Gerald would find himself inside of a pile of cremated Taken, his nose pressed against his neck bone, which would be one of few bones found in the ash pile. His chest and shoulder bones were in there somewhere as well. It appeared that whatever was under that black hood had carried these on or within its person.

Saaria collapsed in her own fiery tornado, exhausted from it all. The fire self fed itself, going until it had burnt out the Magna Pater, and eventually it would quench itself out, the cremated ashes falling slowly to the ground of the cavern. The tunnel leading the the surface would now be a crater, completely crumbled and destroyed. Saaria lay unmoving, covered in ash.

This was just supposed to be how we entered the cave system, but then the Magna Pater came in and I just wanted to speed it up a little
Blow it up once, blow it up again

The smog filled the cavern, and Saaria's vision blurred as she breathed it in. She felt the Magna Pater slam into her side, sending her flying into the wall. It didn't matter, the gas was filling her lungs too quickly. However, the smog seemed to suck into the pile of bone dust, which now glittered with a strange magical glow. Saaria looked at her hands, covered in the dust. Covered with people. Her hands began to shake, as her wings outstretched even more. A troop of purple eyes Taken walked straight past Gerald, leading a massive robed figure behind them. These were the strongest ones. Saaria felt then intrude in her mind, but it was too late. The Taken's hatred only leaked into her, promoting her breakdown. She dropped to her knees as her horns began to glow a dark red. The ground beneath her shook as her eyes lit up with magical energy. She opened her mouth wide, fire gathering within her as her veins turned orange. Nobody would take her prisoner. Never again. She locked eyes with the Magna Pater. She would finish t off quickly, and if it still refused to die, she would at least drive it off. She let out an inhuman screech reminiscent of both the Taken and a dragon, and the cave was engulfed in a fiery explosion. The flames incinerated the bone dust into even finer ash, which blew around Saaria, filling the air as she rose off the ground, a flaming tornado whipping around her body, cremating the Taken and filling the cavern, chasing the Magna Pater up the tunnel. If it didn't escape, it too would fall victim to her rage.

The Taken made its way up the mound, stomping the dust down into Saaria's mouth indirectly. A call was suddenly heard, echoing through everyone's minds. It was almost dark out. The Taken began to climb down the other side of the mound, towards the open tunnel. Saaria flailed as the dust choked her, she had visions of humans squirming around in agony. It was in this moment that she pieced it all together. The Taken trying to grind up Gerald, the visions of deceased villagers. This mound was he grounded up leftovers of the Taken. Saaria coughed, choking on the bone grinds. Her entire torso lit up orange as she prepared her flame, hotter than any flame she had made since she met her new companions. Orange energy flickered around her entire body, and suddenly, the mound lit up, burning from the inside out. Bones didn't ignite at this heat, but the light revealed something else. The entire mine was covered in veins of a silvery green stone, a stone which the locals simply called "Flashstone", philosophers preferred the term "Magnesium". Saaria rose, a flaming dragoness trapped in the cave was nothing to mess with. The Taken had been thrown from the mound, and was laying in the opening. Saaria's wings sent tunnels of fire out into the air as her face turned draconic, and that's when the explosions began. A single vein lit up in a light so bright is blinded the group. And from that flame, the others began lighting up, explosions of pure white light filling the tunnel. The Magna Pater could hear the explosions, but even it couldn't move fast enough for the piercing white light. The magnesium exploded all the way up to the surface, in an almost solar event that only took a few moments. The Taken lay empty, it's eye orbs burnt out. But the explosions had gained attention. A troop of Taken could be heard moving closer through the caves. Gerald could feel his bones nearby. Saaria lay unharmed by the explosion, as she was impervious to fire, however she sensed a great evil coming their way. Something truly monstrous.

Are they still under the ground or are they out of the tunnel?
Saaria outstretched her wings as she heard Cia's frantic cries. She rocketed towards the opening, only remembering a second too late that the tunnel was narrow. Her wings caught on the edge of the tunnel, and she screamed, falling down hard and slamming into the dust pile, now buried deep inside. The Taken gave up on trying to smash Gerald, tossing his skull across the room. It began scaling the dust pile, trying to find the intruder he could now hear.
