They finally found an inn that would work. It wasn't the best choice but to them it didn't matter, especially when they had spent most days in Kirkwall staying in Lowtown and drinking in the Hanged Man Inn. They were just settling into the inn as well, both standing by the bar waiting for their drinks when Zeynep felt a hand tap her shoulder. Zeynep thought to herself annoyed. At least punching someone in the face would be somewhat pleasant to her. When she turned around though to see the person who tapped her shoulder she got the the surprised of her life. It was another qunari, her mind race trying to piece it all together. They had found her, she had been running from the Qun all these years, from those that would enslave her and let her rot under the care of another. Zeynep couldn't go back to that life. She would die before rejoining the Qun. She had nearly begun to reach for her staff when the stranger asked the question of whether or not Zeynep was a part of the Qun. Zeynep couldn't help but laugh at the question before thinking."Maker no I'm not a part of the Qun, not after what they did to me. Plus I'm with a dwarf," she said pointing to her companion."Hey I heard that," Gavlan said as he turned back to the bar, seeing now that he wouldn't have to take out his axe at the moment to aid his friend.Zeynep regained her composer and continued ",And you? Are you part of the Qun, here to take me back and get my tongue cut out.""Oh boy here we go," Gavlan said turning back to the conversation between the two qunari and waiting to see if this was going to be a fight or not once more. The dwarf hoped not, he rather have his mead and hit the hay for the dead rather then have to deal with a bar fight.

Rasie's reaction was rather odd considering she may be attacked by a dwarf, but she nonetheless grinned and chuckled. "I am far from Qun. In fact, I myself am hated by the Qun since I didn't convert upon meeting them. Let's just say that I am not from around here as to why I am not Qun." Finally taking into account the dwarf, she looked at him and her grin widened as she spoke a couple weird words and her eyes flared with magic for just a moment. That moment passed as she quickly canceled her Combat Magic. "No need to draw weapons, friend. If anyone were here for her, they would have to deal with me as well. The Qun rather hate mages, and I seem to be even scarier owing to the one who trained me."

The Kossith motioned over to a nearby table and waved to the tender. Again whispering, she spoke before turning to walk to the table. "Might be better to talk at a table. Prying ears and hostile eyes. Never know who may be converted, eh?" Her turning gave the two a good look at her choice of armament, a crossbow. Her bolts were strapped to her left thigh while the weapon itself was slung about her hips so it faced her right hand. Overall, she seemed oddly out of place in heavy armor, with a crossbow, and yet utilizing magic.
Rasie wandered the streets, careful to keep her coin purse carefully hidden within her armor. Despite her precaution, it was largely unnecessary as the people tended to give her a wide berth. She looked intimidating and her multiple pairs of horns led them often to believe that she was some high rank. She made no attempt to contradict them as it gave her the necessary breathing room to spot the familiar horns of another of her race. She had to be cautious, though. The Qunari were not fond of her and she knew not to interfere if people's lives were not at stake.

She followed her into a tavern, only just noticing the dwarf when they entered. Seeing what most Qunari would call bas led her to believe something may be different for this one, so she came up from behind and tapped the other woman's shoulder. "Qun or no?" She almost rasped the question under her breath as she assumed a slightly more combative stance. She hoped it was someone she could relate to, but she also ran into far too many outcast pretenders trying to trap her.
As a mage, I go control mage, so I do not heal teammates
I was taking out the archers and mages since my character was a mage. I'm like, "Ok, time for the ogre." And I look over and there is a dead ogre on the ground with my dog standing over it. I was just like "Daaaaaaamn!"
Dog is awesome. Especially when he assassinates ogres
Morrigan and Flemeth are my favorites for different reasons.

Despite being incredibly old and powerful, Flemeth still muddles in our affairs and also appreciates a good sarcastic banter.

Morrigan is interesting since she loves survival of the fittest and yet has a bit of a gentler side too. She is also quite logical as well. Refreshing change of pace for a female character in games.

Not sure if elves would take too kindly to letting outsiders know of their ways. Human or not. Though if I may suggestion, if your character did get tutelage from Flemmeth, it's likely that she'd know the ways of the Arcane Warrior. This a bit questionable about the "Stasis" thing however. Admitdly I do think somewhere in the Codex mentioned mages using the fade as a place to hone their skills as time does not flow at the same rate (Which turned to be a bad idea) as in the mortal world. Think like the Fade Dream sequence in the Mage tower. though I don't know how your body would be physically active if you're in a dream state.

It was a magical anomaly that basically made her get stuck between Fade and physical world. And I could have been trained by Flemeth or my Kossith village could have had its own style of Arcane warrior. But, all in all, the stasis was a result of a massive magical influx, so once that is thrown in, magic gets nice and unpredictable. She was physically preserved but her mind was hit throughout the centuries, leading to her losing her abilities and her having to sacrifice the ability to shape mana in some ways to get back into the physical world. (Imagine her basically losing levels in a sense. She was say level 20 and is now about level 7, though her escape forever barred her from taking spells from the trees she lost)

Centuries? Can Kossiths even live that long? I can imagine a blood mage getting ageless imortality, nit nothing else about the other classes would suggest extended longevity. Plus Arcane Warrior is an Elven magic. I'm surprise the kossith, who are typically magic-phobic even outside the Qun, would know about such arts. Though I'm suspecting artistic licence for how or when kossith set up any sort of village in Fereldan(Given thats where Flemmeth lived most if her life).

She was in a form of stasis. Basically a painful stay outside of the flow of time. Also, the colony being there is actual canon. Disappeared in First Blight, some female Kossith were turned into broodmothers, thus making ogres.

At -410 Ancient a group of kossith landed in the southern Korcari Wilds and established a colony. <--wiki for the Kossith, so was already there

As for learning Arcane Warrior, she could hav eeither seen it done and developed it or have learned it from elves in the area she could associate with. I did not feel a need to explain it really, but I can come up with a part of why. In addition, the Kossith are not necessarily one group or mindset. She was in a group that was not magic phobic and that likely would not have converted to Qun.

I did make a clerical error as Ancient is in negatives so I did the wrong direction of 20 years.

It would be if that was how the games worked. Wynne probably isn't even in the double-digits when you first get her, but she levels up at the same rate you do. Maybe the older characters used to be tough and their version of leveling up is just them getting back into it. I don't know, it's your character, not mine. If you want to play an older character who's never stopped training and is as powerful as you'd expect them to be at that point, I'll at least need some reason to believe you won't abuse them.

Technically my character is centuries old, so she is really out of it in this society. She luckily was from the colony and speaks the common language...and hates the Qun.
