caustic contents all over the goblin. She couldn't help but laugh and mock the goblin, figuring turnabout was fair play for them. "Melt and burn, your presence we shall spurn! Break and snap, you fell right into our trap!"

I didnt see a post for one
Sole seems to have run into something. I hope it gets back up since I was craving some 4th ed and wanted to play this Vampire/Monk.
I'm going to duck out. Massive exposition in a roleplay is not my style. Sorry guys, I do not find multi-paragraph RP fun to be in. Have a good time and good gaming/roleplaying.
Tertia is kinda there still, barely keeping conscious from mental strain.

Also, modem died last week, posting will be slow till Tuesday at the latest
Rissi nodded and chuckled softly. "Why didn't you tell me you had fur? I would have felt less lonely around here. So, think I should go in with bombs or crack some skulls?" She looked up at the fox-like woman next to her and tapped her tail patiently along the ground. "Definitely gonna need a bath after this. I hate being dirty." She wasn't kidding. As she was genetically related to rats, she had a very big clean streak when it came to keeping her fur clean and her whiskers straight. That being said, she could and would deal with grime until she could bathe next.
I like Pachamac's idea with tags. I also like the proposed idea from Drache about stating specific posting pace in interest checks. I usually see a rate of "often" and can't make heads or tails of it.
