Centuries? Can Kossiths even live that long? I can imagine a blood mage getting ageless imortality, nit nothing else about the other classes would suggest extended longevity. Plus Arcane Warrior is an Elven magic. I'm surprise the kossith, who are typically magic-phobic even outside the Qun, would know about such arts. Though I'm suspecting artistic licence for how or when kossith set up any sort of village in Fereldan(Given thats where Flemmeth lived most if her life).

She was in a form of stasis. Basically a painful stay outside of the flow of time. Also, the colony being there is actual canon. Disappeared in First Blight, some female Kossith were turned into broodmothers, thus making ogres.

At -410 Ancient a group of kossith landed in the southern Korcari Wilds and established a colony. <--wiki for the Kossith, so was already there

As for learning Arcane Warrior, she could hav eeither seen it done and developed it or have learned it from elves in the area she could associate with. I did not feel a need to explain it really, but I can come up with a part of why. In addition, the Kossith are not necessarily one group or mindset. She was in a group that was not magic phobic and that likely would not have converted to Qun.

I did make a clerical error as Ancient is in negatives so I did the wrong direction of 20 years.

Not sure if elves would take too kindly to letting outsiders know of their ways. Human or not. Though if I may suggestion, if your character did get tutelage from Flemmeth, it's likely that she'd know the ways of the Arcane Warrior. This a bit questionable about the "Stasis" thing however. Admitdly I do think somewhere in the Codex mentioned mages using the fade as a place to hone their skills as time does not flow at the same rate (Which turned to be a bad idea) as in the mortal world. Think like the Fade Dream sequence in the Mage tower. though I don't know how your body would be physically active if you're in a dream state.

It was a magical anomaly that basically made her get stuck between Fade and physical world. And I could have been trained by Flemeth or my Kossith village could have had its own style of Arcane warrior. But, all in all, the stasis was a result of a massive magical influx, so once that is thrown in, magic gets nice and unpredictable. She was physically preserved but her mind was hit throughout the centuries, leading to her losing her abilities and her having to sacrifice the ability to shape mana in some ways to get back into the physical world. (Imagine her basically losing levels in a sense. She was say level 20 and is now about level 7, though her escape forever barred her from taking spells from the trees she lost)

Makes more sense now that you've explained it. Strange, but that's not a bad thing. Lots of Tal-Vashoth though.

My favorite character was Sten precisely because he provided a differences in opinions in our world, and for the most part stood by them. While I can't see myself converting to the Qun, I can see it's merits as well as it's flaws. But who's perfect, eh? Which also wants me to ask, how many of the player party is still alive? Was Sten left to die in Lothering? Or is this timeline more or less Darkspawn Chronicles Sans important people lives? I'd imagine that Sten would have returned to his homeland even after Fereldan was lost, but I think it'll be fun to meet up/have to fight him.

Morrigan and Flemeth are my favorites for different reasons.

Despite being incredibly old and powerful, Flemeth still muddles in our affairs and also appreciates a good sarcastic banter.

Morrigan is interesting since she loves survival of the fittest and yet has a bit of a gentler side too. She is also quite logical as well. Refreshing change of pace for a female character in games.

I'm thinking it's basically going to be The Darkspawn Chronicles only with Allistair somehow alive. This means that Morrigan, Dog and Leliana are dead. Everyone else could presumably be alive and I've got plans for some of them.

Morrigan... Eh, she's fun, but I tend to disagree with her. Maybe because I always try to play Knight in Shining Armor, but sometimes I feel that she's trying too hard to be a cynic instead of a pragmatic. Still gives me funny feelings once you melt her Ice-Queen persona, but let's just say that she sometimes feels like that teenager who thinks he knows all there is in the world. It's a phase that works itself out, but that doesn't make it any less tiresome. Flemmeth was funny though, I like her. I still like Morrigan a bit better than Wynne though. I don't hate her, but Wynne always seems too condescending to me. Which is funny when I try to play the Knight in Shining Armor, as usually what I do is approved by Wynne, but i still rather not bring her along anyways.

But if there's one person in my party I always want to bring along, even against better judgement, it's Dog. Motherhubbar has killed more mages than the Right of Annulment.

I set Dog's gambits to go after Archers first, and than Mages. Fucking Scattershot maaaan. I wish I could give my character a dog (I was planning on making him a Ranger) but I'm not sure how that could have worked out when he's been working in the Deep Roads for nearly all his life. I might make him take up Ranger as a second specialization once he gets strong enough.

I was taking out the archers and mages since my character was a mage. I'm like, "Ok, time for the ogre." And I look over and there is a dead ogre on the ground with my dog standing over it. I was just like "Daaaaaaamn!"

If I'm not using a Warrior or Rogue (Or haven't leveled high enough to get Arcane Warrior as a mage) I always enter the battle as dog and than switch back to my main. I try to get the last hit on ogres just to get the kill cinematic. It was actually thanks to him that I even managed to defeat the High Dragon the first time I fought against him. I didn't know ringing the gong summoned him so I only had Myself (A Spirit Healer Mage), Liliana (For opening locks), Sten (just cause) and Dog (Same reason as Sten). Sten went down first and me and Liliana tried to kite the High Dragon, but eventually it hit harder than I could heal and I was dead. Liliana and Dog carried the rest of the fight but eventually even Liliana was nailed by a critical fireball before she could drink her Poultice (What) and I though "Well, guess I better reload" and waited for Dog to die. He didn't. Barely dead, but somehow a lot of the Dragon's attacks missed him and eventually he bit the ankles off of him.

Not that it's a bad post, but you do know that you posted in the OOC section right?

See, the forum has this neat function for IC/OOC. When you create a "New Roleplay" your first post isn't in the IC section, but in the OOC section. In a tab to the top left is the actual IC section, for quick access. I know that you said that this thread right here can serve as the OOC, but just in case some people (Mainly me) get's a bit confused at where to put posts at and the general structure of the RP format.

Character name: Angelo Ortega
Class: rouge
species: elf
class: dueler assassin
Skills and talents: early persuasion skill, duel wield novice talent
Items: a dagger and a sword. he prefers the use of blades to that of a bow and arrow preferring to get up close and personal with his target and show them that their numbers mean nothing to his skill with blades. he prefers using blades instead of axes or maces since they are more weapons for a berserker or a warrior but a rouge uses blades to assassinate his victims
Bio: loves to trick people and to kill them from close range and when persuasion fails to change a persons mind he changes everything around them to make it seem like he has no choice. He might prefer the art of persuasion over fighting but he can still kill in stealth and silence if need be although he is a persuasive rouge he is very loyal to those that have earned his trust and he will give his blade to his leader, he may be a rouge and a thief but he is still a man of honor and principles, for example he will not kill women no matter what

He seems fine, but I think your character is the last one I'll accept for now. I'm pretty sure we have enough people for a party of about ten characters, which is as many as you get in the games. I fear any more would make things crowded.
