@Lucidnonsense Correction. Mgic is very is optional! And rare. I, in no way ment to imply that this rp is based sole around magic or you have to have it. Things might go better for you if you dont after all.

Ah, and apparently some forms of leather armor did exist, also about what century of technology for the north?
Maybe I should have this moved to the casual section...

was my post a bit short?
@Lucidnonsense Think of the North like vikings, Sourthern reaches being more Greek-Britannia. The largest city would be... a tie between several. Though the delta city of Havanna would be largest spread out. Mostly farm land and something with a twist of Egyptian royalty in it. Though its still grass, and riverland. Probably over 500,000. Not as large as Athens.

Leather armour is generally what you would think. Cloth armor would be robes, padding, ect. Technology would be greek level. Perhaps a little roman. Though they know higher level smithing for swords and such.

Leather armor wasnt really that much of a thing though, at least, not the way we see it in fantasy. it had applications of course, but like not like D&D style. of course I guess that doesnt matter, we are playing as magical people anyway.

So looks like the mages tower gets the first laugh.

It just came to mind, if there are historical inaccuracies, shouldn't someone make the truth about it?

I personally think evil ominous wizard towers are a bit cliche...what im thinking is, perhaps the reputation is not entirely deserved.
