Would be cool if you could just choose to not exist for a few days.

@The Angry Goat Great! What's your discord handle? Also, sorry for assuming you were a dude!
@The Angry Goat Hey dude. Would you be up for a collab post with myself, shy, and Myst? We could use discord or gdocs. It'd probably work better for a three-way conversation between our characters. Let me know!
@The Angry Goat Haha no worries. I think only a few of you have read the entire thing, which I understand is kind of a big ask. Are you at least up to date with what happened with the Magnagrad group? If not, I can give you a summary.
@shylarah @The Angry Goat maybe Ziotea can bump into Ragnar and Stina and the three can have a short interaction before she leaves to see Rodion?
Hello everyone,

Chapter 1 is planned to begin in the next few days, so I just wanted to talk a bit about what you all can expect for the next segment of the RP. We will be picking up the story in the city of Cero, capital of T'sarae, where our characters will congregate as a warband for the first time since initially splitting up during the prologue. They have all recently arrived in the city by train, with certain groups of people arriving earlier than others. Here's the order of arrival, from first to last (Rodion has been in Cero for a few days already): The Lanostre Group (Astraea, Tatiana and Galahad), the Magnagrad Group (Viveca, Stina, Hassan, Ragnar), the Omestris Group (Oren, Ziotea) and finally, Ilya arrived last by himself.

In Cero, our characters will have about a day to themselves before we depart for the east aboard the two steam arks, the Karamzina and the Grace. On this day, our characters will be free to interact with each other and to basically do whatever they want. There will be a ceremony in the evening where we will all be formally introduced to the support force of naval crewmen and Secular Army soldiers who will accompany Warband Phoenix during the journey. So, until the ceremony later on, we'll be able to do as we wish. You can take this time to meet up with other characters, explore the city or the arks, ect. If you're not sure what to do, make something up! I've always been open to you all taking the story in new directions, and I'll certainly pick up the slack on my end to work with you in creating something fun and interesting for your characters to do.

Feel free to plot amongst yourselves any reunions your characters might have. I know a few of you have plans already, but many others don't. So, to start off the planning...

I think Ragnar would definitely want to meet with Galahad @vietmyke and Tatiana @OppositionJ. He is desperately curious about what happened in Lanostre, and is eager to tell them about his own adventures too.

If there are any questions, please let me know!

@deathbringer @sisyphus @draken @drakey

I know you guys haven't been around for a while, and I'm not sure if you'll even see this post, but you're still welcome to join us. Now would be a really good time to jump back in, now that we're kind of clearing the slate and starting from zero again. We can always catch any of you to the developments you've missed.
@vietmyke Take all the time you need! Like I said before, Galahad can jump back in once we reach Cero. I think @OppositionJ's post does a wonderful job of closing out the prologue, so we can probably have Galahad's thoughts on the matter once we check back in with him in Chapter 1.

Anyway, regarding Tatiana's escape, I posted this on our discord, but I'll post it here as well.

"I think Tatiana's defiance against the clerics can also work to highlight the long gestating rift between the inquisition and the clerics. I think people like Gregoroth and Aleksandre would immediately pardon her for her actions
They'd see her detainment as the clerics meddling in their important mission.
They'd probably even congratulate her on escaping
So this will definitely have consequences down the line but she probably won't be punished too badly in the long run
Since higher ranked inquisitors would fight for her
**Not to mention Indira herself"

So yeah, Tatiana definitely has the ire of the clerics now, but it shouldn't make her into a fugitive or anything.

@OppositionJ Oh wow! I didn't even notice. Thanks for catching it!

Happy One Year Anniversary everyone!

It's certainly been an interesting first year for the RP. Thank you all for sticking with this huge, lumbering monster for a whole year. I know the pace has been glacial at times but I feel like it's been pretty great regardless. You guys are such talented writers and worldbuilders and it's been an amazing experience for me to share this thing with you. Chapter 1 is soon to begin and I think things will move a bit more quickly from now on. Can't wait till the warband is reunited!

@OppositionJ Sure, you can start drafting one.
Heyoo!

Now that @shy and @CollectorOfMyst have finished the Omestris story, we're only waiting on the Lanostre thread to wrap up before we can continue on to Chapter 1.

@vietmyke, I understand you're busy and all, but I think @OppositionJ and I might have to move on and have Galahad kind of be in the background for this part. If you're still too busy to have a post up by this weekend, I think that's probably the best option in order to keep things moving. Once we get to Chapter 1 we'll have a lot more breathing room for you to take your time, since everyone is going to be together and I expect there'll be a lot of interaction between characters who haven't "met" in the story yet. At that point, Galahad can always just jump back in whenever you're ready.

@vietmyke Cool! Looking forward to it!
