I could hear a faint conversation, but I couldn't make out the words, unfortunately, and worse, Giratina used that time to attack me, though, it didn't seem to hurt nearly as much as it used to, strangely enough. "You fool, do you still think there are others who care about your fate?" I looked down, and mumbled "Of course there are... at the very least, she does," Giratina somehow heard that, and responded with "Oh? You think she hasn't moved on to someone else? HA, she evolved for you within the first few days of your relationship! I think she'll forget you just as quickly," Giratina certainly wasn't wrong about that... and that only made me feel worse, even if the leech seed healed whatever damage he dealt to me Why is he doing less and less damage to me? I didn't use coil... I thought as I tried to make heads or tails of this situation... it didn't seem like a dream, due to all the pain from earlier, but... normally he'd still be doing the same amount of damage, if not, more, right? He didn't use any moves that would lower his attack, and I didn't increase my defense, right? Another thing that bothered me was just how random his attacks were... a moment ago, he attacked three times before I could do anything, and now, just this one attack... it just didn't quite add up UNLESS this was a dream, but, again, pokemon typically don't feel pain while they're dreaming.

While I was trying to not slip and fall... and then figure out how something like me would DO that, Josh decided to use Hydro Pump on the graveler, and thankfully, it actually hit, and knocked the thing out. That was one headache out of the way, but after that, the two rockruff turned towards Kamina, and started throwing rocks at him, instead. I couldn't get in the way of the attacks, just like I expected, but, then I remembered that I could use Muddy Water, and did that to hit both of them, without having to deal with the ice. Neither of them saw that coming, and they both took some serious damage from it... but, one of them still stood, somehow. I knew I wasn't that good at using those 'special' attacks, but this was ridiculous. Those were basic pokemon, and they didn't even seem that high leveled, either. The remaining one decided to bark at me a few times, as if it wanted to attack me, but couldn't for some unknown reason. "Huh... tough one, aren't you?" I asked the rockruff, as if I expected an answer, even though I certainly didn't. Why is it that wild pokemon can't speak? Why do they just attack us for the most mild of offenses? It just doesn't make any sense. I thought as the thing continued barking at me. I would have told my team to finish the rockruff off, but, once I looked back, I saw that it was already knocked out, and Daniel was nearby, and cloaked in his usual shadow aura, suggesting that he might have finished it off with a shadow tackle while I was lost in thought.

"Well... I mean, I guess he could be a guide, and it's not like we have reviver seeds, so, if he gets knocked out, we can just teleport him back... right?" the bronzor nodded at this, and I added "So long as he doesn't betray us, he could help us until someone knocks him out, and then it'll just be us, right?" he nodded again, as if agreeing with me, and I said "Sorry, Dexter, but I think I'm going with Rebecca, this time," this seemed to cheer him up, and he started floating away... until he realized we weren't following him. "Hrm... it seems to be quite late, perhaps we really should do this tomorrow... don't want to fall asleep on the job, do you? Ah, and, you can meet me here, in the cafe, as soon as you're ready to start that mission... I'll be waiting," after that, he flew right back into the cafe, and closed his eyes... as if he was just going to sleep here. I then said "Honestly, I think it might be best to do this at night... there might be less enemy pokemon there... but, I'm feeling a really tired, now. Talking to him was exhausting," I was tired enough that my own speech was getting effected, unfortunately, so, chances were, we'd get lost, or, at least, I'D get lost, and then end up separated from my team, which would not end well for anyone.
